It could be that you just burned the game to keep for yourself, then traded in the origional for cash. The reason most stores like wal-mart don't take PC games back, just exchange for another copy. Birthday is tomorrow \:D/ Going to trade in my PS2 and games and get a PS3 and MAG. Going to be fun  I'll have to get used to a PS3 controller though. Ah, it's not difficult to get used to. :P And here you can't trade in, nor exchange, anything like that. Once the PC game case's open there's no returning it unless it's faulty. Be sure to add me on the PSN, name: carl-dub . Likewise with all the other readers of this thread, would love some more Tip.It friends.
  2. Remember they did an advert on movies? This, I'm sure is just basicly the same thing. However, personally, I don't think food's a good idea...

Never play on Valor, it's full of noobs with no teamwork. I know, because I was on Valor during beta. Next game I get is going to be MAG, but don't have the money to get it yet. :( Wait, your post gave me an idea! I could trade in some of my old PC games to get money! :D Depends on where you're trying to trade Pc games in, I traded my Ps3 games in at GameStop. They don't do trade-ins on Pc games for reasons like folks possibly uploading viruses etc to them, then returning. (Or I believe that's the reason, correct me if I'm wrong. ;)) I am unsure as to why I got the collectors edition, too, I only brought up the standard one and the lady behind the counter gave me Collectors Edition. Perhaps it's my charm.
  4. Moved to Help and Advice. :)

Traded in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War & Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 yesterday, 50 for the 3. Then I got the collectors edition MAG, so far, so good. I'm enjoying it - I did at first choose Raven, after 6 hours playtime however I deleted that profile and begun on S.V.E.R. Shall be good. :P
  6. Returned my Modern Warfare 2 yesterday, hadn't played it in over two months. The game just...annoyed me. The first Modern Warfare was by far better, the only "good" thing I found about Modern Warfare 2 was the graphics and the ability to silence snipers etc etc. Oh, and slaughtering people with the tactical knife. The maps I suppose let it down, only made it to level 37 before boredom kicked in.
  7. Locked as per creators request.
  8. It's best not to joke about botting in-game, at all. Remember, sarcasm isn't detected easily on the internet and some may take you seriously..
  9. Wkw427, can you please try to post the full size images rather than the thumbnails? Thumbnails make us navigate away from Tip.It just to view it, not even in full size (Which requires an extra click). Thanks. ;) Some really awesome pictures found guys, I didn't know areas were plotted so...randomly!
  10. I've moved some images (Pictures of users characters and other people which aren't relevant to the topic at hand) to the Post all Rs related screenshots thread. This topic's about new places which couldn't be seen before due to restrictions, so please try keep on-topic. Thanks. ;)
  11. I've merged the Orb of Oculus thread with this one as it contains more data, and perhaps what informations been gathered from the newly released Orb of Oculus will prove useful with what Warriormonkx and the past posters have already gathered.
  12. As I said yesterday, your theories the most probable yet. If it is what you've explained already, it'll be awesome.
  13. Isn't the emote for the farming patch teleport which is used via the elite cape from Ardougne the same kind of emote in the post? Where you turn into a tree. Perhaps it was a player with a farming cape who had just teleported to that location and said they'd love a farming patch in their garden that can grow them seeds? (Sorry if I'm wrong - I don't farm. )

  15. I've just confirmed this image to be a fake with the person who made it, so no more need to speculate, therefore I've locked this topic. Carl

  17. This made me lol, but I highly doubt it's a true fact :P It's a true fact. :P Just because I'm tired and British doesn't mean you can take advantage of my gullibility :P Is it really true though? :o How do you know? We're friends.
  18. This made me lol, but I highly doubt it's a true fact :P It's a true fact. :P
  19. Do you realise the majority of older players aren't phased by the filter? I know it doesn't bother me nor my friends, infact I was even happier with it before certain words were removed from the filter. It's only the kids that complain about it, and yes, you can bet younger players will sign up with a fake age. Words like wagon (Wagon being the censored version here) I was happy with being censored; I never had reason to use it. "You're an [wagon]" - "You're an idiot" do the same job.
  20. I don't think any of you should be expecting many content-related questions to be answered. It's possible Mark doesn't know what exactly is being worked on, he's not a developer remember. Andrew on the other hand can answer those questions.
  21. Grand Exchange Database's still in BETA and it's been out a lot longer. :P
  22. Yes they've been doing this for a very long time, i remember one of my friends who got muted and in his appeal said he would kill himself if he wasn't unmuted, not long after the police showed up at his house. Jagex are allowed to contact the authorities if someone is threatening to kill themself in real life on their game :) It's a pretty good idea, however most of the time it would be waisting the authorities time. Another life could be in actual danger, but the police are occupied with a online mmorpg player who made a false threat against themselves. I've said previously in this thread that there's something major which people are missing here. There's more than one law enforcement officer in the building at any one time. They've got several vehicles, and they're not going to assign the whole force to one person. One, maybe two will be sent to investigate the matter. Not the whole army. There's plenty police officers to go around, trust me. Now - it is to my understanding that any situation where a user says they're contemplating suicide -- in some form or other, Jagex hand that information over to the police, rightly so. I watched a video today in which a "12 year old kid", as he called himself, was only joking about commiting suicide. A Jagex moderator contacted him in-game, requested he ring a number (Which was that of a police station) to confirm that he is okay. And if he didn't ring, officers would come out to the house. He did infact ring the police and was told to put his parents on the phone, which of course he complied. And it went from there. I think people really need to realise that suicide isn't a topic that should be joked about - it is very serious, and in the online world it is very possible for people to become very angry. Many people play online games as an escape from real life if they are having trouble, if something happens to them in-game it will only make the situation worse where suicide will then come to mind for that person. It's a very sad situation. No-one on this thread should see this as a joke, it did happen, has happened many times before and is going to continue to happen. Jagex aren't overstepping their boundaries, they instead are using their initiative in benefit of the players safety. Afterall, human life is more important than any game, or, anything in life.
  23. Currently there's green, blue, red and yellow and of course, the default "standard" whip. To paint atleast one, you must have 50 points in any role in Barbarian Assault. They are the reason there's been a rise in whip prices. And I don't think any other items will receive such an option, whips have several different colours so it was a possibility.
  24. Accounts used to start out with 9 hp. Congrats on 90 thieve, do you plan on going for 99? Accounts never started with 9hp, back in RSC level 10 (in this case, hitpoints) was 1,000 Xp. In 2004 when things change from RSC to what we have now, the Xp required for level 10 changed. The XP for level 10 is now 1,154. Thus meaning you're level 9 if you have less XP than that, and so on. People who haven't done combat since 2004 still have 9hp. Anyway, congratulations on 90 thieving, that an insane achievement to go so far without being put off by the chances of dying all of the time. Best of luck on 99, if that's your goal.
  25. I don't have the foggiest idea how this game works.
