Well I conducted a time trial and it seems the underground route works best. The route you show is a possible alternative, and while it is faster than the current dark blue route, it's because those using the dark blue route wouldn't be able to use the boat shortcut. :P Thanks for the thought though, it's always greatly appreciated. :thumbup: If you want to discuss this further don't hesitate to PM me. :)

The dark blue route is for people who haven't completed In Search of the Myreque, which is required to use the boat. I think your route might take longer because, combined with the run from the bank, it is quite a long ways. I'll try it out and see what happens :)

This guide looks great so far! The pictures describe what to do clearly, and I (who previously knew nothing about this) have a good sense of what to do. This guide is great as well because you answer controversial questions such as whether or not the SC items are useful. All of the different aspects of mining in the Quarry are covered. Very thorough :thumbup: I can't wait for it to be finished, I'll definitely use it on my journey to 99! :)
