  1. You should try solo 2.5-brid... it's a fair bit more profitable. This. And you have more seers/mud staffs in those kills then I've had in over 5 THOUSAND dag king kills.
  2. I believe Ts's point is that if it werent for the bots it would be.... actually it would probably be very much so. You couldn't be more wrong, for the very simple fact that many, if not most, smithing and fletching finished products are alched, which ties the price of the finished item to a rather narrow margin. Thus, mining ores and cutting logs won't go above a certain peak, which isn't even double what it currently is. Thus, mining and Wcing will always suck as a real moneymaker. To the above, I think you are playing the wrong game if you find so much of RS boring. Personally, I just don't train skills I find boring anymore, unless I get in the mood for them.
  3. Compared to IRL, not at all, unless its something like how much faster my typing has gotten lol. In RS, I am better then most other 'scapers, its just a fact, at least as far as knowledge, gear, stats, and ability are concerned. So no, not really. In order for that to happen I'd need to have like a 10b bank and be maxed everything. But as of right now, I'm richer then most of my friends, but several of them are maxed, or almost maxed, and quite a few others are quite a bit higher in stats then I am. So no it doesn't.
  4. The EEE uses a full spec bar. SGS uses half, therefore an average hit of 401+ with SGS makes the SGS better for healing, on average. And it restores prayer; it still has it's uses, few as it may be. In fact, at Sara mages it WOULD be more useful if your praying to not take damage. Or Zamorak mages for that matter. If you need a Saradomin item to kill mages, you're doing it wrong (should be killing zammy mages) I find that offensive and arrogant. If someone chooses to kill Sara mages, why not? Why is one "right" and one "wrong"? A person can bloody well kill whatever they can kill in RS. Sure, but the most efficient way is the "right" way, any other way is either the ill informed, stubborn, or "fun" way.
  5. GF cr? Not trying to be mean but he even said back to slayer. Cr cannot be re-obtained through slayer lol. Illogical. You are assuming that he is going to try to get back cr, if that were what he had lost. I just didn't see the text on top of the picture.
  6. I like being in the top, but after 99, unless I enjoy it, I won't try too hard.
  7. I might do the other ones you listed later when I have time. Right now, I have to go to bed :-) Well you do sleep a lot. BTW BeD looks like a bed. o.0 Sorry, I couldn't resist.
  8. I'm like 1.3k+ mvelds w/o an effigy, so I really doubt it its anywhere near 1-270. 1-700 actually sounds about right, similar to their DR of d meds.
  9. KQ's range pray works the same as protection prayers in PvP, then only block some of the damage, instead of all, as TD's prayer does.
  10. not necessarily for supreme. SGS on supreme is useful in that it, depending on how fast you brew, or if you're using sharks, can save you an attack turn that you otherwise would have spent eating. this is what makes sgs's offense capabilities so unique: it's an accurate, powerful hit that also heals you. however, you need your opponent to have relatively low defense for this to work out reliably. that's what i meant. Apples and oranges here. You are comparing SGS to EEE healing, but using SGS vs Food. In other words, you can't use the argument that you are losing an attack turn by eating food when EEE IS USED BETWEEN SPECS. Its an illogical argument. SGS will always lose 3 rounds for whip/CR. EEE won't. Therefore that argument doesn't factor in to deciding whether EEE or SGS is better, but would work if comparing healing with say sharks, brews, or SGS. And if you are overloading on supreme you are doing it wrong. You should easily be able to time them so that either: 1.) Prime is dead when they run out 2.) You are maging rex when overload runs out 3.) Supreme is almost dead, and you just overload after supreme dies. 4.) Just run out of the lair, and sneak away so prime isn't on you (only if new to DKS really)
  11. This. Smithing, crafting, and fletching are all tied, in large part, to alchemy prices. Same for some dragon items (D meds alch for what, 60k, close to GE price)
  12. Ye, it was a good article, far superior to the past few weeks. Good job storm! I disagreed on a few small points, but with an economy as complex as RS', its hard to get people to agree on everything. My one main disagreement is with the economy is fine. I believe the ECONOMY itself is fine, the main problem is the GE, which doesn't reflect items real prices quickly enough, (or ever in the case of phats etc). A stagnant economy is far worse then a dynamic one. As well, I'd like to point out that although Daemonheim changes the economy by people not gathering stuff, or making things, but also consider: 1.) Recharge costs (minimal) 2.) Increased speeds later "farming" bosses/monsters.
  13. Kalphies are slow. They spawn mega slow even on 2k pop world. Greaters are crap xp and too spread out.
  14. Nechs, with a steel titan, are very fast. But ye, can't cannon, and getting to them is a pain. Profit is up now, since rune boots and torstol seeds are worth more, but still.
  15. When that happens, it will shoot up 50-100m in GE, then become buyable, and drop down to around 90% of current price, over a few months. That is my speculation. Sounds about right. It's basically the same as what Dclaws were, except over a period of two years nearly Ye, except dclaws were far more common, and as such made the transition far more quickly.
  16. Define worth. Apologies, I shouldn't have been so vague. I mean worth as in value for money. You'd still be wrong. You assume everyone values money, skills, and items the same, when they don't. I value items over useless skills, and items over money.
  17. Define worth.
  18. fury protects over rapier, so i'm not going to use it lol Ah.
  19. You know a great thing about science? It isn't science unless it can be proven wrong so... Get 120 DG. Get 4 other 120 dungeoneers to do c1 5:1's with you. Be as effective as you can be.... PROVE HIM WRONG(or right). BUT, don't just go and **** out of your mouth(it's actually his quote, rephrased though). This. He always calls BS, but, unlike others, can't prove anything. BTW Gio, do you believe the earth is flat?
  20. It hits between 50-150% of the max normal hit. Personally, I think this is a good idea.
  21. By the maxim, an object is only worth what a buyer will pay, yes, they always have been worth their price.
  22. Why the Veracs? Shouldn't you be wearing Bandos? well verac is still faily high def but id offers about 10 more prayer bonus With my bandos setup I have +25 prayer, and am risking 27m. And bacon, it should perhaps say "pair", but then again, you'd don't get a pair of dragon boots either.
  23. Lol almost exact same setup as me, although I've been using claws instead of EEE, and I switch out 2 brews for spec restore pots. And HC seemed worse then diamond (e) bolts, with void and overloads. Is it really better? I might need to try it out some more. GL too :P i got bad internet :x lags much thats y i take 4 brews & also HC has really crazy hits +400 mostly thx mate!! & yup maybe :3 Diamond (e) hit 400+ too, is my point.
