I have heard it is as fast as a whip or d scim with the same str bonus as a whip except the lacking ability to use a rune defender, dfs, or obby shield. So you would think it would make as an awesome training and maybe even pvp wep. however i also heard it is very inaccurate making less effective than a d scim for training and horrible for pvp. So thats what i have heard and my thoughts on the wep. Just try it out maybe? :-k

I guess you would have to waste afew sara brews to get atleast 100hp which would make you "un-1 hitable" and make sure you have auto retaliate on. OR :pray: :pray: :pray:

I roll woth Guthix dh, looks good with a ranger set. However I dont think your choices are the best "tanking" armor. I say you should use: Verac Helm Torag PLate Verac Skirt DFS Rune X'bow Fury Dragon Boots This should give you a huge defence and nice prayer bonuses and also +87 ranged attack.

I take: Archer helm Glory Blk dh body Blk dh chaps Spined boots Barrows Gloves Anti fire shield Rune C'bow Ring of wealth 500 Addy Bolts Inventory: 905 Gold coins Rune axe 8 Antifirebreath potions 2-4 Range potions 120 Mith Emmy (e) Bolts 4-6 Sharks So what I do is poison them with the mith bolts then switch to addy bolts for the kill. I range pot when im 89/86 Ranged. So this is my set up until i run out of my 3,000 Addy bolts. You might switch the addy with mith.

How is the banking time for the Black dragons in tav dungeon? If i were to choose to go with black dragons i would go with the Zanaris ones.

Thanks to those of you who kept on topic. I would go with steels but from previous slayer tasks which i had them i felt they took to long to kill. I guess i will just have to try both. How many Fire bolts would last 66 antifire (3) pots?

Iron dragons vs. Black Dragons Does RoW help? or does it put percentage for runes and rune higher? Cost to kill and method of killing isnt a problem.

I rather use my Crystal bow as its cheaper. But i guess it all comes down to what you are fighting.

you trade them for Construction exp and like 1k in Dorgeshuun. i cant quite remember the name of the person however.

If good drops aren't a worry i would say good training could be: Yaks, bandits, Ghouls, Shadow warriors and ice warriors. Basically anything with low defence Med-high hp and in good supply is the way to go.

I didnt read all the posts so sorry if someone mentioned this already. I believe Jagex did admit to messing up on 4,000 different item prices and Yew longs could be one that slipped in? Don't quote me but i heard they are changing the range of Yew longs to 600-700ea. Besides i know a way to effectively train magic and make a hefty amount of gp for it. edit: Alching bracelets are awesome, I bought 40k sapp for 435ea nats for 253ea and made 2gp per alch instead of losing 84gp per alch on Yew longs. Yew longs are terrible to alch in the begining.

It all depends on luck. It took me nearly 1000 tokens to get to rune.

Kill count has no effect on getting a Barrows item. Kill counts contribute to the amount of racks or runes you will recieve if that is your reward.

I use barrows+gem over the cb brace. But like you said the bracelets may prove useful on burthrope tasks that you dont need stat boosts to help you.

For a Range Tank my friend.

With 86 range when i got to Jad my first bow was 3/10 (with guthans) I dont think your range can handle with just one crystal bow.

Could someone please could please post the best tank ranging armor and total stats for a maxed out tank with a 42m budget. Thanks in advance.

Basically D bow is dirt for fight caves because its slow. Its also slow for training for the same reason. With a Bone Cross bow you can hit higher than you can with bone bolts than you can with steel arrows, maybe even mith. For fight caves Crystal bow all the way. Karils is expensive if you fail, but effective. Rune C Bow is good but youd have to sacrafice a pray boosting cape for the accumalator if you get one.
