No event was better than the easter where rubber chickens were given out. (05 I think?). - It was short (Don't get me wrong, however sometimes the long ones aren't exactly fun as you get to pointless parts. All the short ones imo were actually fun enough to go back and spend even more time messing around. (Anyone who played for the rubber chicken easter, remember the crowds, at every day of the event, doing the event, and people yelling "Egg me!"? Now that was fun to mess with. The H'ween with the zombie head was also fun to go trick-or-treating after it too.) - It was fun afterwards (See above) - The reward was one of the best. (Rubber chicken is awesome. Carrot just wishes it could be cool like that)

I only skimmed the first bunch of posts but I didn't see this mentioned... I don't know whether I should be more surprised at: 1: A parent knows what that is. 2: Anyone thinks that's a source of information. 3: Someone would state that they use it as an actual source of information...

Well.. 2 other things now. 1: About the post above me, its hard to tell if hats will follow what 3a did. Hell, they could crash tomorrow for all we know. But as far as a decent guess will tell, they will be up for a while. The reason I don't think they will follow 3a is, they're discontinued, and the fact that handfulls could leave the game at any time, and never come back, it makes them even rarer to come by. With 3a at least random noobs might get it from a scroll, see the ge price and be like.. OMFG!!! SELL!. Partyhats arent coming in like that.. 2: Anyone else wondering why partyhats STILL get capped at a 1% margin? Tbh I find it completely stupid..

Am I the only one who noticed that not a single yellow sold on the GE today? I doubt more than 2-3 of the other hats sold. Look at post above you. Look at the fact that that the poster said "I bought it at its' exact valley", and then the fact that it's 10m under the current ge price.. Yea.. It's an old pic. As for what dragonlord said, sure they are overkill in many places, and yes, the ge price is even kind of high, but you know where the difference is? Overhype is enough to get everything to an unreasonable amount. Look at how 3a was since the GE came out.. Buying it out and make it seem much rarer than it was, was enough to hype it up so everyone wanted it, and was willing to pay those street prices on it. It was just looked at as alot better than it really is. Yea, 3a is actually great armor, but with the hype on it, it became seemingly alot more worthwhile. And: DO NOT BELIEVE THIS 100%. I AM COMPLETELY UNSURE. I don't know much about the cracker market, but me and someone were talking, and ASSUMING NO OTHER PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO SELL A CRACKER (Which is within reason, as they are rare to come by), then someone had pointed out to me that it could be used as a cash transfer. Person A sells Cracker on the ge min. Friend buys it. Then Person A buys its back on the ge max from the friend, or in trade from a friend. ~6m every 4 hours. REMEMBER THIS ASSUMES NO ONE ELSE IS SELLING A CRACKER ON THE GE. Of course, if that isn't true, then I have no theory... EDIT: As master smither has pointed out, his friend bought 2 on the ge, so this is impossible to do.

Actually yes, Lol. Makes sense to me though, Although Ely/Div are having a nice run, it won't last forever, and within weeks, or a few months, they probably will be down to ge price. (I was going to say crash, but they won't become worthless, I can see them being traded on the ge for a high price sometime soon though.) Who knows, they might become easy for buyers to get soon.

Master Smither is correct, in this economy, your stuff can be worth 100m over street price, you could leave for an hour, and come back to find out that it became total junk. (Which I've actually seen alot, good way to get deals tbh) However thats why it comes to the fact that if your trying to hoard and merchant these things, you have to at least understand thats a risk you take. Still, like always said.. rares are always going to be rare... they're always leaving the game, no matter what happens they will always get rarer and be worth something in the end...

Eh you didn't miss it completely.. Just throw some cash into partyhat offers and hope they go through, might have some luck. If not you said you have 300m+, blue still sells on the ge I think... you could go for one... And if not to that.. then well you have a nice money pile \ lol EDIT: 3rd 99 farmer in a row to post 8-) lol...

Lol at rares becoming the next unbuyables.. This time around I'm glad I have a nice stock of what's being bought out, instead of trying to jump on this later.. :wall: Any word on DIsks/Easters/Pumpkins, or even wines anybody? Wondering how they're going in all this...

Actually about the santas being bought up, I bought another like 5 mins ago, I got it for about 350k under max (Idk how much that is, all I did was put max and got that back). Considering they went down 460k today and went down yesterday too, they're making a comeback.

I Lol'd at the kid calling Platypus's pic fake.. Most people know he's insanely rich... (He's had other nice pics on Tif actually, not many recently though lol) As for all this 3a stuff, the markets getting closer to crashing, and partyhats are really up. I sold my 3a 2 days ago. Made a trade of Vambs + Santa and cash for a purp (Hats ftw), 2 days later (today), I was offered a Mage hat + Cash for it by the same guy... Just kinda shows something (No way I'd take it, even though that would be a decent 3a upgrade and a nice profit from price updates as well) I've also seen a few helm offers on low hats, and even a kite offer or 2 on reds.. so the market is changing pretty well. Partyhats should ease soon though, unless they somehow become the next insanely rare thing to have (Cmon, It would be nice to have all items pretty even with their market :wall: ) All in all lately the market is pretty interesting to watch.

Don't forget another thing, Once people get back into rares again, partyhats won't be the only thing that will get a boost. Small rares, even though they aren't exactly saught after now, will probably be looked for again. Remember they all used to be a ton higher in the days where partyhats were insane (I remember my friend payed 120m or so for his mask set, santas peaked at well over 20m, etc). So, maybe not extremely high, but small rares will end up going up a bit. You just can't beat the fact, that in the end, no matter what, as rares leave the game and become harder to find, they WILL increase in the end. And is it just me or has the ge database messed up lately on things? For me when I type in 3a, I get the list, but next to all them, the price increase every day, for the last week, has been 0. I know my coif had gone up at least once or twice in the last week, and a few other parts as well, but I've seen none showing it. (It DOES display the correct prices, however where it should say in green +1.5m or something, it just says a 0)

The cards were interesting nonetheless.. Yes, its of course showing that there will be a Runescape TCG to come (They just decided to give everyone the strongest 10 cards to screw with lol), and it's been inevitable. (Anyone remember the Jagex Concept art thread? There was a pic of a knight using his shield to block flames, which had the title "Runescape TCG" or along those lines. A few people have that pic as a sig IIRC). As for what it will do, thats the question. In TCG terms, it won't end up beating any of the top few TCG's (Anyone who is actually into TCG's will know that it won't beat out the top few- Actually mainly meaning magic.. which has been around [bleep]ing forever...). However if it will take off is the question. Who knows, the art is pretty nice on some, they might be nice to just have (Which alot of people do.. Having them doesn't mean you HAVE to play the game :? ) Idk though, it was kind of interesting to see this update...

I doubt even one elysian has been sold on the GE since they were released. The rises in price are manipulation by Jagex. Prices cannot change automatically unless offers are completed. Eventually the price will become high enough that divines and elysians will start buying. And based on what happened to d claws, they'll probably skyrocket and then crash. Actually, many have... I don't know why they recently havn't shown up on the top valued traded on the GE database, but if you look about a few days ago on the general screenies sticky, someone bought a sigil. Also there have been coinshared sigils as well (some TIFers got an ely a few months ago), so yes they have been sold. Other than that, Specs crashed yesterday night/this morning ish, arcanes crashed a few hours ago as far as I've seen, and I've talked to a few 3a/shield merchants saying they don't see Ely/Divine staying insane too much longer (Although I give those 2 a few more months I'd think). Partyhats are probably going to either go back down/or at least stay stable soon as far as I can see.. theres no way they're going to rocket to some insane price all of a sudden.

Its always one of the Highly wanted items by players, as a joke. Horses- Still asked for. Dragon Plate- Was always a highly wanted update... Dragon Kite- Another highly wanted item. I'd say either a Sailing joke (After all the jokes with it and idiots thinking its true), or some kind of Dragon Pick joke.

Eh... of course there will be a hell of alot of arguing over harder 99s. In my opinion though: Prayer: Shouldnt even be on a poll for longest 99.. its over 200k exp/hr easily with gilded altar... thats a ton more than any 99. It just takes money, which money making isnt technically part of the 99 process. Rc: I dont think is longer than farm or slayer. ZMI is a good 30 - 35k exp an hour, and even if you use a graahk for nats, thats 3k or so nats an hour, which is 24k exp... I dont care if people train the slow way (through abyss), if you're powering the 99, ZMI will bring it fast. Farm and Slayer: These 2 are very controversal, always... Farm, although you can plant and walk away, while your away, you're getting no exp. (unless at vinesweeper, which isnt exactly insane exp) Even powertraining this takes alot of time... and you have to log at the right times too; the more runs you get a day, the more exp of course, but many farmer logout and do their daily activities and get back on for each run, If you play 5 hrs straight for example, you probably wont pull in the exp someone who logs out between runs, but can do it for about a 10 hours span that day. (also playing a ton less time). Slayer... Is slow as hell. With a cannon... its slow as hell... With piety.... its slow as hell... with piety and cannon... well it's slightly better... It gets alot less exp rates than rc at least, and is only tied with farm in my opinion, because both have their exp drawbacks (Slayer- slow exp/hour, Farm- waiting lengths of time before you can even train more) I voted Farm, but in my opinion its about tied with slayer.

I really don't think we'll have a problem if alot of RSOF people come here. Mods here are alot faster to things (from what I see at least), and also we have the report button, which they don't on posts (they need to use the general report sticky). In addition Mods here will hand out Bans alot easier than Jagex will on the RSOF, so I really see any rule breaking as a short lived thing.

Yeah. This isn't about Runescape. And use Firefox 3, young'uns. 1- Not as many people will read it in tech and computers.. It actually is somewhat important. 2- He said it has important security updates, and as it's tied to the operating system (as he said again), it might be smart to get. Did you even read it all?

What the hell am I missing here? Zanik Crossbow Deals Max + 15 on people praying/wearing god items. Deals 3-15 extra damage assuming they don't meet either of those categories (Is it still max+that?) 50% drain. Old whip special.. Deals max or 0. no other bonus. Full drain. Gets completely nerfed. This bow is complete rape... (better than whip with it's old special IMO)... And as much as I hate to think it, I'll be surprised if it Isn't nerfed. (I can see it being full drain later on.. or something else stupid)... Hell if they don't nerf it in a week I might have some motivation to go quest... Otherwise I have no plan of rushing to the quests...
