  1. Personally, I worship Saradomin in IRL. No different from praying to "Jesus". Some prayers get answered, some don't. Me, I worship Guthix IRL. Always take the middle path, never either of the two extrememes.
  2. there are more than just "Pagan" references in Runescape, if you'd just pay attention....
  3. So thieving is more work than firemaking? Isn't that a little silly? Considering that thieving is faster to get to 99. I don't know how you think of "buying" skills, but you don't just pay a genie 110m gp and instantly get 99 prayer. it may be faster...in some ways, but at least you didn't "cheat" your way by buying a bunch of logs to burn. no, what you do is BUY BONES to get to lvl 99! doh!
  4. Even if you have the money to buy the runes/logs/range supplies/ herblore supplies, those skills are still not as honerable as a skill that you CAN'T buy. (i.e. slayer, summoning, farming, theiving) you are going to work hard for those mentioned skills no matter what you do. When I see one of those skill capes, it makes me want to applause. =D> =D> =D>
  5. why not take it a step further: 1) chop as many yews as you have the patience for 2) sell them at the G.E. for any price 3) buy WILLOWS at maximum price. you'd get alot more firemaking exp. bang for your buck.
  6. not exactly. the highest shade requires that you burn them with magic pyre logs. when you do, you get the rarer silver keys and have a slightly better chance of getting the better reward. I would train my firemaking to 85 then forget about for awhile...
  7. 200mill exp in one skill is insane. who do you think you are, some no-lifer like Peter Zezima? I mean, just get the minimum to get to level 99 and then move on. also, buy a party hat
  8. they changed it again. now I have no group of topics that I replied to listed. :( the navigation of the topic pages is in grey against a white background. to hard too see. :( my avatar got deleted in the process :( on the plus side, there is extra features that I'd like to find a way to use. :)
  9. well you have to "buy" combat too...you buy the weapons and armor...you buy the food or take the time to fish/make the food...you buy other supplies for combat. its only a crap skill to you because you're just a clueless noob that didn't take five seconds out of your pathetic gaming to find out how usefull the skill can actually be.
  10. I love the new user control panel! It keeps track of all the posts I've made. good job!
  11. possibly a rare drop from the new Adamant Dragons that are yet to be released......
  12. wrong! the best spot to train Oaks and willows will always be Draynor Bank. Next to the bank is an Oak Tree and a little to the south are five willow trees. Its always crowded there in free-land. Members....not so much.
  13. So far Duradel has given me the best charm droppers in the game (no Giant rock crab/lobsters, sorry). The only time I switch to Burthorpe is when I get Spirtual warriors and rangers. I hate God War dungeon!
  14. Mossies. That little isle west of brimhaven. Take a boat from Ardrounge the go west. Swing across rope swing. 2 slices of cake respawns there. hobgoblines south of crafting guild. 3 snape grass respawns for prayer potions. chaos druids. anywhere. Unlock the herblore skill in Taverly first.
  15. who said you had to get them from fire giants? If you had done a little more slaying you would have found out you can get the charms from lvl 28 kalphite workers.
  16. you can make money from the secondary skills, like have a summoned thorny snail hold an extra fish to take to the bank. Take them into a multicombat dungeon to help fight with you, that'll cut down on fight times. And, like I said in another thread, sell the raw materials to make the pouches to other players at a profit.
  17. summoning can actually be profitable if you sell the materials to make the pouches (like the wolf bones and raw chicken) to other players. make sure your selling for more than what you paid for them though.
  18. I visit the forums only when a new topic is discussed that interests me. I spend the rest of my time actually playing runescape instead of talking about it.
  19. It's because Green Masks are more in demand than Santas. it's called the Law of Supply and Demand.
  20. that's up to you. Either you got lucky and was around for the santa hat drop, or you spent a ton of money on one. I'd advise thinking it over a very long time about what you do with it. The choice is yours.
  21. I think you are missing some big concepts here. You're talking about rules that people are breaking? He's talking about trying to live. Incase you don't get the big picture here, most adults can easily make $200 in a day. Not $180 in a month. Breaking rules isn't the big ussue here. I think you're missing the point. the gold farmer needs to go find a better job and stop killing Runescape. ...Either that or start playing Second Life, where not only is farming allowed, it is encouraged (linden exchange: 400 lindens to a real dollar, for example)
  22. I don't play the game for rares. I play the game for fun. Many people that play Runescape really need to LIGHTEN UP.
  23. Well, if you see Jagex as the enemy and hate what they did to their code, then stop playing the game. Go play Adventure Quest or something else. It's as simple as that.
  24. I'm with you on this one! I didn't get my fletching up to 70+ just because it looks cool. (well, ok not the ONLY reason). With 75 fletching and 60 woodcutting, your only cost is the nature runes. high alching yew longs is still my #1 moneymaker....with crafting blue hides a close second. ...now that I think about, I should get back to making greenhide sets, since jagex foo-barred up the wildy.
  25. I've been playing since late 2004.... There were defenitly less immature kids on runescape. Miniclip did bring a huge influx of clueless noobs that will insult you for whatever stupid reason they can think of. my advice: put the children (and the adults that act worse than children) on ignore, report website advertisers, account sellers, and people that say "fak you biach". Talk to your friends and people with a shred of dignity and respect. most of all, play a few hours and go do something that doesnt involve a computer (besides eat and sleeping).
