  1. Heh, I remember doing that. If I was poisoned I would get to an abandoned tele spot ASAP :P ---- Edit: Lucky you, I could never find a team that would actually return my items :(
  2. Makes anything more interesting. I love that about them :D
  3. I remember the old days. Death meant a huge loss to a player, and a big jackpot for any bystanders. I would always take lots of food into any situation that I was unfamiliar with, careful not to lose the precious items I had worked for. But that was changed a little while back. Gravestones were added, to stop RWTing, but also make dying, in my opinion, negligible and laughable :? . A one-time 500k investment gives you a full five minutes to recover your items. 90% of the time I am able to get back with 1 minute to spare. The only times I have not been able to recover items is soloing at GWD. And then there is the whole concept of blessing and repairing, which gives players up to an hour to get back their items. Death in RuneScape used to be a serious and sad element, with "OMFG noo!!! " and "FFS!! :x " making up most people's thoughts when they were killed. Nowadays, when someone dies, you see: "Rofl. w/e  " "Lol. Lagg, brb." Death, to me, has become a joke and now people can risk 100m+ items with next to no fear of losing them. There are so few times these days where one can die, seriously, and have it impact their playing career. RISK VS. REWARD is supposed to be a key component of RuneScape, but it seems to me that the Risk is virtually nonexistent. Personally, I think graves let us get away with way too much. Death in RS seems like a big LOL thing now. I'm not suggesting that they should be changed, but I was wondering what you all thought. (The obvious positive is stopping RWT) Some exceptions, where graves won't help you: GWD Solo DKS Areas very far away from a tele spot (which are very few ;) ) Not sure if there was a similar thread, I didn't find anything.
  4. Hehe, it should go off the charts!

52 Summoning is a bonus, but I did it with 40 Agility before Summoning existed, was annoying but I made it through. Combat-wise, the quest will be very easy for you. Agility-wise, take 1-2 agility pots, 4-6 super energies. Drink agility before each obstacle, don't bother restocking if you run out. Only drink super energies when you need them most, don't waste them early on in the quest. In my opinion, save the super energies until you get to the big chasm area (with the souless + Iban + disciples). Good luck! :)
  6. An alternative is blackjacking, which I hear can be great XP/per hour (don't know the rates myself, I think there is a guide in the Guides forum with all the info you need). Blackjack the Bandits in Polli....(sp?) and at 65 you can blackjack the Menaphite bandits for some great xp. (Blackjacking involves knocking out the NPC, and pickpocketing twice before they wake up, small chance of failure to knock out, no chance of failure to pickpocket).
  7. The Expert boat is fastest with a 110+ clan, and not very efficient in the main PC worlds, since 75% of the players will be 100-105 and inexperienced, leading to a loss. Get 100 combat, and try finding a PC clan. You may find that the Novice boat is more efficient in the end with a 100-110 team.
  8. I think you get them by speaking to Historian Minas at Varrock Museum. Unless it didn't work and that;'s why you're asking, to which I don't know the answer :(
  9. Hmmm...I have no idea what that is, maybe a cube that contains the Gorak plane, I'll have to go there again myself. Nice job
  10. Yeah, good question, I think it's the outside of the Brimhaven Agility Arena, since that whole place is one big square. I think Brimhaven Dungeon is too far west.
  11. six slash ten period smiley
  12. Hilarious, nice job :D
  13. Another point: I have found that this is the primary cause of death at Tormented Demons, when they do this delayed attack and follow with an immediate attack, which can lead to a 26-26 KO (if the player wasn't at a high HP level). Also, it can be highly dangerous if more than one demon does it at once, and you do not protect in time, as this can lead to at most a 26-26-26 hit.
  14. 20,000gp drop on the dot, a rare sight :D. But I think the Ahrims is more funny
  15. All the time in General/Debates/Rants ;) 9/10
  16. Dark Beast Lair and Underground Pass both lie under the Arandar Mountains, but the lair is partly under West Ardougne, while the Pass is far more to the west of the city. If you look at it from below too, that part of the Pass should lie west of the Temple of Light, which lies west of the Lair. Exactly what I would have said :) Seems to me that all parts of the Pass are next to each other, rather than underneath or above. Of course, we have the possibility that the Pass is in the correct place, and the Dark Beasts are not :o Drazhaar44, great ideas, if only I didn't have a quest cape
  17. Gavati, thanks, a picture was submitted earlier. It makes spatial sense, but doesn't make any sense (level-wise, since the waterfall is high up). I will re-upload that picture ;) Is the new fairy ring you're talking about the one to Yu'buisk? After a thorough exploration of West Ardougne and what is underneath it, I feel that the picture taken from the Rat Pits is not of anything in Ardougne (also, the Varrock and Port Sarim Rat Pits are not under their respective cities, but also off map) I found some interesting things in the Dark Beast Lair, the Underground Pass is not where it should be ;)
  18. Never seen you anywhere but here. 3/10 TIF 10/10 This thread :P
  19. I'm going to split the picture list into Logical and Illogical sections right now.
  20. Thanks, I'm not sure you saw the post before you though ;)
