Honestly this is the same kind stupid reaction as seeing the word "niggles" in the other news post. They use a new phrase, and now it means something...

So since these are hard to trade, I of course, go to the RSOF and make an attempt to sell it. Got a PM from some kid.. Offers a Spectral, 19k D darts, some Super Def (4), and the rest in cash (~ 44m). I wanted a spectral shield anyways, and I figured... sure, the other junk is useless, but I can get range up with D Darts anyways.. Hell why not take it. So he says give him 10 mins to finish a task. Ok.. so I decide I'll be nice, and switch to his world to wait for him. OMFGSURPRISE. After 5 mins he logs. World 2 time. A bunch of sellers.. didn't look good. I see someone trade me, they say "How much cash". I told them to offer, and they said 50m, rest Maples (u). Hell I can get rid of junk later, but I wasnt sure about getting that much at once. I tell him one min, and after a few seconds he says "you have 5 seconds" he starts counting and I said sure... Nope.. Idiot runs off. Next guy says "Buying Hat up to red" so I trade him.. He offers some PvP armor, 60 gnome scarves, and 17m cash. I decline.. worst yet. After another 30 mins or an hour he's back, and I trade again to see (forgot exact offer, wasnt sure, was getting desperate.) Still said no, but asked if he would take off some scarves. So we walk out of ge to negotiate. We both went back and forth for a while, but we managed to settle down with something we both were happy with.[/hide] [hide=The Result] I Pc'd the PvP armor alone, a little over 9m. It'll sit in my bank, If I want to use, hell it's good stuff, Idc, if it ever sells, cool. The cash is pretty good, I can deal with that. The scarves, as far as I know, were recently merchanted and are dumped. I'm fine with that, And I'll sell them eventually. Hell even if they dropped to half price and I sold them all, thats 33m, and that really isn't bad. If I dont sell them, I'll just use them for other things (Lending things, buying things that are worthless, etc) All in all, a good day.[/hide]

Eh.. both make me still unsure. To the 88 summon coment, I plan to have 79 (Titans) which are still good healers. And if it matters for the hunting, I will have maxed melee by then, and also be at bandos/zammy, most likely tanking. (which is normally where people say SGS right there.. but still i never find my specials are highly useful tanking..)

Basically I need to choose between AGS and SGS Mainly for Finishing off my last 11 stength levels, and then for use at GWD (Bandos mainly), and random other monster hunting, along with Clan wars sometimes for fun. Now I know I probably will get alot of SGS answers, but I keep leaning towards AGS. The question is, if SGS is definitally better, is it better by a large enough margin, or are they both fine? And also, if i do buy AGS, is it really worth it?

A few people say they would lose money from people who play longer. What about the reverse? Say it was $180 (3 years at new price). Someone buys it and in 6 months has to quit for some reason or just wants to. they just got 2.5 years of payments from someone who isnt even playing. Now think of who gets banned. Someone buys it and gets banned, then jagex still gets free money from a player who has to now either quit, or will make a new account and give them even more money. As to whether I'd get it.. Idk.. really depends on the cost. Not even sure if it would be the greatest benefit.

I can see the next few years getting updates to tweak the game and little things that are nice, and some good big updates. After that mark where they lose some focus, I don't see RS dying. I see Mechscape and their 3rd MMO getting the most attention, but I can't see runescape dying. Even if the fanbase lost some, theres a TON of people who still love the game. And honestly in my opinion, if they focused on Runescape a little less, and just updated it a tiny bit, but still kept it alive, I'd still be fine with it. (Which is honestly what they'll probably do when they focus on the others more)

i just laugh at those without a skillcape making fun of my fm cape its rather funny Lol, really? You know why I laugh with 99 firemakers. Cause it's dead boring! Why would you bore the hell out of yourself to get a USELESS 99. On top of that, it's so fast and cheap xp, that it's really easily gotten, if you rule out the boredom. So you dont even get "respect" either. What's left? Wasted hours in the chase of a 99, which in the end, is a letdown. Might aswell go for a 99 you like, or that's useful. And about people who laugh at your skill cape while they dont have 99s: They havent spent 100 boring hours firemaking. They > you. Also, I got 99 magic, ranged and hitpoints, and in fact, I wish I didnt grind for the last few lvls. I'm getting the xp anyway, and every xp past 99 feels like a bit of wasted grinding. So i'd rather not have 99s. (of course, that's afterwards. Before, you are excited cause you want to wear that shiny cape, yay). Oh yes, and your 99's are so tough! Chinning for 99 range is easier then cooking, fming or fletching. Hp you usually get close to when you get 99 range, so not so tough, and magic you just alch or burst or whatever you do. Noncombat 99's are usually harder then combat ones. A 99 is a 99 no matter in which skill. His 99's are tougher than yours. If your going to challenge other people's 99s into the argument, then make sure you have good ones, or at least better than theirs. "a 99 is a 99". No. They arent the same. I get complimented daily, and comments daily, while wearing my farming cape. Never had any Bs against it. I watch 99 Fm, Fletch, and cook insulted, or ignored, almost every day. 99's are different by how impressive they are.

Oh and just to point out some other stupid things about people and the capes. People have said if it's so easy get your own. Umm... Being forced to fletch/fm/cook.. is boring as hell.. and who would want to do that? #2. It isn't an achievement in my eyes because none of the idiots even LIKE fletching, FM, Cook. For the people who get them as their first capes, 99% are because they just want a skillcape, and they want the easiest one possible. So i don't feel bad when they get insulted for it, because most of them just wanted to look cool with their cape, not actually because they have a love for the skill.

1. Not only does he have those 99s, but he's also very famous. So what, he isn't #1 now, he's still one of the most famous and well known players. And how do you know he doesn't get contact with Jagex? You can tell us for sure of that huh? 2. Once again, who made you the person who knows all of this. it's not like he announces everything he says to jagex if it's true.

Yes, this IS how forums work. When you come up with a good idea that is accepted by all, they all congradulate you, and tell you your awesome. I'm sorry.. but i really find the list pointless. Theres a list for the best of the best f2p, which of course is fine. A list for the top skillers wouldn't be bad, as it'll show how far those with no combat have gone. A list in the middle? Pointless. 60 - 70 isnt mid range as said. Its mid in levels, but thats meaningless when mid exp is in the 100 - 110 range. I'm sorry but I see little point.. I'd rather see the best of the best or the best with no combat.. not those who are like.. Well I want some combat but not alot. One or the other.. seriously.. Oh and No 99 Melee I wanna Join!

But they used to get over 26k exp per hour... Someone stands there for 6 hours and thats 156k... in 1 day.. thats close to the weekly with assist. in a month that's over 4m exp... much more appealing than 800k. In addition, assist wouldn't work. FFL used to trade the laws + Noted Ess back for unnoted ess. In the end the runner loses no ess to do it, whereas if they assisted, they lose ess. This is how FFL was so successful, the crafters let themselves lose million just because the runners wanted to make so much.

AIming for 99 or just to have a high level in the skill everyone hates? :lol: Oh and in your little "guide" on what you do daily.. you said you use 4 fruit trees a day. Wouldn't doing the 5th (Lletya) be more efficient? Or do you just not have a tele crystal/quests/whatever. Nonetheless, grats and GL.

Do you seriously have nothing better to post? You can't get an idea for a different thread that might have been useful? How the hell do you go from things not buying on the G.E. to automatically thinking D Claws caused it. Theres no serious logical thinking there. And how the hell do things being bought out mean people are saving for claws. The only way that happens is if people are starting a monopoly on that item to make money, and even then to do that you'd need more than the price of d claws to to affect the item...

Why are they all of a sudden not worth 100m because you say? Or because other people say? I can understand if people were tying to manipulate it, but people are willingly paying that price. If people who have high sums of cash deem something worth their time to buy it for whatever price they want, then apparently they are worth that to some players. EDIT: Hate to also be a d**k about this, but the only people I see complaining are all of those who don't have the 100m that others are paying... Therefore most say "Omg... I think they're 3m so I'm going to pay 3m but people are offering 100m they arent worth that." If anything trade limits to blame as well... Most items crash easily, no matter how good they are, by now.

I'd love to see this, we all would. But knowing jagex? They'll want to "protect" the idiots who go afk and people would go on their account. They even say something along the lines of this in the stronghold of security. (How long am I alloud to go afk? Never. Someone can mess with your acc yada yada) Seriously who does that? I doubt many families would do this... And if your playing at a library... well if you go afk at a library while doing anything your an idiot. And anyways is it really hard to overpower someone to take their computer and mess with them? :lol: and EDIT: Open up an interface (A skill, bank, etc) No randoms.

Ok well for the quest ending I went along with the imp prank and didn't tell explorer jack. Is there any difference in the end/rewards if I tell him the difference? (I plan to do the opposite on my pure anyways =\)

Eh... my answer is dependant of exactly what the non combat thing I'm doing is. Standing around chatting - D plate/legs/boots/gaunts, hally, atk cape usually.. (Eh, I like the look) Farming rounds (Or general skilling, but I farm more) - Depends how lazy I am, always farming cape, but different things from base clothes, runecrafter robes, guhtix D'hide.. generally any green items that go with it.
