Ibiza? Nope, Salou, a coastal area about an hour from Barcelona I keep wishing I was still there instead of being here having to answer 40 questions on Mammalian metabolism by next week <_< <_<

I have been in Spain getting drunk for four nights in a row and living the life with the trampolining team from my university. Loads of universities go to this one Spanish town with various sports teams competing or just holidaying. The brochure says 587 people will statistically cheat on their partners during this week (I was not and would never have been one of them, if anything I'm more defensive when drunk) Now I am back in the UK and after sleeping for 15 hours, I am facing the realities of life again. Spain was so amazing, stayed in a great hotel, less than a 5 minute walk from the beach, the nightlife was nice and varied as well. Would do again 10/10. Only downside was that the group I was with caused 3000 euros worth of damage (not me personally but guilty by association) and the journey back was a 24 hour drive and we got stopped by French police twice for speeding and had to pay fines in cash on the spot which was very strange to me being from the UK

Tbh I'll be honest, I made my blog because of resentment for certain individuals but I've received unexpected support and an apology I had not expected but secretly wanted so that I could move on properly and I woke up to an honest Whatsapp message that let me be at peace with some of the things that happened. So I can start being a bit more positive and excited for the months ahead in my blog now :-D :-D In other news I've had a pretty normal day... Went to a lecture, came home and slept. The usual. Got a 6 hour lab practical on inorganic medicine   Is it wrong that I'm looking forward to it   :o and got 76 Mining y'day so all the reqs for ROTM are now reached too.

I thought I'd start it up in prep for my year abroad. But thought I might as well just put everything on it instead of spamming you guys all the time :) I do value your responses though and you guys are still epic.

  16. I do not constantly complain about him what. I've posted on two-three separate points in a 15 month relationship. More than some but less than others lol. I'm off to Canada late August. Y Guy - I had a friend I used to talk to who was friends with him too and in their general group but I felt bad putting her in an awkward position but she has vouched that some of these things are just his character. I also felt a bit exposed with a single person knowing so much about my relationship and how I feel and I didn't want it to become gossip amongst their friendship group but I know she'd be there for me. But for now I think everything has mostly been covered and I don't have any 'problems' to ask for advice on at this point.
  17. Thanks for all your points, and I see what everyone has said and understand it. I did show him some of the posts and he argued that if he posted from his point of view that people could find reasons why he should break up with me. He argued that my version of events is 'searching for a particular kind of answer' and that if you post on a forum, you "get the answer you expect" I did disagree as obviously, if I had gone to my friends, it would be different but I think you guys have tried to be as 'balanced' and reasonable as possible based on the information I've given you which isn't down to interpretation as none of these events are fictional. I honestly don't know if I do actually want to end things at this present moment, and even though I've considered it, I have no idea how to go about it without being filled with immense guilt because I know he does care about and love me.

I've lived in London for a little over 7 years. Factoring in wind chill, -30°C isn't common, but -20 is. There are quite a few warmer days (-5°C or warmer) thrown in there, too. I've also witnessed a few thunder-snows in my time here, which I never saw in my pre-London days. Warm winter clothes is always a good idea, especially if you don't like the cold. Personally, I thrive in it, so I haven't even worn a winter coat since high school, which I finished before moving to London. I've been warned about extreme winters now multiple times from lots of people. I don't even know what -20 feels like but I'm terrified. We complain about the weather everyday in the UK. I think we complain about nothing but I'm used to it. I'm looking at various things and realised it's really different to uni in the UK It looks like there's an emphasis on having roommates and having meal plans and I've had neither in my years at uni over here. I enjoy cooking I don't really want to stop cooking for myself and I've always been against the idea of sharing a room especially with someone I don't get along with or feel awkward around. Learn to cook a good poutine and you'll be everyones friend. If they don't like poutine, they're not canadian. I'm so excited omg :-D :-D :-D :-D There were only 3 places available out of ~300 people wanting a place

Where in Ontario? Some informaiton on the Ontario climate here, and you can search for information for particular locations: http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/about/OI_ABOUT_WEATHER.html You'll get used to the cold, or stop going outside I guess. On the upside, the change in perspective will benefit you when you return home. Most people get used to it I find. I know a couple people who are in Canada for their first winter (Nova Scotia, which tends to be a little warmer and a little more windy), and they seem to be doing alright. I'm under the impression that France is a much warmer place though  Your clue about Winnepeg should be the nickname Winterpeg. No ones trying to hide it. The area around Calgary is breathtaking if you go to the right spot. Alberta is not someplace I would want to live though. Actually, I don't really want to leave the east coast. Life is just more laid back out here. You go visiting in Ontario, or Alberta, and it's all rush rush rush. Things are a bit more relaxed out here, and I like it. London Ontario. I stopped leaving the house due to the cold in December but I think I'll grow more balls for my year abroad. I'd be silly not to. I'm spending this summer buying very warm winter clothes in preparation anyway.

Genuinely hard decision. I can see that his behaviour has been very gradually changing. I will only leave him if I feel there's no point attempting to 'make it work'. He's thinking of visiting at one point but at the moment I think we'll keep going as it is then abandon ship or see what we can do to keep things working out. Yeah I am very close to the Canada America border. Never thought I'd even be going to that part of the world but I am still excited West, Central, or East in terms of being stateside? I've been to calgary and winnipeg and calgary was very fun. East ..... Had to Google maps it..
