  1. Well, a few comments after reading this thread. 1- If teleblock DOESN'T return.. there could be some serious problem IMO. 2- To those thinking that bosses, quest areas, guilds will not be PvP, I highly doubt it. Banks, ge, and lumby are all I see. If you want to do a quest, or fight bosses, it should be done on a Non PvP world.. Hence the term "PvP specific servers"...
  2. I was thinking, and I think it's a somewhat safe bet that melee won't be as efficient to PK as we'd all want. 99% of runescape. There are random fences, gates, obstacles, etc just everywhere... Rangers and mages who think smart might be the top...
  3. I'm pretty sure at the top of this page someone mentioned it, but I think the treasure hunter she speaks of is the wise old man. Think about it, being a treasure hunter and stealing things is his thing. (He even mentions at one point of talking to him things about, what use is a thank you, etc, I wanted my rewards for helping). With him spying on the tower atm he probably wants to do the same thing, get more info on more artifacts.
  4. Its not the new boss thing, Jagex have been looking to get their pking crowd back, this idea has probably been in the works for at least half a year. And is it that hard to use one of the many other threads about this?
  5. Should prove good to skillers an merchants. I don't plan to buy alot of Pk'ing stocks (buying.. other.. things), but since the only skill I really do now is farm, Yay. Pkers need pots (and alot of them). Herblorists need herbs to supply the pkers with pots. And me the farmer gets to make tons off of the herbs. (If what everyone forsees is right, the pots will be in pretty big demand, and if herbs/seeds rise, I have a pretty good stock of grown herbs and TONS of herb seeds ready.. so price rises wont be that bad for now =P) I'm looking forward to seeing people making giant clans, and ruling over 1 city. (c'mon, we can't say it wouldn't own. Clans that absolutely own a city and war over cities? it might not end that way but would be ownage to see...
  6. Seen a few people talking about the level differences, And I'm pretty posotive somewhere in the article, it said it varies. I believe it said different areas of runescape are like different levels of the wilderness, but this wouldnt have to be binded to have to go up as you go north, they could make varrock be +/- 10, ardy +/- 50, and fally +/- 75, or any other examples like that.. (and yes different for around areas between towns too id guess.
  7. Well, IMO, its the fact that playing ANY online game looks bad. You can't even really say runescape is worse than WoW so people hate it more, because people don't even normally talk alot when they play WoW. I'm at a loss of thinking what to say really, no one advertises that they play MMO's, however you see tons of people walking around in Halo, Guitar hero, Etc shirts. Idk maybe people just hate on computers =\
  8. Just to respond to a bit of above. They WILL STILL kill you for no reason, It's a stupid quick kill but to some pkers just killing someone like that is fun or funny. And it may be The size of the wild versus the entire world map, but it's not like there will be many worlds for this system. I'd probably bet on 3 free 3 member, and it'll probably be around that. Nonetheless its only a few world maps compared to how it was EVERY world with wilderness. It'll be more crowded.
  9. Empty skilling spots? Of course. However if the idea takes off and it's how I would think, there would be a very small amount of worlds, and if the idea is popular, LOADED with PK'ers. Are you really going to take your chances tying to Mine/Wc in a place where pkers will pop up immedietally and kill you? Don't say they wont if you're just skilling. To them It could be a full inventory of coal from someone who carried nothing but a rune pic, and had no def to last. (Coal for more supplies, Idk its an example) You cant say they wont respect the fact that you dont want to fight, Pk'ers killed People doing clues, mining, or doing anything at all in the wilderness before.
  10. I read this towards the top of the page and something stood out to me. "Short-term but hard hitting gear". Everyone who reads that will interperut (Sp? -.-) it differently, however when I read that, I don't think something degradable like barrows. I see it as something that has an amazing bonus, or something amazing to it, but short-term lasting. As is after so much combat with it, it would completely disappear and be gone forever. Its actually an idea that, if I'm right about, could work very well...
  11. The market changes will depend. If you get a garbage few k per kill, no ones gonna use it or give a S**t. If like they say is rewarded depending on how great the kill is, and really IS worth getting some big kill, just maybe. Saying you get a nice chunk of cash (I mean nice chunk too, it wont be close to the PK price though (Think about it, if you got the MP of a sgs for killing someone with one, its like RWT all over.) However if you get a chunk of cash worth that kill, and can keep getting good amounts of money for getting kills, then yes, people will pk more. So basically like I tried to say up there, if the rewards you get are worth it, and people can get good money off of being a skilled PK'er, then people will go do it, and if it gets very popular, the PK market might go back up.. maybe even big.
  12. - Crusader, Its really nice with the green set. - Baal - I dont like it with goggles on Thanks to anyone else who posted as well =P
  13. Eh, posted these on rate this but since theres alot of new minigame stuff here I mine as well show all the sets: [hide=robes] [/hide]
  14. ... And somewhat annoying after some time. Logged on and originally wanted the green set to match my cape.. but ya it didn't turn out like that. All of the Waters + Natures are from in game (And I forced olly to double some of the nats...) I don't have any extra tokens, somehow managed to get exactly 12k You can pretty much igore the boots/capes under each, those are just what I was wearing to finish each outfit. I gotta admit the RC guild turned out better than I thought it would, the robes look awesome. EDIT: Heres all them worn: [hide=outfits] [/hide] So ya rate I guess?
  15. [hide=zezima =\] Posting a Zezima picture is gonna get you flamed most likely, but I won't. I thought he quit Runescape  -insert generic response here- "He's just another player  " [/hide] Yes, he is just another player, and Maybe he's just trying to be that? Idk there have been alot of pics of seeing him around since summon, Maybe he doesn't want that rank back and wants to give #1 to someone else and he can somewhat just blend in with the crowd now? Or maybe I'm dead off.. =\
  16. I normally nicely support most additions to F2P, they don't have that much, but your post is over that. Do not say that F2P deserves something, just because they havn't gotton anything new in a while. Just because you havn't gotton a guild in 5 years, does not mean you are any closer to ANYTHING. F2P can make suggestions, and try, but when you say You deserve it just because F2P hasnt gotton many updates, you're an idiot. In my honest opinion, deal with what jagex decides or buy members...
  17. I can try to explain why I think that isn't true. Refer to Jard's post. (Hi Jard btw  ) Refer to the part ... At least theoretically, become decreasingly rare (although this is technically an illusion). That's the main point. There is no such thing as "This drop is 1 in 250, or 1 in 500, etc" those are estimates, but an illusion. Every time you kill a monster the numbers are re rolled and randomly (ok fine, since random is impossible, it finds) what drop to give. Each drop will not affect your next, every kill you just get a new roll and chance at a new drop, but just because you have killed any number does not affect anything in the future. You can go 1 billion kills with no particular drop, and no closer to it, it all depends on what item is chanced at the kill.
  18. [hide=guywho] In 2007 there were 32k active ones, according to some guy who worked at Jagex and got fired and leaked MechScape. In terms of hats, that isn't close to high, AT ALL. look at it this way. between that leak in 2007 - now, MANY players have quit, from being P****d at random updates, and not everyone put their hats into the party room. A number of players VERY LIKELY alced hats while quitting just to show how mad they were. Also some people had to have permanently quit and just left them there. Between those who will never come back, I myself would estimate that the number from then to now is AT LEAST a few hundred lower, if not could be close to a few thousand, remember they still leave the game the same ways over the years through accidents as well. (Mis alcs suck...) Lets play pretend land where all 32k are still active right now. A small number of people have multiple hats, and a very small number have a set or more. (Doesn't 3 hit have a set?) Compare the 32k hats to the 6 - 7 million regular players... With the fact that they're always getting rarer... There really aren't many compared to how many people play... I expect them to get rarer and even [bleep]e in price eventually. I've always said they won't stay stuck on the ge forever, and will rise back to over what they are now eventually, but when, is more of the question. he is going with the facts that he had/read about the rares. and you are just going with what you think you know and the stories/friends that told about it or even witness. you are just saying every thing that you think/assume that happen. it doesn't justify you to say that 3 Hit answer was wrong. i could probably search for what 3 hit said and find it. you are using words like "most likely" and assuption. you are trying to prove a point. So try prove it with facts not with opinions. [/hide] Lern2read please... I know he said 32k last year was a fact. I was assuming the number of them AT THIS MOMENT, and if you knew how to read, you'd realise that 3 hit's response to my post was his assumption as well. No one knows how many there are atm, and I was coming up with an estimate because he was saying they seem to be selling better. I fail to see what you are trying to do, especially since you said, "It doesn't justify you to say that 3 hit answer was wrong". Seriously read well or gtfo, I never said his number was wrong, He gave the number 32k for last year, I assumed less for this year, and the next post down, he did too, agreeing with me.

  20. Yes jagex hates you. And for posting this, alot of people on this forum now hate you. =D>
  21. Now see... A ton of us farmers should do that.. It would look 10x sexier cuz you know.. its farming.. it just owns.. =P
  22. It's probably going to be a lie... Why, of course it is a lie, did you not notice it during the quest? [hide=The cake really is a lie][/hide] [hide=A Note]If you ere umb enough to believe that please realise it was a fake. (The pic was taken from den's video =P)[/hide]
  23. I pretty much agree with alot of lists really.. However in my opinion I'd put Farming Higher than rc (Not jut because I have it). Rc ZMI gets 30 - 35k an hour, and makes a small profit or always breaking even last I checked. Farming's best is 200k ish daily, at the cost of nearly 2m. If you're going to go with a lower exp rate, it may only cost under 200 or 300k, at the cost of onyl getting under 100k exp a day. In those terms I really think farming takes more.
  24. Gl my noob TIF friends  (no u nt noobs I <3 u guys).. I won't be there... freaking 2 a.m. for me.. :wall: Ya i could be up but no.. I won't try that.
  25. Lets do it. That means the other 50 ish weeks in the year, bots and farmer can collect all their gold, nerd gold buyers can wait, then at christmas time, RWT like never before! Would so work. Seriously think this through, its a horrible idea and even if you had 500k signatues jagex wouldn't care... they've seen what EVERYONE thinks already. Not gonna happen. EDIT: LMFAO... That's a joke right? A warning? What the hell is a warning going to do? For YEAR jagex was going on banning sprees, cracking down hard, and siezing over 6b in rs gold WEEKLY, with farmers just making more accounts and not caring. If you think a little warning is going to stop them, you are VERY sadly mistaken.
