I don't normally read the articles thoroughly, however the partyhat dupe one peaked my interest. I read the entire thing, great article. (Just gotta read the others now I think though ;) ) Although whenever the dupe is mentioned.. it makes me wonder if the hat I have is an original or a duped... (Too bad that's unanswerable ;) )

Tbh when they make a full set, it NEEDS to be redesigned... Yea the pieces are fine alone and all, but it would make alot more sense to make every piece match and make an entire (Good looking) achievement diary set. With what there is atm, nothing from it really matches.. (All different wierd colors really). My 2 cents anyways...

20 Defense over a DFS is most likely not enough to make the shield seem necessary to...anyone, and based on the released stats of the creature anyhting over a defender probably will not be needed. Magic bonus says it all. When you couple melee bonus with the magic defense you'll be set against the new monster which will have melee attack and magic attack at the same time. That means nothing when you add the factors of this all: -The number of people who can kill the new creature -The number of people who WILL kill the new creature -The number of people willing to pay for an 80m shield to do so Added to: -The creature isn't going to be some super high level. -Many other mage based creatures are TONS cheaper and easier to just pray mage -The creature probably won't have a worthwhile drop- something new, however at 78 slayer, nothing to outshine whip/dark bow -As said, the creature won't be a high level (didn't they say 110 or so), and a DFS would probably suffice- 10 mage bonus, and if it is mage and melee, dfs has much higher melee def. = This new creature won't have any real effect on spectrals...

Throughout all this it makes me wonder... Is it just me or are merchants having trouble regaining total control- Yes, with shields and hats they are making profit, and a good amount of it. But as Rsw44 pointed out, it seems shakey with the Arcane/Spectral buyout, and everything is shakey- 3rd age- The initial crash was a mess. Merchants tried to regain control but it just wouldn't go. (Most will remember people Flipping items- Calzo did it quite well.) Partyhats- A giant roller coaster lately.. they're up more of the time, but they have crashes pretty often. Divine/Ely- Worth alot but merchants lost their 1b+ street of these... Yea they're still merching, but there is still nothing like what we remember 3a being- Unbuyable for months on the GE with extremely high street prices.. The only close things atm are Pumpkin/Disk/Easter/Half Wine. Waiting to see what happens on those, but merchants have lost control of most else... Idk... Everything seems alot shakier now anyways... My 2 cents anyways.

To the Christmas Cracker picture, it is fake. You can't trade over 2b in one trade. (Im pretty sure ezarc? confirmed this on tif a while ago) Second, the numbers are too seperated, it looks very sloppy like that... EDIT: Forget this part nvm

The only optical illusions I really love are those impossible object ones (I think the 2nd or 3rd poster had one with a waterway type thing). Other than that, This thread has reminded me why I hate optical illusions :wall: As for the dancer, which seems to be the most talked about thing here: At first, all I could see was it spinning counter-clockwise. It took me a few tries of looking at it to actually get it. I slowly looked down it until i looked off it (Basically at the paragraph underneath it), and it flipped to clockwise. Then it stayed like that. It wouldn't flip back to normal at all (Which pissed me off). So I went on to page 2 and went back to it, and there it was, counter clockwise again. DAMN YOUR EVILNESS

Because some people really will pay hundreds or thousands. I saw a rwt advert only a few hours ago actually (Hell, zybez's front page has a bunch of them.. -.- ) and said $3.49 a mill or something. An extremely rich account would easily get tons. In addition, were you playing when accounts were sold on ebay? Jagex stepped in a long time ago, but before they did accounts were on ebay, and even a crap account would get more than "£20 from some kid at a local school". High level accounts (Especially maxed combat) would go for craploads. Just shows that some people don't want to work, and are willing to pay to skip all that work.

Sounds like a big update... had a pretty good amount of bugs.. SAILING!@!@@!@!@!@! On the serious side.. the timer sounds useful.. and the pets.. eh I never was really into pet collecting..

Surprised this doesn't have many posts. Hell I'd do this even if it had no reward. It'd be really fun to see how many of different things I could kill, and just challenge things for fun. Maybe it could have a reward point system for random rewards? (Maybe like some exp item, special armor from the game, nothing overly powerful though), and points based on what you did? No idea... but it still would be really fun..

He has one pic of walking by the ge, but it clearly says he had to use a shop. No where does it say he used the GE at all. Maybe you should at least ask him before you call him a scum bag and write DISQUALIFIED. I might be wrong, but as far as I can see what he did was legit. Even if I am wrong, your an idiot for automatically assuming and calling him a scum bag about it.

To above.. the skilling challenges might work.. Idk though it sounds boring.. more of a grind really (Sit at a mage tree with a bronze axe.. FUN!) To the hard challenges you said with starting a new account, my first thought is no way in hell. (I think the OP might think along the same, he stated a few pages back, where skilling to get x goal, x exp etc is just a grind... and these challenges are meant to get away from grinding) idk, you might be right and I could be an idiot, but those just seem like grinding a stupid throwaway account for no reason -.-

I hate to be an [wagon] here, but I had a question. The kill a lesser one is under the F2p section. Doesn't this mean it should be done in f2p (Meaning no members items) Hate to pick that out specifically, but the explorers ring King used made me wonder...

Runecraft isn't the most useless. Whenever I do this, I plan to start easy- barrows. Mine ess, get an inventory and craft (abyss), to useable runes for barrows. Yea its a [bleep] but its efficient enough.

Im pretty sure any infinate stock items are fine, as well as some skillcapes which arent even in shops (talk option). NOTE: Don't take my word on this one 100%, I'm just basing that off his legend's cape and addy gloves. Whether they are or not, you still need 99k. I'm pretty sure you aren't allowed to sell on the ge as well as buy, so 99k might be a slight pain to get... (I might be wrong, just trying to answer it in case he isn't around atm) In addition to that, maybe there are other challenges to think up besides kill this boss? (Complete some task, etc), (Maybe even like earn 1m? That would actually be a challenge, only if you aren't able to sell on the ge, and could prove fun :D ) Theres probably other things to think up as well.

I love these kind of ideas, they're pretty interesting to see, and alot of fun to do. Tbh, you should come up with a longer list of tasks (and get suggestions), and present them like this: [hide=Solo the King Black Dragon]Player 1 (time if kept track) (Pic if taken) Player 2 Etc)[/hide] Showing the task, difficulty, pic, and players who did it. (Sure its on an honor system, but the hole thing is really =\) That is, if this takes off well (and by the posts so far it seems to). Idk you might not like it, but I think it might be cool to keep track)

Articles a good read, as always. Additionally, I hate to be a douchebag here, but am I the only one who notices that the random fact part is consistantly wrong/has an error? I'm not saying 100% of the time, but a pretty good amount theres some error in it. (On this one, it says it gives a 10% damage bonus against flag wielders, when its 20%) Yea I know someones going to complain that im whining about something stupid but Its just something I've noticed
