Dungeoneering: Bindery
Primal legs in addition to primal plate? I'm VERY doubtful of that figure, further considering legs have the same strengths as plate(and you barely get hit by melee or range with plate). Also, good luck maging with prim plate+legs. Also, before you can get your hands on great offensive binds(like HHB, blood neck) you could bind cele staff to be more effective maging, that is, assuming, you are fine with the damage you are taking(and it takes skill to not use much food no-arming, alot of soul splitting). Not halfing the damage compared to plate, half the damage in addition, so you'll take half the damage you would have with neither of them.

That should be obvious...to be able to access it in the future. There is a reason the best clans don't let in just anyone.

The Bind System
Binds. Some of us in DG have more then others. But is the flat out "you may bind 2 items at this level" good enough? Should there be different types of binds? Tool binds, jewelry binds, armor binds, minor binds, slayer binds, etc? Would changing the system be a chance to give items which are rarely bound or used, or would it be too confusing, or overpower/underpower things? Example, at 105, you could bind 3 items and a slayer item (SSH, BN, ETC) OR you could use one of your "any" item binds to bind SSH, and your slayer bind to bind golden prec. or blood neck. Tool binds could either be tool kit, to speed things up, or maybe a pickaxe/axe/NON-combat runes (100 astrals, law, cosmics, a new type of rune combining all 3) etc. Also, there is a rumor of a new quest enabling another bind. Does anyone have any proof or speculations to make? In addition, what about requiring tokens to enable certain additional binds?

We are there already. Blame dungeoneeering for this. Its really brought the worst part of WOW to rs. (the freakin balogna community) Just read the "pro" thread and join their l2dung clan. Sadly, its not just rushers who are assclowns. I joined a non-rush group this weekend and was scolded for wasting the prom ore to make a plate over a chain. It was truely laughable because their were a ton of untouched rocks. Needless to say I alched every damn ore & chain they threw on the home floor before they could boot me. The only good news is that the elistists are trying to break off. Maybe they can start up their own clown site. WAIT, so, you got pissed off, and instead of acting mature, and trying to help anyway (Since people will always get on your nerves at some time in life) you were an ass, and you are SURPRISED? hmm

Dungeoneering: Bindery
Well i can't imagine HHB being worth it without good arrows, otherwise it'd just be an average bow. Also, the only other ammo bind really worth it would be surgebox, and switching between 3 classes just isn't as efficient(and you can only use ring for two of those classes). Also, as you are saying you couldn't imagine a better setup, considering that you'd get a 4th bind for a quest and 5th for 120(assuming you get there), what would you bind? Defensive binds are mostly selfish and don't help the team out alot, where as offensive binds are geared toward being more useful for your team. Most people who have the same same setup as you(i think it's the most common setup at 100-113 right now) have already loaded their bind list with defensive binds(2/3) so from there on, binding primal legs/skirt would just be ridiculous. According to Andrews_calcs, primal legs reduce damage by roughly half of what you would have taken w/o them, while BN speeds up a floor by at most 1 minute, and factoring in food saved which can be shared, etc. It seems to be more a matter of preference then any real "help"

Dungeoneering: Bindery
I have primal plate, 2h, and SSH. Can't imagine a better setup really except maybe HHB. Now I'm more curious about ammo binds. If you have HHB are sag arrows always best?

[bleep]ing manipulator scumbag mother[bleep]ing [bleep]s. Why can't Jagex ban these [bleep]ing [wagon]? This doesn't personally affect me because I don't consume brews at a regular rate, but the premise of raising something that is very commonly used from around 6k each to 14k each (over DOUBLE its price) is [bleep]ing ludicrous. EVERYBODY suffers just so some greedy [bleep]ing back-stabbing nerds can make bank. [bleep] Jagex for making a system as fatally flawed as the GE and [bleep] these scumbags for taking advantage of it. Its not against the rules, and I personally don't have any problem with it, from a moral/right or wrong standpoint. Sure it may annoy me if I can't get something I'm trying, but its the system that is flawed that is the problem.

Exclusive Content
If you read the original post two things would have been apparent: 1.) Not all what you call "grinding" is grinding to everyone 2.) A fitting reward makes training more enjoyable, at least in my case. When I was going for 83 slayer, the thought of d boots kept me motivated, and made training LESS of a grind, and more fun. Part of what makes DG fun, even after 99, is the thought of that hawt 120 cape, my 4th bind, and primal 2h at 113. See what I mean? I play RS to set, and achieve goals. "Where there is no vision, the people perish" is my RS motto. When I have a goal(s) I "work" quite hard on them. When I have no goal, RS gets boring to me VERY quick. But I need a reason to train skills, earn cash, etc.

Why, exactly? Normally, symbiosis works far better then altruism.- Exclusive Content
What in the hell does that mean? It means that the people that don't have access to whatever content don't want to work for it like the ones that do have access to it. Theres such a thing as too much grind, and when there is too much grind between content, then it becomes detrimental to gameplay. Jagex gave themselves quite a job when they made each skill go up to 99 (with most skills taking anywhere from 100-260+ hours to get to that level), and now have to fill it in so that the people don't complain... More specifically the high levels who went straight for the 260 hours of grind and are now complaining about not being rewarded for it. But who is to draw the line of demarcation between too much and too little. After all, this is a game, which no one makes you play. If you don't want to train, no one is MAKING you train. That's my point. Some people enjoy what you call "grinding" (minergoo is at 122m wcing xp, for instance)- Stone's Blog (False Ban)

Yes. Feel free to flame everyone that moves. Especially Obt. SMFD PMODS ARE [bleep]S@@@@- What happened to this community?
I don't troll, I take apart arguments which are either faulty or wrong to begin with. If you don't understand the difference, that is not my fault. I'm blunt, and honest, but I don't try to make trouble, whereas a trolls solo purpose is to cause dissent.- What happened to this community?
Bull [cabbage]. I've seen it time and time again. That you are blind to it is even worse. PM does nothing, so people take it to the board, as they should. Its tantamount to the right to "peacefully protest the gov't for redress of grievances".- What happened to this community?
Do you honestly feel that my claims are off the mark, unfair, or unwarranted? I think this your post here is what you'd term "Baiting", right? There's nothing coincidental about my statement. Folks like yourself are simply not called on the carpet despite the fact that you continually look for threads to sour and people to upset. There is also nothing ironic about my statement. Would you like me to take fifteen minutes to search the archives for the plentiful examples of TIF trolls needlessly assaulting posters simply trying to add their honest input? -Edit- Obtauran, the fact that you jumped on to further incite flames only cements my point. No, its what I honestly felt, and I said it. Many of the people who honestly break rules, or post ignorant stuff and then get mad when called on it are staff, or friends of staff. To my knowledge, the staff has NEVER changed their mind on anything, without either extreme public pressure, or something similar.- What happened to this community?
Interesting stance, considering that this statement is far more "attacking" then most of what any of the people you call "elitist" use. Oh the irony? Ya see, based on some of your posts, I'd consider you more a troll then almost anyone on this board, save two other people. Its all a matter of perspective, something which you should learn.- 3rd Age/Spirit shields/Phats Discussion
