  1. People tend to buy yew longbows. They always sell and buy. When you use the calculator, you can see how much exp you get. 5 million will buy you like, 7032 bows. I just take 7032 bows as an example. You get: 5.4 mil money (not included nature runes) 457080 magic exp.
  2. You get a defender in the Warriors Guild in Burthope. When your attack and strength are 150 together, you can enter the guild. First, you need tokens. At least 100, before you can enter the top floor, to get to the cyclops. You earn tokens on the ground floor, by using a armour (full helmet, platebody and platelegs) on a device. It will become a animated armour, wich you have to kill. The armour can break, but I used black, and didn't break a single time. Pick up your armour when you killed it, pick up the tokens, and start over. When you have enough tokens, go to the topfloor, and ask the woman who is standing there to release a cyclops that drops a bronze defender. There are many cyclops, and it is totally random wich has the defender. When you get the bronze one, go outside, show it to the woman, and she will release a cyclops wich carries a iron defender. Once you hit rune, I suggest showing it to her, so she will release another cyclops wich carries a rune defender. A spare one can be good. This also gives you cb experience, so using your whip on lash, will get you some exp. So you spend your time usefull, get exp, wich means less time at Moss Giants. Happy whipping
  3. Well if you want it fast, you need a monster with high HP, and little attack. Basiclly I say: just go slayer, use the whip + defender + warrior ring and super sets and whip away. If you don't feel like that, and if you want it fast, you shouldn't care about drops. Then go Experiments. Boring as hell, but 100 HP, and so little attack that they only hit 1 in 20 attacks... If you do want some drops, stay at Moss Giants. Might pack some nats and fires just in case you get a drop you can alch. But, use your super sets, and the warrior ring for faster kills.
  4. Well Moss Giants won't give you tons of exp. Although some half decent drops will give you a bit of money. I suggest using your whip on Lash, it's shared exp. Maybe use a super set, although you can use them on better tasks, but if you have the spare, use them for faster kills. Maybe sell some of the pots, to get a Warrior Ring. It's not more than 600K, I just bought one myself, since the RoW really is a overrated ring. It will give you +4 to slash (wich you use when whipping the moss giants to Kingdome Come). I'm happy with it. Should bought that earlier in the game. On Torags, well, that's up to you. Mainly, when I go monster killing, and don't need barrows, I won't. Although the cost of repair aren't that high, I can do just fine with my non-degradable set-up. I have better uses for the armour then wasting it on monsters that won't hit high anyway.

Use a knife on the battered book, you will get the key then. At least, that is what the questguide of Elemental workshop I tells.

http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=high_alch_calc.htm Use this tool to see how much profit you would gain, and how much magic exp. http://www.tip.it/runescape/high_alch.php#results This tool gives you a insight of profit/loss while adding the nature runes, and the things to buy. People tend to use strung yew longs for alching. They always sell on GE, and always buy easy, so the only reason why people use them, is high alch.
  7. Why block them? I always thought them to be reasonable exp. Well they have lots of HP. So the exp isn't the problem. I can imagine that it's the time to kill them. I mean, 230 living rock creatures...that's gonna take a while...
  8. Why block them?
  9. World 84 is indeed the unofficial livingrock world. It couldn't hurt to wear armour, just in case. It's not common you get attacked, but just in case. It won't be a problem while running and such, the spots are not that far from eachother.
  10. The first article was a real good one to read. Online bullying is something that grows and grows. Not a very light thing, just for the laugh, but a real serious problem, even on RS. I remember once that I collected some herbs by killing man/woman in Lumbridge. A dude called me noob, stupid and such. Now I don't argue with people like that. Acting so low on a game, I can spend my time better. Then 4 guys arrived, and started to call me names. That was the point I reported them. Now I didn't felt down or something, it was rather funny that some players use the game for this kinda stuff, but I understand it can go too far. And people can be really upset about it. I don't even understand it. Because you are save in your house, behind a screen, you just think you can say everything. Call everybody names. Act like a [cabbage]. And in real life, you don't even think about acting like that. The second article pointed out the Mini Games. Now I have played Castle Wars only 4 times, because it's a bit hard in the beginning. Stealing Creation, was something I played for the tools. That's what I thought. But it turned out to be a fun mini game. Acting with a team, helping eachother, and defeat the other team always makes me feel good. And off course, the nice points so I can buy stuff. In my opnion SC is a Mini Game that shows what a Mini Game has to carry to be succesfull. A reward that is good, and helpfull in lots of skills, and the challenge of beating the other team. There is even a individual part in it, you can be the one that gathered the most resources, or that killed the most people. I always try to be the one who gathered the most resources and turned them into items. I really have a fun time when playing SC.

Hm I thought it was Oo'glog. Well, at least you didn't shot me :P
  12. Umoria replied to Ezkaton's topic in Help and Advice
Also take into consideration exchanging your pouches to get, I believe, 70% of the shards back? Please correct me if the percentage is off. Jep, in the Ogre town Oo'glog or something, there is a Ogre who buys your pouches for 70% of the shards you used to make the pouch. It can save you shards, but I suggested this once, and they almost shot me, because it was a stupid suggestion :-/
  13. This is a hard one for sure. SGS is a great sword for slayer. Most people where thinking of selling it, sold it, and buy it back the other day because they miss it so bad. As far as I know, on the forums people say: bandos plate + verac skirt is a great slayer set-up. THen again, barrows is less money, and strong enough too. The only downside are the repair costs, but you can reduce that with a POH and 55 con I thought. This is a huge discussion right here. Barrows vs. Bandos.
  14. Beacon ring I thought. I know what you mean
  15. I know, but it's the only "usefull" ring I have atm. Warriorsring is a possible ring, because I don't have the money right now to buy berserker. Well I was comparing the sara d'hide chaps with karil skirt. Karil is better on mage protect, and offers, no attack bonus, neither the chaps do. I can buy the karil skirt for this kinda tasks, should I consider this?
  16. Then again, my summ is 52, and not 68 so I don't have a bunyip. I have to deal with the terrorbird, stocked with food.
  17. Won't stack? Oh well, I guess I was wrong on that. To put it for the super defence and such, I will use a superset ;) Never tried the trout method, could go with that. And then I should consider getting the slayer ring I guess. Banking isn't a real breeze now hehe. Thnx for suggestions :)
  18. Well, since I said goodbye to Duradel, and went back to Chaldear, I get some pretty nice tasks. Turoth, Aberrant spectres, fire giants, Aberrant spectres etc. Personally, I think spectres are great, the downside is that I always pray. I see people melee them without prayer, and still getting hit often. My stats are in sig, but the question is: can I kill spectres without prayer on these levels? At bloodvelds I made the mistake to focus really on magic defence armour. I don't want to make that mistake now on spectres. I thought of: Slayer helmet Salve amulet Black d'hide body Sara d'hide chaps Dragon boots/bandos boots God cape Whip Rune defender/elemental shield RoW (since I don't have berserker ring) In iventory I use a super set, gem and 20 monks. Give it a try, or still pray, and make the ranarr herbs into new pots?
  19. As soon as I hitted 85 fish, I went to cavefish. I myself found the time to catch them is a little long, but the exp and money will make that up. I thought on world 88, you don't have problems with the living rock creatures attacking you, cause it's crowded and used for mineral mining. So maybe then the numbers will change, and you can catch a decent ammount of cavefish.
  20. Uhm lol yeah, stab weapon. My bad...
  21. Take the melee set-up you normally use, and get some kind of crush weapon. Leaf bladed sword seems the best. Unless you have access to super antifire pots, then zammy spear should do the trick. Take a BoB, super att and str, antifire pots, and swing away.
  22. Everyone will basiclly say: the best slayer master you can. And I don't tend to argue with them :) Vannakka and the fairythingmaster in Zanaris gives some nice tasks, level till 70 shouldn't take too long if you focus on combat by using slayer. As you can reach Duradel, there is a point you have to consider what you want. I myself get black demons, hell hounds, black demons, hell hounds, steel dragons, black demons, steel dragons... Maybe once in 10 tasks he gives spectres or Dusties, but it's rare for me. I consider myself unlucky, and go back to Chaldear.
  23. Umoria replied to Jadinko's topic in Help and Advice
Yep, bring a spirit wolf and some scrolls. Revenants run in fear from the howl. Wildy till 70 is fastest yes.
  24. Well by imbueing it, the stats increase 100%, 4 to 8. Maybe when you feel something for it, you could do it. But even without imbue the ring is worth it.
  25. Well if you have the money, use it. The Strength bonuses add up in the long run, allong with your other gear. Faster kills = faster exp. People tend to choose the zerker above RoW, because more kills means more chances of rare drops.
