Unfortunatly this stuff does happen all the time which is a shame. And since this is an old video and the guy who beat him up now runs his own dojo I wouldn't think any action was actually taken. I remember a story a little while ago about how a family was detained at the air port because their one or two year old baby was on the no fly list :thumbsup: Ya the system is messed up if you have that much info as to whether or not a person is a terrorist you should have enough info to arrest him. I don't actually own any heavy guns just a pellet and paintball. I would get a rifle if i could but i havn't found a shooting range thats within a decent drive and the darn noise laws out here make it impossible for me to actually shoot one :thumbdown: i do love shooting though and actually went to the asistant rifle coach training camp that is offered through the air cadets here in canada so i'm actually qualififed to help rifle coaches when they train shooters :thumbsup: Just so ticked at that course though because for the final marksmenship test i got the 2nd highest award... i was 1 bloody mm away with my last shot before getting #1 :thumbdown: would love to try it again but to old for air cadets now :(

What i hate about arguments like this is that they are just to generalised. Right now we are having a mature debate, on a MMORPG fan site. Not only that but most of us would never have found out about this site without first playing an online game. So some good can come of online gaming as people seek out a more mature group. And not only that but what about reading the fantasy genre? It is almost the same thing as online gaming but with even less social interaction and even less movement, and is only actually there for entertainment. Not learning. So why is it that it is not viewed in the same light as T.V. and the internet?

Without actually reading the book this statement pops out. If they only interviewed people for who the 10k hour rule worked and did not take a random sample of people then the book is completly biased and not scientific at all.

Actually, that's just not true. Read the book, and you'll understand. :\ I tried to explain it the best I could. Everyone learns at a different pace no matter what that book says. I'm a swimming instructor and i get kids who can swim like a fish after the first day of lessons, and others who won't actually even get in the water. If a subject interests them it might take them 10k hours to master it. but if you try to teach someone who loves the arctic to love the desert you are probably not going to suceed in a million hours. and mastery over the elements seems like a great trade off for 10k hours :twisted: probably competitive swimming or triathalon if it was true though.

Step one- go into secret underground bunker that we will probably build now for such an ocasion(looks at zdf base, but will have much cooler avatars) completly stocked with food and amunition. step two- find as many nests of dinosaurs as can be found and steal as many eggs as possible. step three- hatch and make them belive me to be the mother. step four- upgrade them with the best possible armour know to man. equiped with automatic machine guns strapped to their backs that will fire on any dinosaur not wearing a suit of armour. step five- dino wars begins! and i thought that the jurry was still out with whether dinosaurs were even cold blooded or reptiles? Forgive me for my ignorance i havn't had much of an interest in dinos for like 6 years. But what if a meteorite crashes in an underground cave and contains the alien equivalent of dinosaurs that grow and evolve incredibly fast. They would start popping up on the surface in a matter of days wreaking havoc wherever they go, including malls. Of course, the gov't would hatch a plan to destroy these creatures with napalm, lots of it, without knowing that fire only speeds their growth even more. WHAT THEN? Let me put this simply. Use Nuculear Bomb -> Meteorite. and have a giant alien omeba run around destroying everything?

okay so i know what most of the creatures on his new wish list are but having problems with these long sharp claws- honestly everything in this game has those 9 drag tails- green blue red black bronze iron steel mith and ????? does it mean kbd or wyverns? spine of giant snake- does it mean the sea snakes in miscilenia or the giant snakes on ape atol? or will both do femur of follower of bando- debating right now between orcs or the luetenants and general edit forgot one- sabre teeth- do sabetoothed kebbits drop or kyatts drop them? or is it something els since i don't remember a hunter monster droping bones from the last wish list.

The US economy will collapse. The prison system will become over loaded and private buisnessess will take over and turn them into something similar to the gladiator games where inmates will fight to the death on live tv and if they were to win so many fights they would go free. eventually we would get bored of watching it and they will think of a new way of entertaining us. they will give the inmates heavilly modified cars with machine guns, rocket launchers and the rest of the world will live happily ever after. if only.

i'm not into buisness and engineering so i don't really have much interest in running or creating my own pool. and you really only need basic chem for maintaining a pool but the sport psychology and orthopaedics seem to be interesting from what i've looked up so far, i might go for those. thanks for the input.

It depends on the circumstances. If its a child of rape or if it will cause harm to the mother and it should be terminated then so be it. if its just because a mother was stupid and did a one night stand without protection then her fault. the main problem i have with the pro-choice debate is that the father has no choice in the matter. i know a person who found out his wife was pregnant was bragging about it at work the entier time, planning a baby shower and such. only to have her go behind his back and get rid of it. he was devistated after it and they broke up.

i just instaled star craft onto this nice new computer. Now everything is out of wack. everything looks like its zoomed in to 4x the normal view even now as i'm typing this the text box takes up most of the screen, and i can't change it back. i've uninstalled starcraft and that hasn't worked. and currently running a diagnostic. i have had this problem before on my old comp but i have forgoten how i fixed it :? if anyone els has had this problem and knows to fix it can you please help me out.

Wouldn't the speed cause a huge increase of particle movement, causing the temperature to rise to insane levels then you burn up and die before even getting close to such a speed? There is a reason only electromagnetic waves can move that fast. i didn't say it would be easy

Alright, those few on here who know me personally know that I am a water nut. swimming, scuba diving, boating, i do it all. For all of last year I have been a swimming instructor doing lessons and for most of this year I have been lifeguarding as well. I have also just finshed my final year in school and the question thats starting to float around finally is, what are you going to do in university? And I have no answer to it. No other profesion has really interested me besides aquatics and all of the aquatics coursses are taught out of the school system. Only basic first aid and chemistry are actually needed to work in these profesions and recently my parents and family have started to try and convince me to go university and i just need some outside input. Should I go to university? I can't really see myself in another career besides aquatics and because all the actual courses that are needed arn't taught through the school system university is not actually a must. If you do think that i should go to university do you know of any courses that i would like or would help me based on the info i have given?
