  1. I doubt people going for 120 will not be trading their tokens in for xp. 8 hours a day is nowhere near the amount of time some people are willing to put in this game. My guess is a year, because if it continues to be just 35 floors, boredom will stop a lot of people, and the "best" ones will no longer have a team continuously.
  2. Did you lamp/buy the exp?
  3. Then FTP would be a definate demo. Why? Already the "tie higher" armour is first f2p (bronze - iron - mith - addy - rune), and ends with P2P (dragon).. What makes this a demo? - It's not like capes are ment to be the "end" or something: they are just to show you achieved a high level.. Why should there be capes for 120ish stats? - Just updating the skill tables with new higher-level stuff would be fine.. Just like runescape was! Because it'd be like "You have achieved the maximum level available in FTP, please purchase members to level further". The level doesn't have to be capped at 99, F2p can still level to 120 if they'd want to. They even can get the 99 cape, just not the 120 one. Oh I get you. Ok, that sounds like a good idea. Looking from the dungeonning skill guide, the only thing tht changes for the 120 cape is the trim, so it wouldn't make that much of a difference. It's not like if a arrow pointed at you with 120 written on it. The difference is quite subtle. People don't look at skillcapes close enough to notice the diffence, anyway.
  4. You do make a point, here. Great idea.
  5. I've seen really difficult bosses, lately. This frozen ZGW guy, whose spec I was not able to evade, and a bulwark beast, which had an armor that we needed to get through before being able to hit it. Is there something I was doing wrong with them or are they just harder? (Especially the one with the shield, I died maybe 4 times to it due to scarce food)
  6. I hate the fact that I often get matched with a level 130+ in the free-for-all place, which he will log out from, leaving me with an insanely hard boss to kill and no experience at all when I can't... Is there any way to be sure to solo?
  7. I don't see why people are complaining about the fact that you can't solo it... Only with 86s mellee, I find it pretty easy to solo. You just wear the mellee armor+piety+mage protection at the boss.
  8. If that's true, you just killed this topic. I personally hope for May 24th, which is the beginning of my summer holidays.
  9. I'm not a native english speaker, and dont know what "living space" refers to, I'd like to know that. Great input. I sure hope Zarfot gets to be number 1. Such an efficient player.
  10. I'm pretty sure the fols at Jagex are monitoring their time. If Gertjaars-or anyone else's- account is on for 20 hours a day everyday, they probably do something about it.
  11. I'm 24 years old and spend enough time on here as well as having enough perspective to recognize that this was wrong. You're 24 years old yet are trolling that much??? Wow. way to prove that maturity isn't related to one's age. [/irony] Actually, this is the [only] thread in which I have to agree that you make a valid argumentation, even though I don't agree with it. Jagex is a business and, believe it or not, there probably is a bunch of marketing experts who carefully analyzed what 's better to dofrom a company point of view. And I certainly hope Jagex continues to make money, because I want that game to last. I don't really see why we argue. 1) It's not like the admins were forced to do it. They mad3e a choice, and that's their decision. 2)Nobody's gonna miss those games ads. 3)More content=good I don't see how we are losing anything, here. Except if you feel you're gonna miss peeking at those "Come play, my lord" ads...
  12. Seriously, if we can get more content only by removing ads, I don't really see where we're losing. And by we, I mean the users. The admins might be losing some money but that's their choice.
  13. I'm pretty sure it doesn't show up if you are in the Clan tab or private tab, which I regularly am in while in busy areas (eg. rocktails, GE, etc.). It will only show up if you put private to off and are on public or all.
  14. Any particular reason for this Zapdos picture? You, sir, just brought a lot of fond memories back. Maybe release the new skill for real, from a far-off place, so that nobody will actually go and check it out, and only make it show on the highscores/skill tab once you leveled it?
  15. Ok, I'll settle for herb cleaning for a while, and see how it turns out. I hope to get a decent level with that, using profit on prayer. I already sold bgs, and will be buying herbs next time I get time to play. Thanks a lot to everyone who answered!
  16. I've just done 99 fishing...I'm not that muh into collecting for a moment. I'm runecrafting, though. This should get me some pretty nice money. I think I'll trade the BGS for a SGS as soon as I return to slaying. You're right on that one. Should also let me get rid of Guthan's. To clean, I just put mousekeys on and hover my mouse over herbs while spam-"clicking" 5? And what kind of xp/hour would I be getting while doing that? Is 5k herbs/hour a good figure?
  17. Sure, but I don't really care how my highscores look like, and I was told uses of curses before turmoil was not worth it.... Hmmm....Thanks a lot for this way to train hunt, but I' looking to spend some f what I have. I'll be sure to consider that when I decide to train hunter, though.
  18. Hmmm...that wouldn't set me to 95 pray...And I don't really see the point in curses until level 95... Maybe I should keep making money, then? Also, would it be cheaper to get the level for extremes than 95 prayers, and is turmoil better than extremes?
  19. Hi, First, my levels are in my signature. I have been wondering what I should do with my cashpile for quite some time, now. Money and items: 51M Bandos Godsword Dragonfire shield Saradomin Sword Full guthan's Karil's top and legs---Usual protection frrom magic attacks Torag's top and legs----Usual mellee armor. 45k or so pure ess that are being turned into 90k astrals Whip Dragon Boots And some other normal fighting gear. Total value of that being around 160M. I'm currently runecrafting, along with boss hunting. I'd like buying either skills or items for boss hunting, mainly Zammy GWD, which I do along with a level-138 friend who's doing the tanking and the like... First thoughts were prayer/herblore, but then I thoght I might be better if I changed some items, like my godsword. Of course I'd like to keep my slayer gear (whip, torag's, not too sure about dfs since I got titans and their useful scroll....) So I'd appreciate ways to change my bank into either skills or items. Thanks!
  20. That's hot.. but only 15 fps? That's really hot...but anything that involves some clicking would be incredibly tedious. I rather play on my 22" 1680*1050. [but seriously...I'd love having that for flight simulator.....Along with a quad-SLI of the best graphic Cards money can buy.] For Runescape....maybe. I'd have to test it before, though. Even my G9 at top speed would not be enough to get an OK speed, I think....
  21. I think you should keep claws, spec is quite useful in many situations, and, seriously, even just for the sake of keeping your favorite item.... I'm not sure if those 33M would get you Extremes, I think they wouldn't, so when you're gonna have a few hundred mills to spend, it'll still be there to do. To the other guyL He clearly doesn't want to train herblore. You (Or someone else...I don'tcare, tbh), insulted him for having 99 fletching (which is an ok skill, that used to profit. (Heck, my starting money came from there), but then you want him to pwertrain herblore, which he clearly doesn't want to do. Keep those claws, continue with super set. buy the other stuff when you get the cashpile. That's the advice I'd give you....
  22. Definitely do them seprately. You don't get the same xp for catching as for cooking, so you would get 99 cook before fishing. Monkfishes are pretty decent to cook, although you might want to look at sharks past 94. For fishing, just use monks or shilo fly fishing to get to 90, trhen catch rocktails. I think barbarian fishing is too much of an hassle fot that skill. Don't forget that a granite lobster or even an ibis would greatly help you!
  23. It's not like they're only gonna do 1 good quest every 50 quests.... I'm sure it has something to do with the new piece of land.
  24. Yes, same for me. It's a shame that they didn't stick to their own formula. But meh.....Why complain when you have bonus xp?
  25. Here are some figures: Runecraft 50-400M depending on the method Fishing 50M Rockrailing WC:0 from ivys Hunter: Must be somewhere around 30-40M Slayer: Greatly dependant on how you do it, Summoning: I'd be guessing -70M if not maging for the charms. Firemaking: -4M Cooking: -10M, I'd say. Smithing:-80M with hammers, I believe? Construction: -50M with hammers or so Herblore:-250M Prayer:-250M Those are the ones off the top of my head... Might not be that accurate, though.
