  1. If you want to train slayer anyway, slay away! As I look at your stats (impressive 75 prayer for your levels, good one!) the armoured zombies can make it worth your while. Using piety, and the salve (e) amulet to get the best of it. They drop lots of noted stuff, so you can stay as long is you want.
  2. Quick ways are not the most profitable ways. Green Dragon hunting is a very good one, sell the hides and bones. HERB FARMING! (yes in capitals). It's really worth it, and don't takes too much time. Tanning dragon hides. Red, green, blue, black, is the order from good profit too less-but-still-worth-it-profit. Just go with greens. Easy to buy and easy to sell. When you catch a clue, do it. You never know what you get.

Well, as soon as I hit 75 I will go Kuradel, and end up with waterfiends (I unblock them) and living rock creatures. No access to super anti fires yet, but hey, that will come. I love you guys

Well, I hear alot of good things about the zamarokian spear. And Basiclly the price is comming down atm, so I maybe grab me one. But on wich tasks is the zammy spear the best weapon to use? (Slayer tasks that is).
  5. Agreed. You may call my POV cynical but the debate doesnt seem to be what benefits F2P, but more about how much cash members make from it. Well I can understand why you think that. I might not get the all of the points out of myself, due to my English, I'm Dutch. But I consider price a thing you have to keep in mind. People suggesting it will skyrocket. Now for now I agree with Langer, who said anyones thoughts are good, we can only predict here. IF, the d med is skyrocket to a high price, how much people CAN afford it in F2P? It can be a pretty pain in the cabbage to earn money in F2P because the options are limited and the competition is high. I think the d med will benefit F2P, no question about that. But the price can be a pain.
  6. P2P: use chaos druids, flesh crawlers are good too. But by far the best thing is slayer. You will raise combat ánd get a hold on charms and some fair drops. F2P: flesh crawlers.
  7. Torag is by far the cheapest barrow set. Although the hammers aren't any good, and the set special isn't something you need. It has high defence. Karil is used for its magic defence, not as a range set. So karils top and skirt are the only thing you pretty much need, when you need high mage defence. Armadyl outplaces Karil if you want to range with a good set. Ahrim is the way to go when you want to mage. Best set there is. Okay, maybe 3rd age is better, but ahrim is cheaper, and gets the job done. Guthan is used for its healing ability. The whole set. Personally, I use it on some slayer tasks, so I end up using less food. Just bring some food in case the set won't heal you enough or in time. Veracs is used for its prayer bonus at Sara GWD. And veracs (the whole set, or just the helmet, top, and skirt) is good for barrow runs. With veracs, you don't need a second armor set while doing barrow runs. And veracs is good for some other boss hunting. While slayer, Verac is often used too. To recap: Torag: cheap and good, gets the job done. Karil: only top and skirt for mage defence Ahrim: whole set for maging. Veracs: good if you boss hunt, Sara GWD and barrows. And for slayer. Guthans: healing, you should hold on to guthans, a wise choice.
  8. Yes, it will decrease the drop rate of addy bars. You will get more runite limbs and ranarr's. I personally always use the Ring of Wealth. The limbs can be alched, and ranarrs are nice too, and I still end with much addy bars. So yes, you will get less bars, but the limbs an ranarrs pays for that, and you still get enough bars to make a good profit. Offcourse, if you just want the noted bars, a Archer Ring is what you need.
  9. Mithril dragons only drop chewed bones, and it's somewhat rare. I myself used mangled bones, wich is a 100% drop from the confused barbarian. On the map, you see a red dot, that is the place I killed one. If you make the pyre, prepare to run, because it will release a barbarian spirit who isn't very happy. You will finish your diary with this too. A lot easier, but keep in mind you need to run away if the spirit is released
  10. Pie shells earning exp? Since when? Adding pastry dough to the pie shell won't give any exp. Making the dough, won't give any exp, as far as I know. So the only thing you can earn is gp.
  11. Well mainly I thought the market was done with the d med, because people offer it. But then the Moderator says it's because mainly people ignore the d med. So much for that dream then. Well the Mole is the only monster I can think off, that can be F2P, and not as suggested, the KBD. However, the lightsource is a little pain then, because you need to make that F2P also. It can be the maple way though. But in F2P the mole will be a challenge. In P2P it's a giant teddybear. It will give a new dimension to F2P, and make people curious for other boss monsters.
  12. +3/+4 in stats. That is not very high. Gameplay still isn't gonna change much with that. 10K added to high alch price is not much value, but it means people would sell, and not high alch the D meds. Also the D meds are in higher demand. Compare to the new overload potions. Herbs comming down, but never reach their old value before the update. The herbs stay more expensive then before the update due to the higher demand.
  13. But if you compare the dragon med, with the trusted rune full, it isn't gonna change much. I think it will change nothing. The only thing that's gonna change is the options people got. Although the rune fullhelmet is superior to D med, people would buy it, but the benefit is so low... The only thing that is gonna change for a couple of months, is the price of a d med. It will go through the roof, once it has become F2P. After a couple of months, the price will go down, but I don't think it will go back to current price. I think it will become stable around 70K.
  14. So a familiar is pretty much what I need to speed things up, and go for the best clay. Most of the time that would be 4, sometimes 5 if it's a fishing spot or tree. Well, gonna start that one, but I wasn't far away from a good strategy by making stackable items. That's a relief
  15. Well, when I asked people if it was worth it to buy a Dragon Chainbody, I got alot of responses, and people suggesting barrows armour ánd 55 construction. I never played SC before, and started because the tools are dubble your exp, or 2.2x exp if I use morphic. So I went to SC, and the first game I ended with 4K points. Due to the lack of knowledge about the game. Now I play more, I can get between 40-70K each game. Mostly due my own found strategy. When the game begins I look for class 1 clay, get 4, turn into tools. Then off to find level 3, get 4, turn into tools, search for level 4, get 8 for tools and for mage armour and staff. After that I search only for class 3 clay, and turn everything into runes. I turn Water Blast on (the best I can) just in case, and make runes till the end of the game. I have been killed a couple of times, wich certainly decrease my points, as I loose to many runes. I don't get back to my base, because I need some runes to help teammates when they attack or get attacked. So when not killed, I can earn 70K, only by making runes, and my own gear. I see people who can reack 90, even 100K. I suppose they are good in combat, but I tend to loose everytime I go toe-to-toe with melee, and win most of the time if I blast any player away who is attacking me. On myself, I wont attack, because I'm in the game for the tools. Went to a clan once, but it seems I won't get any higher points, even If I don't get killed. Is there any strategy that works better then mine?
  16. OMG its Zezima!!11!!11!!!!11!!! *ahem* Anyways, most F2Pers don't really buy Dragon Meds. They don't have much use for anything. Even showing them off is pointless, it looks like someone took a dump all over a helmet. Still, releasing D Med to F2P would completely diminish the Corr. D Med. Dragon Square and Dragon spears are fairly useless too, but they shouldn't be given to them. Too overpowered imo. Oh, and I think D Med is much rarer. I haven't gotten one, but have gotten loads upon loads of dragon platelegs. I'm not exactly complaining about that though. Well even if showing off is pointless (that might be only our opnion), I think F2P players would buy one. God armours (rune guthix/saradomin/zamorak) haven't got much to add either, still people buy them to show off. In the Help and Advice topic people ask what looks good with this or that. Basiclly just what your taste is, but I think F2P players would buy the D med anyway, although it adds nothing to the F2P ganmeplay.

Really, there is little discussion about Kuradels dungeon :) IF, you want the best of it offcourse. Happy slaying!
  18. Well, you want some skills higher IF you ever come back. Well, here we go: Moneydraining skills should be trained first. Prayer, herblore, construction. Prayer by buying all dragon bones, and use an gilded altar, is a quick way. Level 80 prayer, maybe 90, will look good and help you if you come back. Construction so you can use gilded altar, use best lectern for spelltablets and use it on the best telescope you can for Shooting Stars. The lectern can provide you a moneymaker if you get back. Getting herblore up is good too. The extreme pots are really nice, and if you come back, and don't have lots of money left, you can use the extremes to use combat to gain money. I would say: keep like 10 or 15 mil in bank, just in case. With 190 mil you can still buy some nice levels.

Kuradels dungeon let you use the fercious rings, with +4 damage on each succesfull hit. That is a minimal hit of 5...how Frozen Fortress could beat that? It is a walk, yes, but it's best to use Kuradels dungeon. @ Daff Depends on stats, cash, etc. etc.
  20. Yes, I'm pretty sure you can use the terrorbird there. But beware of revs. Maybe bringing some Spirit Wolf pouches and howl scrolls, just in case.
  21. The same question, does adding it to F2P make F2P any better, can be asked of trimmed and god armour. Technically the stats are worse than they are for fully rune (in the magic category anyway, everything else the same), yet players still want to buy it. Even if a dragon med had the same stats as a full rune helmet, people would still want to buy it. I'd estimate that there would be a high enough increase in demand to make the dragon med go up to 200k+ in price simply by adding it to F2P. Well I know of that question. But when you browse the Help and Advice forum, you see people asking what looks good with something. And trimmed armour is just a show off. God armour is a show off too, mainly because people see that you have some money to spend in F2P, so they don't care about the stats. I do think people will buy the d med if it was introduced in F2P. There is no room for arguying about that, but is adding it to F2P, make F2P better? Or is it just makes P2P better, mostly because d med drop means more money when you sell it?
  22. Well I think I follow your thoughts good. Basiclly you mean that F2P (and its confirmed) isn't a demo, but it's the game wich you can expand by becoming member. And since F2P is the basic of P2P, some things can be made F2P, because in P2P they have lost there power. One of them is without a doubt the dragon med. But compare it to rune full helmet, the best there is in F2P. Is it significant better? Is it good to add to F2P? Is adding it to F2P, make F2P any better? I do think a bossmonster such as the Giant Mole can be made F2P, without adding drops significant. Such things as the claws and skins, can be traded for birdsnest in P2P, but in F2P exchange them for exp or money. Or exchange it for a exp lamp. KBD for F2P isn't much of a thing I would like to see. In P2P it's a challenging monster. Even more challenging if you compare it to the mole, wich is a giant teddybear if you have the right stats and equipment. As far as the potions go, you can add it the maple way. You can buy it and use it, but can't make it yourself. Well, compare it to green d'leather. Best F2P ranging gear, but you can't make it yourself. But then it's only for strength, attack and defence potion. So to your question: KBD made F2P? NO  Dragon Med made F2P: perhaps Giant mole F2P: YES
  23. I remember RS before the GE. It was pretty much a bunch of spamming around, so you could buy or sell something. It was hard to find someone who sold just what you needed. Nowadays I can search questguides, and buy the items I need in GE without spending too much time walking around, finding someone who could sell the thing I need. It's true that merchanting is harder. There are a bunch of manipulators, such as "We Fight GE" that chooses an item, wich the clan buys at bulk. They did it with rune nails, willow seed, granite maces and more of that. I do think that's one point for the pro-removal. But the easy selling and buying of stuff is a step in the right direction. Taking the GE away would cause too much people to leave the game, even if it satisfied the people who have a gruge against the GE. Jagex made a good decision to develop the game, and made the game a little easier.
  24. Bandos plate, Verac's skirt and SW cape is best slayer outfit? Well I think SW cape is Soul Wars cape, wich you get after the new master quest. Well, I like dragon alot, but maybe I just buy it when I have money to burn. And at this time, I can't burn up too much money. So barrows it is, I'm really happy with Guthan's atm, something I don't like to sell! As far as SC goes, I have to read ALOT I see. For enough tools I should spend good time. But he, if it's gonna save me loads of cash in the long run, I give it a try. Well, of to study Stealing Creation!
  25. Well, as for the sacred hammers, what is this SC all about? Someone mentioned clans and such that won't fight, but mine clay for the hammers, to speed smithing/construction? I should go and read some stuff about it, since more and more people in the forums suggest the sacred hammer/harpoon etc. for training.
