  1. I can see the rants... "z0mg K0 by train!!!1!" "Trains Overpowered!!!!" Maybe you shouldn't be able to stand on the tracks. And thanks for the support! Well, it could be made that anyone standing in the tracks that gets hit is teleported to somewhere such as Port Sarim (Oh no! You get hit by the train and end up flying! However, you land at Port Sarim, magically unharmed). So that's RS's first stupid and suicidal teleport. If it killed, that's a new way of luring (Lure into the tracks, then SPLAT! Would be awfully funny the lurer getting killed too.) I made it so you cannot stand on the tracks, but able to jump over them when a train isn't nearby. Problem solved. :

  3. It can't be underground, because then people wouldn't be able to jump from the train. That's to use, if say, you were riding a train from Draynor to Rimmington, and you needed to get to the mine, you could jump off next to the mine, fill up on ores, head back to the train at Rimmington to take you back to the bank. Again, why would it need to go to most of those member areas? Members aren't going to need this update as they already have far more methods of transportation. The reason I added Ardougne and Seers Village to the list is to throw in something for members. F2P needs this more as a means of mass transit.
  4. About lag.... Lag occurs when many players are all jammed into one area. The trains would spread out the Runescape population, so lag won't be much of a problem. I'll also take this as a support.
  5. Yes, but you don't actually get to see the entire ride on the train. I can see this update, were it implemented, being a try it and drop it, one of those things where people try it once, say "nice concept, but too inconvenient", then stop using it creating a barren wasteland wherever the update was. Trains, if made somewhat similar to real life, would be too resource consuming to make them a useful form of transportation, as opposed to say teleportation which works fine. I'm sure that the high demand for food in F2P would keep people using the trains, especially from Port Sarim to Draynor. And the skillers don't want to raise their magic to teleport. Some non-magic pures may also like this update because the track runs from Lumbridge to Edgeville, giving them a quick and cheap ticket to the Wilderness.
  6. Good point... Lemme fix that.
  7. Nobody really uses the coal mining facility... for a good reason. It only moves coal and its use is very limited. Is that a support or a non-support?

  10. Probably the best way to solve this is by relocating the official clan chat to someone who uses the game frequently, so the spammers can be added to the owner's ignore list. Simple.
  11. Pure #1: Hop to world 106. Pure #2: Noob! Noob, noob nooby noob noob. Pure #1: ? Pure #2: Noober nub noob noob? Nooob nub! *Pure #1 Kills #2 for being stupid* Pure #2 (On Pm): Noob! Noob! noober noob nub!
  12. How about snowballs to throw at other players?
  13. I feel the same way. I had a charcoal collection, (an item tradeable in f2p but only obtainable by members) and now, there's no way I can get them anymore. However, it does feel better that charcoal is much harder to get in f2p. It's like possessing a bunch of untradeable discontinued items.
  14. One fun thing I'm going to do is if I see a raw chicken for 500m, I'll make another trade with that same cost and item. Hopefully the main will accidentally buy mine, and I get R1ch0rz0rz!!!!!11
  15. You might have to describe what exactly the bugs did so I may add them.
  16. This suggestion is based upon the fact that many people have to go through the trouble of offering a large Bank Sale in a trade, only to have the other person decline, not buy anything, and it repeats, over and over. So, why not have the other player view the items at one command? It would look like this: Walk here- PlayerX Follow- PlayerX Trade- PlayerX Req. Assist.- PlayerX View inventory- PlayerX PlayerY wishes to view your inventory. Sending response... PlayerY is currently viewing your inventory. |-----------------------PlayerX's Inventory-----------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------------------| |----------------------------------------------------------------_______-| |---------------------------------------------------------------|X|Close| -| While viewing, the players may only see the pictures of the items, their names, and be able to examine them. The viewer would also see any items that leave or enter the inventory. Also, at the bottom of the screen, the player whose inventory is being viewed would be able to close the other player's view window. If the viewer is on the other person's ignore list, their requests will be blocked. I hoped you enjoy reading my short but convenient suggestion.
  17. I am a free player, and I am flamed, just like most free players. I don't really deserve it because I don't beg, use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation. I also follow all of the Jagex rules. When I sometimes attempt to sell things to members by Pming them when they make posts on the forums, I usually get this: "Hi, you made a thread about buying a rune warhammer for 60k?" "Ye" (Notice the incorrect spelling) "Ok, I'd like to sell you one." "Ok my wrldf seers" "Sorry, I'm a free player." "0mfg u fre playe rnubsd r botsx" *Member adds me to Ignore* I tried to sell him an item he wanted, but he turned it down and added me to ignore simply because he had to go to a free to play world to get it. I have a group of friends that are members, and they aren't losers. It is very uncommon to find a free player that doesn't act like an 8 year old, and in members it's only slightly different. You see all of the spam on the forums, (Done by members) the begging on the forums, (Done by members) and the bad English on the forums. (Again, done by members.) And the members who think that all f2ps are bots, look at the flax field and say that again. But, I'm not saying that all members are like this. I'm just saying that the members who think that every free player is a bot or noob is a hippocrite.
  18. They really didn't have magic in the middle ages either. PWNTATOES! GO. BACK. TO. RSOF. Seriously. Ok? Look, if you're just going to flame my thread instead of making legitimate posts, then why don't YOU??!! :-k :x
