So lets see, i have +379 range defense, 20% range soak over 200, and an additional 30% damage soak from divine, and since I normally tanked supreme anyways, this is going to make DKS OMFG. At least, I hope.

I believe its possible. I have average luck at TDS, great luck @ dks, and horrible luck at barrows (400+ chests 5 items) and terrible luck at corp seen 1 sigil in hundreds of hours.

Its actually a moot point. I don't play enough to ever become a player with a one-of-a-kind skill leve, either first to 99, 120, etc. For the record, I've been called a botter, as well as a no-lifer. I just ignores those players. Seriously, there are too damn many over-sensitive people on this game. Why should I care what haters say?

...is true... How would you feel about your hard earned 99 ranks that were suddenly bot-able? Technology does not stand still, and eventually every aspect we currently know of RS will be bot-able... Wouldn't care. I don't play for others. If 20k people botted 120 DG tommorow, I would still get it.

Maybe to some people. But like I said, for me personally, I don't care if someone botted. I didn't grind any of my 99's just to have a 99.

Like 500k people have 99 wc already, so its not like it devalues your "achievement". I don't bot, but I wouldn't care if my friends did. It still does devalue your achievement, regardless of how many people have level 99. It also does have a big impact on the economy if there are enough bots. I referenced skills such as WCing ivy, etc, which have a zero impact, pretty much. Like I said, any skill worth caring about rank is one which can't be botted already, so I don't care who bots. I really don't care if I'm 50k in cooking or 500k. This is my personal opinion. Botting doesn't hurt me, or help me, so I just don't care about it.

Somethings can. Those both assume ability to pay enough attention to RS. There are times where I NEED to do things IRL, so I can WC ivy, or not be on at all. Then, ivy are the most efficient.

If it can be proven that something is better, no matter what your opinion is, you won't change the fact that one item is better. Your opinion may be that CLS>CR for slayer 100%, but if its proven that its wrong, your opinion is wrong. If you want to say others can't do something (*cough* make 4m gp/hr *cough*) then try to disprove them, and not by doing their method in the worst way, that doesn't prove anything.

You are either solo maging or doing something like running upstairs and coming down just to kill sup if you aren't getting hit much. If you are 2.5brid, you are tanking sup, and if you are maging, you don't need a whip. Balmung sucks. Whip+obby shield is decent, DFS is better, and ely/divine is best. BSS has too low range def for hybrid, but is fine for solo mage, especially if you are praying mage 100%.

I would argue adversely. There are people here who have admitted to staying in the game for as long as they have because of fan sites. That is part of the user base of Runescape. Therefore, the game would have less users if it wasn't for Fan sites. It is the extent of this the thread is about. Again, if you don't want to discuss that extent, but want to belittle the thread on a whole, you may as well not post (although there is not much chance in that happening is there?) About as much chance as you posting a reasoned argument against what I had to say, I s'pose. However, if we are to delve into the realms of the asinine, I'd have to say yes. No clue as to the size, doubt it'd matter much, but it sure as hell isn't TIF that keeps my playing RS. This topic could have merit, you just need to actually say what you are trying to get at in a thought-out way. Do you mean if there were no none-external (Outside RS) peer to peer contact, or do you just mean no forums, or do you mean just no fansites, but forums? Do you mean no clans, as those aren't fansites? What do you mean? Without knowing that, everyone will be basing their answer on different thoughts, one might think "ok, that means no fansites, but forums and clans" Others "Ok no fansites or forums, no clans, but then they'd move to IRC and have far more YT or audio guides". This is why, in debate, one needs to have a very well thought out resolution, or else confusion ensues. Example, the resolution "Resolved: The United States Gov't should be less involved in people's daily lives" would be horrendous. What does it mean? A better resolution would be "Resolved: The U.S Gov't should in no instance be able to see a U.S citizen's medical records without either requesting gov't aid in medical care, in any form, or by said citizen's express permission, or a court issued warrent" That actually gives the grounds for what you are trying to talk about!

So much butt-hurt... Hey did you know spending time wisely has nothing to do with efficiency? Efficiency is all about banking on ones ego. Its dreaming up xp rates, working 9/5 for boss drops, preaching baseless spreadsheets, and telling everybody else they are stupid if they don't follow suite. And if you run out of money or somebody calls you out, just quit.
