Can any lvl wield a constr banner? How many bank spaces p2p?
So, if I get to level 48 crafting, and I use my friend's banner easel, I can make myself a banner and then wield it? Thanks :) Oh, and still wondering how much p2p bank space there is... f2p have 60 I think, and Jagex said like six times as much, so I'm guessing around 360ish like someone said, but would appreciate the real number :D

No More Merchanting....EVER
I absolutely love having to spend hours at a time trying to buy thousands of something, getting only like 100 at a time or so. ^ sarcasm. Merchants make my life easy because they will round up thousands or something for me, saving me tons of time. Do I have to pay extra? Yes, but who cares, in the time I save, I can make that money back x3. So, without merchants, my life would suck obviously, and hope they aren't eliminated :)

Can any lvl wield a constr banner? How many bank spaces p2p?
I have two questions, so I figure I would make 1 thread for both: 1. Can any level (like level 1 att, def, str) wield one of those construction banners? Can they paint their helmets (bronze and/or iron), too? Thanks. 2. What is the exact number of bank spaces a p2p player has? Thanks.

Mining Question
I timed myself mining iron ore at the mine near the wizard's guild (P2P area)... I get 403 rocks (banked) in 47 minutes. That mine, however, is a little bit closer to a bank than the Varrock mine is to a bank. At the above, rate, though, it would take 116 minutes to get 1000 iron. Assume a little bit longer for the varrock mine, so maybe 2 hours to 2 hours and 30 minutes for 1k rocks :D NOTE: I was multitasking when mining those rocks, too, btw. Also note, I am level 3, so my pickaxe was in my inventory which means I can only carry 27 ore per load, so that's slower than you

Mining Question
Varrock east mining location was the best for me, it seemed, but you might want to try the west mine as well. Mine at the east mine, until full inventory, then walk north, along the east wall of Varrock, and then bank at the small/east bank and reverse the path back to the mine. Mine the three rocks in the mine that are facing the outside. The iron in the mine looks like this sorta (the little "o" is an iron rock): ----o oo o Mine the top three there. Try to go to a world with 1500+ people in it, but no one else at the mine (or no one near your level) - world hop until you find a good world. Tip: Surprisingly, world 1 is usually empty in the mine, but has a lot of people, so the iron rocks spawn faster. Make sure you have a rune pickaxe. I definitely think you can mine 2800 iron in a week, 2hr/day :) EDIT: There is no iron in the mining guild :D

~~~RC pker's why?~~~
I think RCers should... like.. LOVE RC PKers... Imagine if one day all RC PKers stopped killing runecrafters: The abyss wouldn't be dangerous at all (minus the monsters) and would be INCREDIBLY unbalanced. Jagex would notice this and obviously change the abyss, to an even WORSE stage than having PKers (stronger monsters, deeper in wild, etc etc) Obviously the PKers aren't that great, too, like shown in those interviews and in the OP. Just live through a PK every once in a while and move on. Jagex probably thinks there are a lot more PKers than there actually are (probably think you have to dodge them every run), so it seems like having even a few is working in your advantage. I'm not a RCer (a good enough one to use abyss, YET that is) so I guess I really can't say, but it does seem like the idea/potential of being PKed is what keeps the abyss safe from Jagex's hands (like staking)...
Top 20 F2P Skiller list
Would/was the list (be) made by total level or by total experience (assuming under 99)? I wonder what # skiller rank I would have (I'm level 3) :P Then again, I'm not really a skiller - more of a miner who has raised some other skills to help with the mining (more or less) or for physical appearance (getting agility/thieving for rogues, but the agility is nice to have too)
MOST hitpoints experience (exp) when training Magic?
I didn't realize that Tip.it had such a nice Magic skill guide... Is the experience section relatively new? I don't remember it there before... well, with this new information, I found that a spell works like this: You get a certain amount of XP for a spell that you cast plus 2*damage you do as magic experience and then 1.33*damage done for HP experience. When it said that a spell has a MAXimum damage of like 14, I figured that the AVERAGE would be 14/2, or 7, since that sorta made sense... With the information from Tip.it, I charted this: Level Name Base Exp Max Dmg 1-- Wind Strike-- 5.5-- 2 5-- Water Strike-- 7.5-- 4 9-- Earth Strike-- 9.5-- 6 13-- Fire Strike-- 11.5-- 8 17-- Wind Bolt-- 13.5-- 9 23-- Water Bolt-- 16.5-- 10 29-- Earth Bolt-- 19.5-- 11 35-- Fire Bolt-- 22.5-- 12 39-- Crumble Undead-- 24.5-- 15 41-- Wind Blast-- 25.5-- 13 47-- Water Blast-- 28.5-- 14 53-- Earth Blast-- 31.5-- 15 59-- Fire Blast-- 34.5-- 16 Then, assuming you took 10 shots and did 1/2 of the maximum amount of damage on average, I did (base exp * 10) + (average damage*2) to find the amount of magic experience you would receive from 10 turns with that spell: Magic Exp: 75 115 155 195 225 265 305 345 395 385 425 465 505 Then, I did the average amount of damage times 10 turns and then times 1.33333 to find the HP exp you would receive after 10 turns: HP Exp: 13.33 26.67 40 53.33 60 66.67 73.33 80 100 86.67 93.33 100 106.67 Then, I divded those two rows (I did HP/Magic) to find which spell would give you the most % of HP as compared to how much magic XP you get... Here are the results: Wind Strike 0.178 Water Strike 0.232 Earth Strike 0.258 Fire Strike 0.274 Wind Bolt 0.267 Water Bolt 0.252 Earth Bolt 0.240 Fire Bolt 0.232 Crumble Undead 0.253 Wind Blast 0.225 Water Blast 0.220 Earth Blast 0.215 Fire Blast 0.211 The higher that decimal, I figured, the more HP experience you are getting as compared to magic... From highest to lowest, I sorted it real fast in Excel, and this is it: Fire Strike 0.274 Wind Bolt 0.267 Earth Strike 0.258 Crumble Undead 0.253 Water Bolt 0.252 Earth Bolt 0.24 Water Strike 0.232 Fire Bolt 0.232 Wind Blast 0.225 Water Blast 0.22 Earth Blast 0.215 Fire Blast 0.211 Wind Strike 0.178 That would mean the best thing to train HP and magic on is Fire Strike... Dang :/ I've been training with the most expensive... Sorta makes me want to restart my pure since it's not perfect lol... nah, I can only just put all genies or books of knowledge on HP to make up the lost little bit :P
MOST hitpoints experience (exp) when training Magic?
I really want the most hitpoints EXP I can get, and I was wondering how I should train my magic to achieve this. With strength and ranged, you don't get any EXP for "splatting" (hitting a 0, lol). You get HP EXP whenever you do damage (something like the amount of damage you do divided by 4 times 1.333 (repeating)). With magic, however, the experience seems to work differently... I think it works like this: You get so much xp for doing a spell and then a certain amount more for the damage you do. And some spells you get EXP for not even doing damage... How is HP exp changed by this? I have been trying to figure it out but I can't seem to. Do you get HP exp based solely on how much damage you do? Or is the amount of HP you get based on how much magic exp you get? For example, let's say you get 20xp for simply doing air strike + 4xp for every damage you do after that... If you hit 1 damage, then 2 damage, then 1 damage it would look like this: 24xp 28xp 24xp, which means you would have been raised 76exp in magic. Assuming you get HP EXP for the damage you do, you would get: 5.33 hp xp. Now, let's assume that fire blast gives you 10xp for simply doing the spell + 4xp for every damage you do, and assume you do the same damage: 14xp 18xp 14xp You would get 46 magic experience and yet the same amount of HP exp (5.33) So, in that example, if I wanted to maximize my HP exp, I would obviously choose fire blast over the air strike, because, when getting the same amount of magic XP, I get more HP exp. That was just an example, does anyone know what the best option would be? Money is NOT an issue, so I was wondering: Should I train with the best spell available (more damage in fewer shots, so would that mean most HP exp?) or should I train with a lower spell (less xp for simply doing the spell, so more xp goes to how much damage you do, therefore more exp goes to how much HP you get?) I'm so confused, so can someone help explain this? Thanks!
Th3 Crusader's guide to power mining Granite! Updated 2-5
I don't understand how you people are getting 50k+/hour power mining!! Mining is my main skill, so I try to keep track of everything and I've timed how much XP I am getting per minute and it is no where NEAR 50k/hour: Granite Time Experience 19- 11,090 41- 21,095 43- 28,120 39- 20,125 54- 33,015 40- 22,940 11- 7,200 26- 15,435 30- 17,525 19- 9,465 9- 5,525 Total: 331 (minutes) 191,535 (experience) That averages out at 579 xp / minute which is 34,719 xp per hour. I sit by the two granite rocks you showed and mine them until full and then really quickly drop them all (I'm pretty dang fast at dropping, btw), and then I continue mining (if I missed like 1 or two dropping, ignore them and just keep mining, waste of time to go back and drop them).. And for powermining iron with 3 rocks and then dropping OR having a friend drop them for me (was paying him 1k/minute to drop for me :D)... Time Experience 28- 13,895 14- 8,590 28- 13,615 45- 21,000 Total: 115 (minutes) 57,100 (experience) That averages to 497 xp / minute, which is like 30k xp /hour powermining iron... All of this mining was at level 80+, so I doubt that it a problem. I am level 3, so my pickaxe is in my inventory when I mine (it is rune, too). What am I doing wrong?!?!?! :evil:
