  1. Basically going to range these to 90 range and later to 99 range. I wanted to know the best cost effective inventory and other options I have on how to go about killing them. Stats: Hp:89 Def:87 Range:89 Prayer:71 Summoning: 55 Thanks in advance
  2. If you slay alot I highly reccomend guthans. I never slay without them because well i hate to bank during tasks. Also it will save you time in fishing and $$$ from not needing to buy food. yes guthans is 4.4m but that's the beautiful thing. They used to be 13m back in the day.
  3. Picture of cape doesn't work. {pokemama edit: Jagex hasn't shown us a pic of the cape yet, and it will be a while before a player reaches 99. So we'll have to wait. The alternate text should show "no pic yet" - am fixing it so this is visible in IE.}
  4. I had high hopes when my clan told me this. however its not the most common drop, they also take a while to kill if you use fire bolt (other spells were to costly imo). You would get more charms at fire giants per hour from my tests.
  5. Giant Rock Crabs drop 10 per charm drop. If you can get that drop, i killed about 25 and for 2 gold charm drops (yes 20) which would make it better for you to gather charms quicker by other means. edit: Limey beat me to it #-o #-o #-o
  6. Even if I was a rich bucket of lard wich changes his golden underpants every so many minutes, I wouldn't waste my time on this rediculously slow to train skill. Personally, I have NO problem with extremely gp wasting methods of training, infact, I endorse them. HOWEVER, You are paying your well earned 200m + gp on a skill wich trains SLOWER then runecrafting, and is just as tedious, without any possible way of making huge money, or lots of usefull things. So basically, you are paying your very hard earned cash on grinding wich won't get you nowhere, well maybe 99 summoning after a year and a half or so. Rich people deserve to train a skill the fast way, and poor people deserve the medicore to slow way. However, only the rich can train it now, and I doubt any of them really has the attention span or the lack of braincells to actually train this baby to 99. Well then go train some other skill and stop complaining about summoning. Jeez... Agreed. Hopefully a break through and reasonable cost to train the skill will be found. Or they will give us a update. (And stop sandbagging us imo)
  7. I felt this is a way for jagex to disguise their deflation, as they stated a few times the amount of gold circulating Rs is more than they'd like. i think there is a reason why they gave you the amount of tokens from the quest, and a reason for the high costing shards.. To get rid of some of that GP in Rs in this golden chance to remove the effect of inflation from alching (why do you think they arent lowering the price for Yew longs and such?). I have a feeling it will be more proportionate in the updates to come. This was round one it isnt over yet. I relized this when it was to late, as i already spent over 100k to get level 16 from 4. I like the skill just not the cost. For now its slayer training for me. BTW i do love the extra 64 bank spaces that came with the skill.
  8. Pro: - You get to level 4 off 2 minute quest. - Monsters seem cool (if you can get to them) - Bulldog is awesome Con: - Costs over 100k to get to level 16 - Costs more to level with higher ways to train - Its basically Rcing with out the cash rewards - Its insanely hard to get a good amount Charms after the charms are used up from quest reward. (i tried fire giants, giant rock crabs, ogres, those ants in the rift) - Its just slow and expensive to train Don't get me wrong I do enjoy gaining levels but the cons out wiegh the pros in the worst ways. And until there is a good way to get charms or cheaper shard prices im not going to waste anymore money on this. Hope TOG works soon.
  9. If you dont care about money, then enchant anything. If you do stay in 1 corner and take 13 of one color and 12 of the other and when the time is right enchant those. I recently did MTA for B2P (and inf boots to pay for the runes) and found that enchanting on turn is slow but still effective..
  10. In Clan chat i hear members always getting boot drops, once a member got 8 in 1 task. And you can't measure it but 120 kills equals a boot drop. Think of it as a 120 sided die that you roll everytime you kill one. (not that i think 120 is the chance as they tweak drops frequently).
  11. Yeah theres little to no reason to go to world 2 now for buying things as GE handles it now But like it was stated before GE is the hot spot in World 2, but at peak times its just as busy on any other world. I also noticed world 2 hasn't had more than 1800 players within the last few hours.
  12. I found alching to be alot cheaper, but that was before the update. Infact i made 2gp per alch and i bought my alchs and nats. Onyx enchant is still expensive but if your mage level is decent atm 30m should do.
  13. Save for guthans and do slayer. +1 myself.
  14. not yet i would say, you could range them however pending on that level.
  15. If you don't like to click alot your playing the wrong game. I'm sure it doesnt make a big difference while you fight. Hobgobs are no drops but you can camp there as long as your arrows last as you will not be within there reach.
  16. then that would be 50k an hour. I would suggest ranging Ankou for decent drops (well i think for f2p) You could also range Hobgoblins from the cow pen next to the crafting guild, as you stated you dont care about arrow picking up.
  17. would help if you tell us where you train now. and 65k and hour f2p? be honest.
  18. You would be alright, guthans would be key. If not tanking with food would do but you would most likely have to bank more than you would like to.
  19. If in doubt, slay. With your combat stats there isnt much to do which wasnt said. For a stead cash flow go with Blue Dragons. With the wildy update Greens are not a good choice, with those pjing revs.
  20. You get the entry Fee of everyone who entered. So you get gold coins.
  21. yeah use rapid, but i really never see a difference between range attack styles unless its long range.
