  1. You mean you can solo it like how you solo in WoW? You have to be a super high level and it's hard as hell? Yay, fun... <_<
  2. No, no it won't be. This will be a group skill through and through and frankly, that just disgusts me.
  3. I'd give anything for this to be a failure. I'm hoping the community completely rejects the skill because of it's group aspect.
  4. I said WoW because that's the biggest and well known of those. It wasn't the Instance Dungeons that I was sighting either. It was the group play aspect that WoW is practically entirely reqired to play. This is the first step towards that. I also think this is the final break between me and Jagex.
  5. ... Group Skill? I think I just died a little inside.
  6. Okay then, tell me, what are you actually suggesting? I'm seeing a lot of positive comments toward this with negative comments trying to disprove them, but those negative comments have no actual structure. They're just "Nah, not that." "Yeah, must be this." Tell me what they are actually trying to do? I think Mario Sunny hit the nail on the head perfectly. I'm going to go out here on a whim, but I'm guessing this plan to take over Fansites is also part of their scheme for world domination? ... I'm suggesting it would've been more ethical to retain complete independence from any outside forces and to rebuff any attempts at influencing Tip.it's decisions. Even if only for something that apparently is as low a priority as advetisements.
  7. Not, I'm not suggesting shady back room deals. I'm also not one to scream sell out either. But when you allow a company to have influence over the decisions you make in, in this case what advertisements you run, in exchange for other benefits that to me is selling out. Also don't forget my largest grievance in this whole matter is the treating of Zybez by Jagex.
  8. Also, I love how they keep saying it was worth selling out cause we'll be Platinum soon. As if Gold or Platinum matters when you're discussing principles. From what I can tell, Selling out for Gold: Wrong  Selling out for Platinum: A-Okay. Or... Selling out for Money: Wrong  Selling out for Concept Art, Moderator Interviews, and other random perks: Also A-Okay
  9. Yes, that was probably the best p2p as it relates to f2p in the past 2 years.

    Nomad vs Kyatt

Spam clicking Kyatt worked for my character earlier this week.
  11. Not this week, but in the near future there might be :) Really? I'm surprised no one was able to knock one out quickly. Just no clan column please. And if I'm one of those two people you're referring to Carl, I'm not complaining for no reason. I have a reason you simply don't agree with it's validity.
  12. I'm 24 years old and spend enough time on here as well as having enough perspective to recognize that this was wrong.
  13. Yes, we're gold because Tip still has members with the nerve to question the grat and powerful Jagex. This is the crux of the matter. Jagex has decided that in order to give Platinum status, and all the benefits this entails, then you must follow their set of guidelines. People on one side think it is fine to allow them influence in exchange for the perks. People on the other think that Tip as such should not allowed anyone outside of tip to have any influence on Tip in *any*manner. Now all I have to say that we darn sure better have a column about this because there is so much discussion to be had. I swear to God if it's just another column about clans and clan updates I'm going to flip.
  14. Qeltar's point I believe is that Tip asked for clarification that the sub-site was okay and even being in the position that it even had to be brought up is a problem in and of itself. I also agree with that point.
  15. Much like Church and State I think we should maintain a seperation of Jag and Tip. And frankly Tip just went and George Bushed it all up.
  16. So then *if* we get a defence rework you'll complain about that too because it's a 'common sense update'? No because that would be a complete reworking of the skill, not simply an add on. I know that would be a lot of work to rebalance combat. It will be a big update that was common sense as well. So yes it will be, but I won't complain. ... unless it's bad.
  17. Yes Butterflies were good. Imps weren't money makers really because it was just someone else spending their money for other stuff. The zombie imp was a money saver though. Also the WC rebalance was fine, but these, like the multiple runes craftabler for deaths/bloods for me are more like common sense updates than high level updates.
  18. But muting people for naming their site and starring it out amongst other stuff? In this instance, Jagex tried to tell them what to do, they refused, and will now be subject to mistreatment.
  19. Yes, but someone there knows the marketshare we possess. Now if some people don't like it that's one thing, but they know what we have to offer them. I think some concept art and the occassional Mod interview is quite paltry.
  20. And not only did you sell out, you undersold yourselves. You could've gotten a lot more for it.
  21. It's the sheer amount of promised content and the very long wait we've had. Also with most the high level content being crap, like Implings, we all grow weary of it. We're not impatient, we're just tired of unfulfilled promises.
