Thanks for the comment! I'll definetly try the paragraph thing. As far as the chapter goes, that was short only because it was a bit of an intro. Look, having a protoluge or an introduction is perfectly fine.. but it should definately be longer than just a single paragraph! Treat it as if it were a chapter, or even half a chapter.. Also, putting a line break between paragraphs helps..
  2. Chapter Nine- What lies within By the time we finally managed to arrive home, I was exhausted. Pulling Anthony down the sidewalk wasn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t an easy task at all, especially when you had to shove him violently every so often to keep him from walking into other objects and people. I felt like a guide dog for a blind person, for Anthony had his eyes glued to the pages of that book the entire way home. Nothing could break his absolute concentration, and I gave up trying to speak to him after he screamed, "Belt the bloody hell up, Philip!", in my face a few too many times. Weary of the silence and physical strain, I was definitely overjoyed when I finally stepped through the front door, Anthony, cookbook, and backpack in tow. Our house was your average Surrey townhouse-small, cramped, with a brick exterior. I waited in the kitchen for Mum to appear with her prize clutched in my hands like a knight awarding his mistress with some exotic artifact obtained after a noble quest, as Anthony quietly slipped away, up the stairs to his bedroom. It was impossible to resist noticing the bright yellow cabinets adorned with a wide variety of fantastical creatures; clearly out of place in the dreary kitchen, they were the result of Mum̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s "art phase". "There you are, my Philip! I was wondering where you where.. Have you brought me the book I so direly needed?". Mum said in a singsong voice. She was dressed in a very colourful outfit, flowing with all sorts of different patterns and bejeweled designs, somewhat like a peacock̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s feathers. The glasses were the only thing even remotely sensible about the getup, with thin, square frames. Perched on her flyaway hairdo was a brilliant silver tiara, the latest addition to her "around the house" wear. Of course, Dad wouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t ever let her wear something like this in public, so she confided her.. creative.. clothing designs indoors. "Yes.. that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s it, Philip! Jolly good job, you even managed to find the Limited Platinum Edition copy! Now, my brave and noble adventurer, what shall be your reward?" "Umm.." I paused for a moment or too, trying to find words that even she couldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t possibly misinterpret. "I know.. how about.. I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll sew you some brand-new bedclothes-an offshoot of the WBMIMGT clothing line!" "No thanks.. Mum, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢d rather not.. I like my bedclothes the way they are.." "Okay.. how about I make you a bowl of that borscht you liked last week?" I severely regretted muttering that I liked her cooking last week. "Umm.. I have a better idea.. how about you give me ten pounds or something like that?" "Are you positive that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s what you want, love?" "Yes, Mum.." "Very well.." she mumbled, sounding more than slightly disappointed as she took out her wallet and handed me a few bills. Of course, none of the bills she gave me were actual pounds, however there were more important things to attend to at the moment. The narrow stairs creaked as I slowly proceeded up them, hoping not to alarm the reclusive Anthony. As far as I knew he was still absorbed in that book of his, but I didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want to take any chances. If he heard me, he would simply lock his door and not come out until supper. I was correct, fortunately; he was lying on his bed with the family cat nestled in the crook of his legs, nose immersed in the book. He surprisingly didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even growl obscenities at me as I approached the foot of his bed. Instead, he turned to look at me, his eyes utterly awestruck; he must̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve not have been reading as feverishly as I thought. "Philip.." he muttered softly. "Yes, Anthony?" "This book.. it has all the answers!" "Answers to what? You̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll have to be more specific than that, or I shan̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be able to understand a word you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re saying." "Do you even know what this is?? Here, let me show you.." He showed me the book so I could see the complicated codes lining it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s pages. "No, and frankly I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t care. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s just a bunch of boring Java codes that I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t understand." "JUST A BUNCH OF JAVA CODES??" he laughed maniacally, and for a moment I was concerned for his sanity. "No̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ these codes allow you to create your own universe- a world you can build and form as you see fit." "What!?" I cried, absolutely shocked at this revelation. "Yes! Just think about it.. our own planet! Or country! Or something of that like!" Anthony was practically drooling as we both huddled over that manual, ideas of grandeur and nobility racing in our young, greedy minds. "It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s all in this book! I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been studying how to create the portal right now!" "What can I do to help?" "Keep the parents busy-no doubt that they̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll try to stop me before I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve built the portal.." "How long will it take you to build it?" "About four hours or so.. I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know, something like that, I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll have to read some more.. Go down stairs, and keep Mum busy so that she doesn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t overhear what I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m doing." With that, I rushed down the stairs, thinking of ways I could keep our mum "occupied" for a long period of time.

offtopic: lol u are mean btw i think noob is a normal common word and use ignore list What the hell does this have to do with anything?
  4. No. None of these are like the old wilderness. Your ignorance is absolutely astonishing. It doesn't have anything to do with money. It's all about the gaming style. Pits and Bounty Hunter are near clones of eachother anyways... I hate skilling and wasting time. I bet if they took out all skills in the game, you'd feel exactly the same as I do. Woah there, so even though I spent tons of money on this game I have to "go find something else"? I don't want to "play something else", I want to pay the game that I flippin' payed for.
  5. Unoalexi replied to IeatWindex's topic in Rants
Wow, yet another "ranting about people who rant" thread. I am so impressed. I'm not an RS addict, and I'm not going to just "get over it". Imagine this- You buy season tickets for your favorite sports team, right? Now, what if the coach of that team, no wait, the coaches of all the teams decided to replace all of the players with babies dressed in massive foam suits. Oh, and the sport was changed to an easter egg hunt, where all the little kids, even the ones that just sat on the grass and cried, get a pat on the back and a "Good job little Bobby, you won!" for playing. You see how I feel here? Yes, it is "just a game", but it is also a service I payed a hell of a lot of cash for, and since that game is nolonger fun for me, I feel I have wasted my money.
  6. ..The number of servers is related to the size of the country, not the amount of players playing the game. In fact, due to the fact that Jagex is a British company, I would say that there are more British players than American. UNDESIRABLE? Undesirable to who, you? Who have probably never pked(by staking or otherwise) in your entire time playing? Taking away the wilderness does NOT get rid of the pures. In fact, removing the wide, open spaces of the wild has actually helped the massive all-pure clans.
  7. Ermm.. where's the story? Look, you have to actually write the story before creating a topic about it! Otherwise, this topic is spam, and it will probably get locked...
  8. Umm.. what? I couldn't tell what was happening, it was very hard to follow.. Make sure your sentences flow together, and don't be afraid to fully explain what's going on. Be descriptive! I'm all for unique sentence structure, but too many convoluted sentences can make your story hard to understand. Also, make sure you don't have any sentence fragments. You need a subject and a verb in every sentence! Instead of- Making for lots of precipitation This sentence has no subject! Say-The air masses clashed together, creating a large amount of precipitation Instead of- Naturally, snow during this time of the year. This sentence has no verb! Say-Due to the present date, this precipitation fell from the clouds in the form of snow, covering the land in a thick, white blanket. You could even combine the two thought together in one sentence. The clashing air masses spawned many powerful snowstorms, which coated the surrounding land in a layer of thick, withe fluff. Also, make sure to only place a line break before and after a paragraph, not between each and every sentence.
  9. *twitches* RATS.. *twitch* fleeing *twitch* sinking *twitch* SHIP! *twitch* I like this one.. But aren't you forgetting something? Ehem.. *cough* Zaros *cough* It's perfectly fine if you forget about Zaros, but since you are writing about the God Wars.. Zaros technically came before Zammorak(He stabbed Zaros in the back with the ancient magic staff, but also was impaled with this staff at the same time. Thus, Zaros's powers were transfered to him through this staff, making him a god and killing Zaros) This is only if you were aiming for a more canon version of this story.. I thought I might as well point this out because people do seem to forget him alot.. By all means write your own version of the God Wars story, however it will be more fanon in a sense because you did leave out Zaros.. ~~~~~~~~~ Name-Averic Ravensky Gender-Male Likes-Hugging trees, balanced scales, meditation, herblore. 10. I tried my best there.. it's quite hard since I am an American and haven't had much experience with British people.. -.-

Although you're post was beautifully thought out, I've noticed some problems with your solutions.. Rest assured that I agree with you for the most part.
  12. If you know nothing of the wild, how can you possibly judge it?? I dont know Members PKing. Considering you seem to hate pking, I figure it's safe to say that you know little of what f2p pking is really like. The scum you see at (the former) lvl. 1 Varrok wild isn't an accurate representation of the pking population.
  13. *cough*Rats.. fleeing.. sinking.. ship..*cough* Shouldn't "young men" be boys..?
  14. My only complaint- Long talking parts such as this can be hard to follow.. I suggest you break them up somehow or at least(after a few lines or so) remind us who's talking..
  15. Chapter Eight-the beginning of the beginning. It began with a simple trip to the London Branch Library to check out a cookbook for our mum.. It was a lovely summer afternoon, and Anthony and I had just finished our last day of school, so we were all the more eager to complete the chore. We walked briskly to the library, chatting about a number of trivial things-girls, sports, and such. However, there was really only one thing that dominated our thoughts; how we would spend these few months of freedom from books and teachers. I was just outlining a daring plan to toilet paper Mr. Lenton̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s house(the most batty and mean old ninny you could possibly meet) when we finally reached the gleaming glass doors of the public library. The stuffy lobby was completely vacant except for a ancient librarian, who kept shooting me angry stares until I finally stopped talking. I roamed the shelves, much quieter this time lest I should invoke the old bat̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s wrath, searching for the cookbook mother had requested. Anthony had apparently ran off somewhere, probably to read another one of those obscure fantasy novels he loved so much. I sighed to myself, and shook my head. It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s just like Anthony to disappear the moment there̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s work to be done. I scanned the musty, thick books, cursing my mother̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s sudden urge to try Latin recipes. She fancied herself a five-star chef, and was always very eager to try cooking anything to "give her more experience." Mostly, these attempts were.. less than successful. However, on occasion, we would get lucky and something would actually turn out edible(like the borsht we had last week.. that wasn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t half bad.). Thus, Anthony and I often were sent to the library to check out cookbooks. Although I preferred she would actually follow a recipe instead of making things up as she went along(she was rather fond of this too), I couldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t say I enjoyed myself running these errands. The library was sweltering hot in the summer, and below freezing in the winter. It was drafty, damp, and I could hardly breathe in the heavy, dust-ridden air hovering over the thousands of tomes. The librarian would snap and hiss at you for making any noise whatsoever, even if you coughed or sneezed. So, whenever I heard the dreaded words-"Philip, go get Anthony and check out book x from the library", I cringed. After squinting in the dim light for what seemed like hours, I finally found the book Mother had requested. Eager to leave this awful place, I grabbed the book from it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s shelf and began my hunt for Anthony in between the rows of fantasy books, however it seemed he wasn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t in his usual haunts. Frantic, I ran from isle to isle, ignoring the snarls of rage from the librarian whenever I stepped on a squeaky floorboard. Huddled in the electronics section, I found him glued to a book as usual. "Come on, Anthony! I found the dumb book, let̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s go" I whispered hoarsely, hoping that the old hound at the front wouldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t overhear me. There̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s no telling exactly what she would do if she caught you whispering. "Not yet.." he seemed to mumble, not playing the least bit attention to what I said. He was totally engrossed in that book of his, the one with "A How-To Guide to Java Programming" printed neatly across the front. "Anthony, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t have time for this! I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t want to waste my summer in this crypt! Come on!" I tugged at his arm for a moment or two, pulling him to his feet. Relentlessly, I dragged him to the counter, clutching his book for dear life. "Well well well, so it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the rowdy cooking bunch again?!" The lady growled as I placed my book Anthony̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s(desperately pried from his hands) on the front desk. "Should I bother to check out your books this time? Maybe If I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll teach you that the library is a place for absolute silence! Hmm.." "Please, mam, please check out our books. I promise I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll never ever utter a sound in this library again, I swear it if you check out our books! Such a beautiful, kind, sweet lady as yourself could surely fund it in your heart to forgive me of my terrible sins!" Flattery always works. "Well.." she was obviously very subdued by my flattery-I doubt she has been called "beautiful" in a very long time indeed. "Okay. But only this once. Other times.. WATCH OUT!" she snarled as she handed our items back. "Thank you, my sweet madam.", I cooed, kissing the crone̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s hand just before we left. Snatching the yellow book from my arms, my brother delved back into the captivating guide. Elated about finally leaving that horrible place, I didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t even complain about the extra work as I shoved and puled my brother out of the building, too engrossed in his book to walk.
  16. If you know nothing of the wild, how can you possibly judge it??
  17. Jagex is not my highschool football team. It is a company that owns a game that I pay for, and now they have made significant changes to this game that, in my opinion, make the game unplayable. I'm quite pissed about this, and I'd rather let Jagex know about my feelings so they could maybe make changes to these updates. If you don't like the rants, then don't read then. You're ranting about people who rant about the updates. :wall: "Limit offensive opinions"?! A)How does one define offensive? Offensive to you? Offensive to me? In opposition to one's party?? Criticizing the actions of this party? IF the limiting of opinions(which is essentially the limiting for free speech) was allowed, corrupt politicians could twist it to suit their own means. B)How do you plan to control these opinions? Mind-control? Unlike freedom of speech, opinions are essentially a mental element..
  18. It's grammar. Ahahaha, when i read that, i was like dude, you need help with your spelling. But i have only seen rev imps, and they hit like 5s at lvl8 i believe. I rarely go into the wildy, mainly because i have nothing to do in there, i'm f2p though. Just to warn everyone out there who wants to pick on me for spelling, I got an "A" for English every year from seventh grade to eleventh. I got an A in my GCSE for language and Literature. That should end all your moans about my English. Well it would, if you could type properly to support your claims. It's perfectly fine to use improper grammar occasionally, but please don't criticize others if you can barely use correct spelling and grammar as well. As for the reverants, why the hell can they poison and freeze players in free-to-play? As far as I know, anti-poison potions aren't even free-to-play.. The reverants are way, way overpowered. Kindly explain to me how a level 80 monster can hit 30's on me every strike, let alone freeze, poison, and teleblock me in one strike.
  19. Unoalexi replied to Dire_Wolf's topic in Rants
Yikes.. since when is it okay to outright flame someone for their opinions? Misguided perhaps.. but you don't scream at him for writing about them! My flipping god! If people who actually read the rant they would clearly see that, although muddled in misconceptions and inaccuracies, this rant does have relevance! Please explain to me what purpose do these spammy replies have other than to flame the poster. Wow.. last time I checked, flaming was against the rules. I guess it isn't anymore.. In some ways, Jagex is the "government" of Runescape. By no means was he being literal! However, he does seem to mix up the ideologies of socialism and fascism with the concept of a dictatorship. If he was referring to Jagex becoming more and more like an actual dictatorship, then his complaint is irrelevant because Jagex has always been a dictatorship. Since Jagex owns Runescape, you can't possibly expect it to be another way. It would be well in their rights to do whatever they please with the game, and the users who choose to play it. This makes Runescape unlike a country- it's citizen's can choose to be a part of it's community whenever they feel like it, and if they get fed up with the new updates, they can always simply quit. In this instance, we see a near reversal of roles-with the player community exerting control over Jagex's actions, not by the law, but by Jagex's own motivation to make money. Now, if Jagex had no such motivations, they would implement whatever updates they wanted; hell, they could even make the game about Nazi Carebears raping innocent children. However, since Jagex is motivated by is own desire to make money, they would do no such thing because who in their right mind would want to pay for such a game?? As you can see, there is a clear difference between would do and could do. If he was referring to how the economy of Runescape is becoming more like a socialist state, then the complaint is perfectly relevant if he prefers a more capitalist system. If he was referring to how the fictional "laws" (AKA, the updates killing merchanting, staking, and player-killing.) are becoming more fascist, then the argument still has some relevance, but only in a sense. Now, the game and it's "laws" will never be truly fascist because the players will always have the choice to play or not play the game. However, they are somewhat fascist because they limit the activities that a player can partake in while playing.
  20. which is true...but then alot of you are trying to make the point that so many people left because of the update' date=' thats fine but- How can you prove this if the numbers mean nothing, aru? I was simply pointing out that, although sever numbers really don't mean anything, that his "facts" were inaccurate in the first place. And why do you guys keep puting down the idea that theres a difference between Runescape being ruined for ME and Runescape being ruined for EVERYONE? He right, just because someone dislikes the update dosnt mean Runescapes Ruined. A)It was his idea in the first place. B)Simply because one person(or the "majority) feels that something is "ruined" doesn't mean that everyone(or every individual) will feel the same way. In a given population there will always be a difference of opinion.. humanity will hardly unanimously agree to anything. c)I have no utter idea what point you are trying to get across in this paragraph.
  21. Just here saying that I do actually read this! : Your story is definitely entertaining.. I like it.
  22. No, I actually still play the game and pay attention. How about you? :-w I still play alot. Unfortunately I have bought a year of members in advance, and I figure I should get my money's worth- good or bad. Have you tried to log on lately? Yup. There's only around one thousand people or so in my home worlds, compared to the two thousand before the update. Seen how busy the servers are? Server amount vary on a variety of factors such as the date and the time of day, therefore I have no idea what you mean here. Have you tried hunting dragons or gone to a slayer dungeon? Umm yes? On my home world, the Carniffs dungeon is as empty as always.. Maybe checked out the GE? It took me a week to buy a set of pink clothing, two months to sell a pair of addy boots, three months to sell a magic composite bow, and two weeks to buy a set of snakehide armor. You see, if you had, you would have seen no real difference in amount of activity from before the update. Lol.. Sorry buddy, but there has been a drop in the mean amount of people on, after the update and before the Christmas holidays, according to the amount of people in my home worlds. Yes, PKing supplies have fallen in price. Big surprise. However, skilling supplies have either stayed the same or risen. Blue d'hides have risen a bit and Dragon Axes have gone up (for instance) Maybe before you start calling other people blind you should open your OWN eyes up to the fact that PKing supplies are just one small part of the greater economy. The skilling and pking parts of the old RS economy where just that-parts of a whole, separate but equal. You can hardly call the skiller part the "greater" economy. It means exactly what you don't want to admit it does - RS can and will live just fine without PKing. Of course it can. A society changes as it develops, and the people adapt to those changes-I'm not denying this. However, we're discussing whether or not RS is better off without pking, not if it can survive without it. What part of "I disagree" are you having problems understanding? No, I can understand civil disagreement. Except that's not what you're doing there-you're brutally flaming them for their opinions because they don't believe the same things as you do. That I can not tolerate. Again, have you checked the server numbers recently, gone to the slayer dungeons, etc. etc. Fact is that there is just as many, if not MORE, people on now than there was before the change. I have done both things, and yet the evidence doesn't seem to support your claims.. So either the rioters are still playing while complaining, or their departure didn't cause the big problem for Jagex that they had thought (or hoped) it would. We never wanted to cause a "problem" for Jagex=we simply wanted to show that we don't like how Jagex killed our favorite part of the game. No, I thought I had made that pretty clear. What? Lmao? You have no facts-all you show me is biased opinions. You can't possibly force me to say that RS is "not" ruined because Jagex killed my favorite part. It is ruined-for me. It's like how RS would be ruined for you if Jagex killed skilling and monster hunting. It must be difficult to hate something when you obviously don't understand its meaning. What? This is what you said- Or, to put it another way, there is a vast, great difference between "RS is ruined FOR ME" and "RS is ruined for EVERYONE." Since you apparently seem to know enough math to criticize other's math skills, how about a little geometry? We'll use your statement as the conditional. If RS is ruined for everyone, then it is ruined for me. True, right? According to your logic, of course.. Now let's take the inverse of that. If RS is not ruined for everyone, then it is not ruined for me. Still true, somewhat. However, then you say this, which we can use as the contrapositive of the statement.- In fact, RS seems to be going better than ever! If Rs isn't ruined for me, then it isn't ruined for everyone! This brings us back to your original statement.- There is a vast, great difference between "RS is ruined FOR ME" and "RS is ruined for EVERYONE." Let's try the inverse of this statement, shall we? There is a vast, great difference between "RS is ruined FOR ME" and "RS is ruined for EVERYONE." Compared to the contrapositive of the previous conditional- If Rs isn't ruined for me, then it isn't ruined for everyone! Excuse me, but if the two statements are not related, how can you not be hypocritical here? If RS was "ruined" no one would be playing it. In your own words-There is a vast, great difference between "RS is ruined FOR ME" and "RS is ruined for EVERYONE." Since there are still as many people playing it now as was before indicates that for the vast, vast majority of people it isn't (and wasn't) ruined. Inverse of your own words-There is a vast, great difference between "RS is ruined FOR ME" and "RS is ruined for EVERYONE." Cry all you want, insult me all you want, but the facts are the facts. I'm not insulting you nor am I crying. Bring me real facts, not opinions, and I will agree with you. RS is still going great and is still very, very popular. ^opinion Again, full servers seem to indicate that it certainly WASN'T ruined for everyone. There is a vast, great difference between "RS is ruined FOR ME" and "RS is ruined for EVERYONE." In fact, it appears that it wasn't ruined for MOST everyone. Most everyone? What language are you speaking here? Is RS not ruined for everyone or most people?? Yet another contradictory statement..
  23. I don't know, maybe math isn't your strong suit? You have a some friends leaving (BTW - leaving means they haven't yet), yet the servers are still full. I still don't see why full servers=a good game. Doing the math would seem to indicate that the loss of your friends hasn't affected RS in the least little bit. What math equation is involved here? :-s Again, you seem to have a basic lack of comprehension. If RS was going bad for everyone, then why is everything still going great? Great=OPINIONATED STATEMENT! You state that a couple of your friends have left, yet the servers are still full, the monster areas crowded and the GE busy. GE is still busy? Lol? It took me three months to sell a magic composite bow! You see, if RS was going bad for everyone then these things wouldn't be happening. The fact that they are points to the fact that RS is better for most everyone.Sorry budy but opinions are not facts. No, I showed that the servers are still full and RS is still doing great. Once again, great is an opinion. All you've shown is a peculiar aptitude in missing the larger point. We all get it that you and your friends aren't happy. What you don't get is that the vast, vast majority IS happy. Vast majority? You have no proof. I want surveys, not you screaming at me that RS is "great" Maybe you should extend your circle of friends in order to see the greater point. What? Why wound this help? Oh, I see what you mean.. include more self righteous hypocrites that think and feel as you do? No thanks.. Better yet, just pull up the server page and see how many people are still on. That doesn't mean these people are happy with the changes being made to the game! Complain, insult and kevetch all you want, the facts point to the truth - RS has moved on since the changes with no real discernible negative impact. What's a kevech? Sure, they lost a couple of people. Some of these people will be missed, but I think the greater amount won't. All I see are your horribly biased opinions here. More importantly though is that it seems as if the number of new members is as much as, if not more than, the number of quitters. This is largely due to the coming summoning update.. I'm sorry, no 'right'??!! I have every right to do so, especially when it's the truth. Once again, only horribly biased opinions here. Again, if "most" people were impacted and "most" people "lost what they did for fun", then why are "most" people still on and still playing? Face it, for MOST people, RS is more, MUCH more, than PKing. Don't believe me? Take a look at those server numbers. Sever numbers don't prove a thing.
  24. Well, it's not bad, but it's not good, either.. -The scan lines just don't flow with the rest of the signature, and the irregular rain splotches aren't helping. -I can't figure out what's in the background. -The text isn't good either.. Especially the white box around "Venom". -The text placement needs work.. Final rating- First time-Eight kittens out of ten. Regular-Seven kittens out of ten.
  25. It's not bad, but it could definitely get better. I love your shading and coloring style, it's unique and very interesting to look at. However.. -*Gasp*.. Roger(or is that David with the sunburst guitar?) has boobs?!? I think you might have over shaded his chest a bit.. -You might want to thicken the black band on the sunburst pattern of the guitar.. -It's rather empty at the moment. -Nick's head really is too big.. -The center drum should be bigger. Other than that, it's pretty good, methinks... It just isn't your best. I give it- Seven kittens out of ten.
