  1. I think another related idea would be to have the immediate quest tree appear on every quest guide. Example below: This lets the user know exactly where his or her progress is throughout the quests in the game. Each mini-tree would display the current quest surrounded by the immediate sequels and immediate prequels (no more than that, so only 3 levels). What's most helpful about this would probably be what comes after the quest, as the prerequisites would already be in the guide. Other paths from the side could converge on WGS (like Defender of Varrock, Summer's End, etc.)
  2. I have you in my power  ! Hehe, well I'm going to take a big look at this new map we have here, it is a lot different than the old one.
  3. They don't call it the Grandmaster quest for nothing! :P (even though I found ME2 to be much harder  ) Glad you like it, if we pursue this idea I can color code it in terms of difficulty (Beginner-Grandmaster, just like Jagex rates them) and make it much more concise :).
  4. I like the idea, here I've made a sample image of the Quest line to While Guthix Sleeps :). They aren't color coded in any way, but that can easily be changed ;)! There are LOTS of repeats, so I am going to make the image a bit less cluttered by having the story lines grouped together (e.g. Plague City-Biohazard-Underground Pass, etc.) I can make a similar diagram of all the quests that exist, but I wouldn't do it unless the Crew would find it useful :P. It's good to have a visual way of looking at progress (I am a visual learner myself :D).
  5. Too easy to get D2H, Chaos elemental is much harder. Only way it could work is if the chances for the sword were similar to the KQ and dust devils for d chain (tho not quite as uncommen). That was the intended meaning by extremely rare ;) Secondly- I think that this would be impossible. Mainly for the fact that no one can carry enought supplies to last them the entire journy. 3 commanders. - 40 damage minimum Various monster damage. - 50 damage minimum + stat and prayer drainage. Dracaros - 71 instant(worst case senario) + 100's of damage throughout battle. Guessing 200 for calculations sake, yet most likey more with those kind of attacks.Magic prayer + dragonfire shield will cut out the majority of the magical attacks, unless the team gets within melee range in which case 6 rune slots for door. Only one person needs to cast the spells, although the process for unlocking the door could be changed entirely, like a puzzle or something. Various armour etc to change with to adapt to Dracaros attacks. So, using sharks to eat: 40+50+71+200=361 damage if you only recieve 200 damage from Dracaros 361/20 = 18+6 rune slots for the door = 24 slots. That leaves 4 slots for armour/ super stat restore and/or prayer pots. -This means that you need to have a decent summoning lvl to hold enought items, and ur BoB not be killed. On the whole the BoB shouldn't get attacked unless it is allowed to engage for too long So now Thirdly- Assuming that we need 90+ hit points, 90+ Defense, 90+ Magic, and 90+ range, this would put the player at lvl 88. BUT we will also need at least 43 prayer, tho this would not last long enough against such prayer draining monsters, so I will put it at an average of 70. 97 combat now. 67 Summoning will also be needed for a decent BoB, the War Tortoise. 105 combat now.Almost a must, as it should be, agreed. That leaves you with 74 attack and 74 strength for 110 combat. But if you were to say have 90 att and 90 str you would be 120.This entire area is meant to be taken on by 120+ players, it is supposed to be an extreme combat situation only survivable by the most powerful players Forthly- With no tele option or run option no one will bring any items that are valuable, but which is needed to defeat Dracaros.I forgot to take out the teleblock, it definitely makes it ridiculously dangerous The intended kills per trip would be around 2-10 Hope I was not to mean  , and I would comment on the rewards as they seem a bit overpowered, but the I can respect the time and effort that has gone into makeing this brilliant idea. With some slight changes this would have to be a definate  . Gl, This is great feedback, maybe the max hits can be altered slightly.
  6. There are 100s of channels, try going to World 2 GE. There's always a bunch of advertisers shouting to join such and such channel ;) Of course, those channels may not be professional/experienced in any way. Most hardcore merchanting channels are secret and invite only, usually you have to be good friends with someone already in them. Try solo merchanting, you may find it a bit more interesting :P
  7. Yes, that is FoG. 3D Renders are great if they are vividly detailed and in color, all we can really see from this image is basic shapes :? Nevertheless, it is a nice contribution by Systemless. 500th Post! I'm a Scorpion Pit  , sort of sounds like a bad thing.
  8. The three instanced Bounty Hunter areas :)
  9. Some people have been in a hotzone for half hour and got huge drops, while others have camped for 8 hours+ and received 100k loot. It's mostly luck, but a half hour is a must :)
  10. Use Help and Advice next time ;) But to answer your question, Jagex specifically stated that your drop potential can never decrease unless you kill someone risking at least 25k worth of items. So, your DP can build as much as you want, and will still be the same as it was a month ago if you don't kill anyone. Hope that helps :)
  11. This is some great discussion everyone! I think I should point out a technical note: if you disconnect with a gravestone on the ground, the grave will disappear (making it unblessable if not already) BUT THE ITEMS REMAIN for the amount of time they were supposed to ;). Examples: You die, 5 minute grave appears, nobody blesses. You log out, and log back in. Your grave is no longer blessable as it no longer exists but the items will remain for 5 more minutes. You die, someone blesses, you have an hour. You log out 20 minutes later and log back in. Your grave is gone but the items will remain for 40 minutes. I have first hand experience with that :P
  12. Mmk :D OT: This new B/W map seems to reveal the general layout a lot more than individual places, it's still very helpful. Thanks Systemless!
  13. I suppose it depends on your definition of successful. Without any communication, it would be difficult to get into a GWD team or something like that, but that is the team aspect of the game. There is the "solo" game, which is skilling and things like that, which may or may not be done with friends. The GE took out the personal interaction of trading, but really all that turned out to be was: "Buying item" "Selling item" "Ty" "Np" :? I think the Human interaction aspect of the game stays strong, with clans, monster teams, general chatting while skilling, etc. :)
  14. According to our PM conversation he found it somewhere on the internet awhile back which he archived. Now he's just posting what's on his computer. Idk if we should be discussing use of private servers/illegal activities on this thread, maybe you guys can take it to PM.
  15. Well I think it just encourages people to return to play more FoG. Kind of like stealing creation tools wearing out make people go back for more :D
  16. GRAW 2 is a great game ;) 7/10
  17. I agree, it needs multi-target attacks or just different styles. 20% of 1000 HP is 200, so the maximum hit of the spec is 200.

Another place is the Stronghold of Player Safety, you could train on the Cockroach workers (combat level in the 50s). They have some decent drops for their level too :)
  19. [/hide] By NO means am I criticizing your work, but I do think a little touch up on his right arm (the left as we look at him) needs to be done. It's where the other image touched his bracers. You can see the color (the gray) near the [bleep]es is different from the solid color that makes up most of the bracers (or vambraces...or whatever). EXCELLENT job and I'd have tried to help if I knew how to do it or how much work you put into it. Hehe, you are completely correct :P Sorry, when I previewed the image it seemed to blend in  And there is really no harm in correcting/improving, I'm not offended at all :D New Image below: General Graardor, ID: 988, Transparent EDIT: Forgot to post this image awhile back :P Alomone, ID: 251, Transparent Done by Cowman thanks
  20. If using Full Void Range + Range potions + prayer, I would estimate 200-250 experience per Red Chin used on Ape Atoll. Mummies don't have that wonderful respawn feature, and the ancient staff drops are very minimal and will only refund your costs by about 0.08% :P
  21. Well, the reason I asked what browser you were using is because some offer to disable parts of webpages that would otherwise make you lag (media objects, etc.). But you can also disable images and other things on TIF by going to User Control Panel -> Board Preferences -> Edit Display Options
  22. Escort players from other team and get them to kill those sons of [dogs of the female gender]. As a matter of fact, I think I'm going to go play Soul Wars just to see if I can kill any zeal-sucking leeches. Good luck, I wonder how great chins or Ice barrage would work there. :P
