  1. the point is, that the subpercents ur talking about, aren't visible, and are not recognized by marmaros the repair man. Ye, but that doesn't mean they aren't existent.
  2. Trying to see if you could fail to 1hit a chicken with the C maul? You succeeded  Ye, that was first hit ever w/ cmaul. Epic win?
  3. I'm too lazy to make blog on tif so i takeover this blawg k bow next
  4. HAHAHA oh WOW! As I said earlier in this thread, there are VERY few items in the game that look noobier than an untrimmed cooking/fletching/wc cape on a level 90. That's not the way to get respect, kids. Work on something that will benefit you and the 99s will come. ok then dady, cmon are you serious Yes. Dead srs.
  5. Its called emergent gameplay. I doubt jagex intended the yak to be used as a tool to make overloads faster (especially convenient when boosting the level). Or for conquest/MA to be boosted. Or any other instance in which the player thinks of a way to, within the rules, use something "outside the box". Simple as that. And the point is more that Jagex seems to know SO little about how their players play the game, then anything else. I have NO doubt that, even with the same gear, I could outkill any J-mod at TD's, or DKS. An example of a real bug that needs fixing is continuing to get the 10 second countdown after you die in PvP, and having it closeout your bank, or the numerous cores @ corp in FFA, or not being able to type into your note section when in combat. Have you sent bug reports about them? There was sarcasm there in "bug". Those are no more bugs then what jagex fixed, and yet they are actually something which slows one down, and are quite annoying. It would seem Jagex hates emergent gameplay. BTW: Jagex doesn't do anything about bug reports. Years later I still know some not fixed.
  6. nah, for example: If you fight for a few second with a chaotic weapon. There is a chance your weapon will still be at 100% even after the fighting is over. I believe chaotic weapons immediately start degrading the moment you enter combat. There are a few possibilities. There could be an invisible timer that is not correlated to the status on your weapon (like crystal bow/shield) and after a set amount of events, the item degrades a notch. Or it could be like a farming timer, and every few minutes, the game checks to see if you're using a chaotic weapon in combat. If you are then it degrades it 1%. The latter seems unlikely, since chaotic weapons degrade 3-4% per hour. That would be 1 check every 15-20 minutes. Which is kinda ridiculous. honestly can't say for sure how exactly they degrade til jagex leaks. Except the % marker isn't the ONLY timer, perhaps. EG, it could be divided each percent into 100 units. I WASn't talking about 1 wield=1%.
  7. I've collected slightly more data on the matter, and a chaotic crossbow at frost dragons (after the multiple dragons attacking you at once patch) degrades at about 75k gp/hour I said 60k/hr earlier, but my data pool wasnt quite as large as it is now. the degrading system works a little different from barrows for example It doesn't degrade instantly when you enter combat. Perhaps it is degrading in secret, like a crystal bow, before dropping another % The exact mechanics aren't know. The degrading rate might actually not be a steady rate. I'm curious if it is anything like PvP weapons, where wielding and using even 1 attack = 1 minute.

Can't J-Mod carry infinite food or something? I seem to remember a vid of a J-Mod fighting the Corporeal Beast in bronze armor. If the J-Mod is on a normal account, sure, but I don't think you can out kill someone with infinite healing. :D They may be able to heal more, but that doesn't matter. @ TDs unicorn is all I need. @ DKS I have a yak. I run out of overloads first. Yea. But eventually you'll run out of unicorns. You can only carry so many unicorns, infinite is infinite. Also, seeing as we know J Mods can also set their own stats, I don't think it's at all impossible for a J Mod to give himself 255 all skills. So you're up against infinite food and Stone of Jas stats with whatever gear he wants. I don't think you can win that no matter how much better you are at it. J Mods are pretty much in debug mode so they can do whatever is possible for us players with a command and more. That is true, I was talking about even stats and gear though lol. Unless they gave me SoJ stats too...

  11. Ye, ring is where the value is, and its considerably lower then normal. As well, with nothing to trade it for/junk, the ring will do you nothing.
  12. Gear: Verac pl8/skirt/helm Fury->stole->glory Infinity->mystic boots Void mace->guthix wand thingy DFS->obby shield->BSS Guthix cape Rol (for first few times) You should pray mage 100%. Super EE/bunyip help, but at least use a BoB. Use super restores/brews/pray pots. Bring 1-2 rocktails. Bring charge runes.
  13. Wait until you are 12+ tasks dry... As well as 11 tasks dry at ISW.
  14. off to everyone.
  15. Not "Worth it" in the sense that most won't pay for themselves, but its up to you. I got 99 attack as my first to 1.) have a nice 99 2.) the cape 3.) in the course of slaying. Some of my others, such as prayer were done mainly for the cape, combat level, and bonuses. Summoning was largely for steel titan, the charms all slayed. Slayer was enjoyment. Same will be for DG, as well as the weapons. Firemaking was just to finish it off. I've been within a day/week worth of several 99's for 6+ months now, I just don't bother getting them quickly.
  16. Green098 is nice, but she's kinda slow lol. And oh lol thought the drop log was showing those last 20'ish drops in a row, meaning bcp+boots+tassies like all close together.
  17. I [bleep]ing hate you. Took me 160+ kills for 1 bandos drop lol.
  18. Hardly, I've apologized in the past. This is not one of those times. My point was again missed: That more is expected of staff/people in an upward position then normal users, just like one would expect more of a boss then an employee, as far as decorum.
  19. It was an illustration. No illustration will fit any situation perfectly. That is all. You, once again, read into things, and missed the point. I would also like to point out several things: 1.) I'd expect more from a member of the staff then from any other user, especially in refraining from the same conduct which they are accusing others of. 2.) The ONLY VOLUNTEERS excuse is just an excuse. Ask others if you need articles, or don't publish a poor article. As someone who has done volunteer work numerous times, that excuse doesn't normally hold much water. But the point is accepted, although I disagree with it.
  20. And you are deciding to what point I should carry out my criticism. Convoluted? I don't like Obama, I think he is ruining America in several ways, and I don't ONLY criticize his policies. I criticize the man as well. Yaknow what? He does the same to others, (Limbaugh, etc) If you want to know about my political views, however, PM me. One may not like my personal criticism, and as I've said at times I've carried it too far, yet I still stand 100% behind my expressed views. I don't think Racheya is a good author. That is my OPINION. I then gave my REASONS for why I think her ARTICLE was bad. In this case, I think Storm just had a flopped article. You may do the same to me, as you have already.
  21. Basically confirms everything that I've ever thought about the developers. So you cant make-x with BoBs anymore? Are you [bleep]ing kidding me Jagex? I have an assload of d bones left to do how dare you -.- "I didn't know people were training like that." Shows how much Jagex knows about how to play their own game :wall: This. Sums up WTF jagex knows about RS. Way to blow jagex. Way to blow.
  22. That would make as much sense as a dragon platebody being a mage's item. I'd be for the idea of it giving mage/range bonus when within melee range of a monster.
