  1. Dude, 1 billion is 1000 millions, meaning 1.000.000.000 coins. I think you meant 100 millions =) There is an easy way to make PvP armour usefull. Just make it last forever, but only useable in PvP worlds. And new 120+ combat gear without K0ing people with 1-2 hits is also not hard. Just make it non-useable in PvP worlds and PvP minigames. Maybe this will happen someday  No, He means 1 Billion. (yes 1000m, not 100m..) And the PvP armor suggestion is moronic. I'd just get a group of friends, all grab a statius set, and camp bandos (or insert boss here) in a PvP world. A group of people in statius + Vesta Longs would rip through bandos (or other) much easier than normal.. and no ones going to go try to pk one alone.. they'd just pile the person...
  2. This is actually getting pathetic. RWT related or not, Junk trading doesn't need to be screwed up. The time it takes to make any of that junk is easily beaten by any DECENT method of money making. If people would rather spend the same time to get a lesser value, made up in junk, so be it. Also their ge Prices were fine. Raw bird meat was used alot, and the rest, while not used as much, was still used a good amount and bought alot. There was no reason to do this... And as for: Thanks for the useless post, you're pretty pathetic for that.
  3. Funny.. A while ago (august BTS), they said they'd be bringing more detailed BTS articles, improving them with screenshots, etc.. Now they just do away with them completely.. -.-
  4. Tbh the OP does make sense.. This update is great yet sad at the same time. Great: I havn't had a single random since the update. Also, the randoms aren't task related (Gravedigger, you dont need to be burying bones, etc), and the rewards are now worthwhile for a small task. (However maze IMO was always worth the 2 mins it took. Bad: Now it's harder to get those rewards: Clothing won't be as easy if you don't get randoms enough, or just the random items you get that are sometimes worthwhile.
  5. Wow... :wall: :wall: Lets see... 99 farming over a year... Banked almost every watermelon, strawberry, and sweetcorn. Most set of allotments took about 2 - 3 bank runs... And NOW this... -.- And the herb thing... Also useless... as I clean all my herbs as I go... Good update I guess... but it also makes me kind of sad inside... :(
  6. As much as I like Jard, I might as well throw in my 2 cents. Yes, we can ALL agree Rares now are not like they were intended. You call it broken, that's more opinion really. Not everyone hates how rares have ended up. So what, there are a few left, why get rid of them just because they are discontinued? Some people like them, some have opinions similar to yours, and the rest simply couldn't care- which is easier. If you don't like rares, don't buy them, and don't bother with them, just let those who want them buy and sell them as they please. Does it really make that big of a difference in your gameplay that they NEED to be gone? Whats even wrong with them, no they didn't come out as intended, but why is that bad? So they're changed the econamy different then it would be without them, but it doesn't mean that's bad. Point is people still WANT them and are WILLING to buy them, so wheres the problem? I could understand a fix if everyone had your view, but not everyone does, as everyone has an opinion on rares. If people are still working to get them and collect them there is no real problem. (The only "problem" I can see is hoarding, and with the merchanting clans now.. every item gets hoarded/dumped etc...)
  7. Interesting idea, however slightly useless in my opinion. Your roulette wheel statement: Close but wrong. You stated the ring increases the chance of getting to spin the 2nd wheel, which it does not. The first wheel always remains constant, however if you do hit the "rare" slot on it, it will spin the 2nd wheel. The ring affects your drops off the 2nd wheel, making the less common items on that wheel apear slightly more often. So getting tallys of normal drops doesn't mean anything.
  8. This is hilarious. It isn't the first case where some a** hole RWT's, gets hacked, and then b*****s about it, and it makes news, blah blah. If it was a case where a normal player, who doesn't RWT and then cry about this stuff, then I'd have sympothy.. but this kid is an idiot. And as much of a douche as it makes me to say, I hope he gets perm banned soon. Just because this is on the news doesn't mean we should all feel sad, he admitted he RWT'd, and all the crying in the world doesn't change that he broke a rule. He agreed to the terms and conditions.. it's a conciquence now =\
  9. I forget exactly how it happens, but I'm pretty sure one of the graphics settings on low detail will give you that effect. Been like that since the HD update.
  10. Not a great thinker when it comes to business, eh? F2P = Potential future customers. If you mistreat/displease a future customer, then they won't want to do business with you = Loss of potential future profit. Therefore Jagex DOES have to give to f2p, how much, is the big decision on what's too far or too little. Therefore I believe they do deserve SOME customer service, however back to the way it used to be; P2P deals first, then f2p in spare time.
  11. This is basically one thing many don't think of immedietly. Yes they are being merched right now. The merchants could dump and gain cash, or make about what they paid (more or less), and get the high street items for ge price, easily. Basically means those merchants who did it that way got even more 3a/tables to hoarde
  12. lol gl on it :P oh and wow phats have really fallen ALOT \ \ I sold mine for 74.9 -.- Because i thought they were falling   [/hide] Decided that if i didnt buy this GE update its all over for me and my Phat adventures... Yeah go ahead dude, rub it on my face  Na.. It wouldn't have been the end of your partyhat adventures. As far as I've been told a merch clan has their hands on Purps/Yellows atm. Which means they wouldn't be high very long if that is true, but I could be wrong ;) But if I am right then he isn't rubbing it in your face as bad napalm :
  13. I remember I used to kill goblins, then after I got ~125gp, I'd run to varrock (no lumby bank), sell all other items I got to the general store (bronze sq was like 56gp ea, that was a big drop for me  ), then bank and repeat. I guess I was afraid to die and lose it all if I died somehow.. :?. Theres also the obvious way everyone felt about the wilderness at first. Scared to even be close to it. I remember some person bringing me to a furnace when I was lost. Every second I wasn't at that furnace I feared for my life that he'd bring me to the wilderness and kill me... First death was in the wilderness... I was level 24 (melee gear). Saw someone sitting around who was level 23. Guess what. That day I learned 1 level doesn't mean much.... Well that and mage totally DESTROYS melee at that level.... :wall:
  14. Ok.. since I'm 300k to 99 and that would take me another 2 days or so with pc.. I was looking into bursting. Question is, whats the hp exp per 1k bursts (rock lobs, 7 spawn area)? No one ever has the answer. And also, whats the HP exp per 1k chins?
  15. Y'know you're really annoying right? I know, but it's still true. every time you post you prove to me that you're even stupider than i thought the previous day... #-o Theres easy proof that the prices are being messed with.
  16. Note... Don't say "z0mg get a p0ny it5 betr!" After I get 99 str I plan to start bandos killing with a few friends alot, and by my luck... I'll end up being the tank... -.- The thing is, After my level, I should have at least enough charms for 79 summon (not 88, aww...), So I was wondering, Are the titans worth bringing at all to tank? For damage/healing, if they're any help, I guess I'll use the charms, if not, I'll hold off. Since It probably would make a difference, Maxed melee (after str soon), more or less max defense equipment while tanking. Thanks for any help
  17. I've thought about the idea since this has been posted. Now I realize it has potential that can EASILY be destroyed... Mainly, it can open up VAST new areas.. And that can be an understatement.. they can update and add TONS of awesome new lands... Dungeons with lots of travel to even get to.. plains full of new, dangerous monsters, exploring and treasure hunting in new areas, islands of special use... Hell even skill potential.. Add new ores that must be mined once you can sail to an island at X exploration level, etc, etc... Would take a hell of alot of work on jagex's part to make many new lands though.. but they do show their moments of greatness
  18. This "stop junk trade" S**T is getting older and older. It cannot be stopped. Period. Junk trading will always be around as long as there are GE limits. There will always be a reason for 1 item or another to have a wrong GE price, and it will be junk traded. No matter how hard you try, you WILL NOT stop it, unless you take out all trading except the ge, in which will lead to the merchants doing the same thing they are now - Get the first offer in at GE update and hoard, you still dont have the item either way.
  19. They can spawn any single item they choose, I remember on one of the older Screenshot threads, a mod was spawning different partyhats in front of people and wearing them for fun. Jagex mods can also move people (you can find pics of people dancing in the old varrock fountain, and dancing with the white knights in the party room on the table), and do a ton of other things (Mat K said in the pic he can tele from 52 wild. Ya It comes with the downfall of No trading, No Fighting other players as far as I know (unless it was changed), and no fighting monsters i Believe. (I could be wrong, was Mat K Attacking the CE at the event?
  20. They can be all 99s with an untrimmed cape. (See his 138... he has a few 99s), they can also not even have a 99 and wear the capes if Im right. Remember they dont buy the capes. They simple spawn items. (Codes or something I think). All they have to do is use that to get Untrimmed Whatever cape. (Remember, untrimmed and trimmed would count as 2 completely different item codes. So it's as simple as spawning the untrimmed one.
  21. OMG who is that sexy beast, in the top row, farthest to the right? Lol I really didn't expect to win for farming... but I guess im hawter than i thought  Nice work on the pic
  22. Eh, from my trade a few pages ago (Sold green partyhat Cash/Scarves/PVP Gear). I had a Z hood Banked. Z Bottom in that trade. Traded The chaps + corrupt top, with some of my junk + cash for a normal top. Traded The Statius Legs + some of my junk + cash for staff. In the end, I had to spend about 700k of my junk, and about 1m cash. (Rest of the value was in the other trade) I actually like the look of this set 8-)
  23. Basically the same thing as saying. "Why have nice things" Point is... if people can afford the things, and buy them, they must want them more than that skill they could be raising with the money, its just preference. And I would much perfer the bonuses of high end items anyways... it might be expensive, but its that price for a reason, no?
  24. Well, when jagex made the update that when you tele'd out of a player owned house, it removes poison, it was a hidden update. (This is before it healed you when leaving.) Red masks were 50m. Santas were 30m. I had both on me. We were screwing around in a dungeon, and he was using a DDS. Well I got Ring of lifed out. The panic from running to the bank not realizing poison wore off, was horrible... Hell I think anyone running to a bank at 1 hp, THINKING they were poisoned, while having 80m in rares, and any noob could grab them... would find it a scary moment.
