  1. Well, let me fix the grammar :P And make sure that is within the character limits (it seems a bit long) "Dear Jagex, I admit that I did provide the URL to an outside website. However, I did not call attention to, promote, or emphasize the website. I am very sorry about my mistake. I thought that we were only not allowed to tell others to go to a website; I was unaware that we cannot say a URL. I am sorry and I will not do this again. After my dad recently died of cancer, and now my mom is very sick, Runescape is my life. I am going to commit suicide if I do not get my account back, after spending years to level up."
  2. Go to the Dueling Arena and stake the limit (yes, the limit!) and get freaking rich!! I'm so glad I became a member for the Duel Arena, was definitely worth the money :P
  3. I doubt that is how I would write my letter (I dunno, I'd just be too scared that they would hax0r my information and call the police or something, lol), but if you think that will work and others have confirmed, I guess it's worth a shot. However, there are some grammatical problems with your last sentence. I THINK it should be written like this: "I am going to commit suicide if I do not get my account back; after spending years to level up and after I recently decided to become a member, this is too much." EDIT: editted twice
  4. Do you have to send any personal information to use PayByCash? I have never used it, so I don't know. Getting the money order = parents would definitely not find out, unless they found a receipt you kept (lol you're fault and you would deserve them finding; plus, even if they did find a receipt, say you got the M.O. for a friend's BDay or something, lol) If you have to send personal information to PBC, they might contact you (to say your registration was successful or to say you need to renew, etc), but I doubt that will happen. If you enter no information, they could never send you anything, so of course parents = never know. :) Delete the history of this thread, too, lol
  5. BUMP and cool progress :D I posted in your mining guide and you have yet to reply :( :P
  6. You can get a money order from the Grocery Store or the Post Officer, either works, usually. There is no ID required and no personal information needed. It costs a bit of money for them to make the money order, remember, too. So if it is for like $10, they may charge from like $10.50 to $11.50 :)
  7. Money orders are non-trackable I'm pretty sure :) Sorta like cash, not much like a check
  8. My goal in Runescape is to get a few 99s and to get a party hat (white or yellow). If they remove the tradability of these party hats, I think I will quit. I have never threatened to quit before, and I usually snicker at people who do, but I honestly believe this. The only way that I would stay would be if they made some more ultra-rare-discounted items occasionally that were more controlled than party hats, but still have the same aura around them (only for the really rich, something exclusive).
  9. Ahh, someone provided a quote from the rules page: I would specifically say something like, "I was not actively advertising any website or product." That way they KNOW you have read the rule - one of the main reasons to be banned (Jagex bans you so you learn the rules and don't do it again). They will reconsider your banning and also be happy that you now FULLY understand the rules.
  10. In the player-made guides section for skills, there is a very nice Abyss Runecrafting guide. In the guide it says to not bring one of the bracelets or prayer potion, but definitely bring a one-click teleport. If you see a dot, don't run immediatley. If you get attacked by ancient magic, and it fails, try to keep running to the mage to teleport (I think that's what it said). If you feel you won't make it or get frozen, click the teleport tablet. If you get snared (regular magic), IMMEDIATLEY click the teleport, because people with regular magic have the ability to use teleblock. People with ancient magics (where a big ice block goes around you) cannot teleblock you. If someone ranges at you, run to the mage that teleports you. I think that is what the guide says, I would double check, though. A teleport tablet is a little square tablet that when you click it, you will instantly be teleported to where it is for. That way you don't need extra runes to teleport and you dont need to rub anything and then click where you want to go. EDIT: Also, if you are teleblocked and slowly dying, it is best to DROP your pouches (from biggest to smallest). I have read this in a few guides. This makes it so that the pouches will not disappear for 2 minutes. You can usually run to the Lumbridge bank really fast, grab an amulet of glory, teleport to edgeville, and run to grab your pouches before they disappear :)
  11. I would actually go with Customer Service made a mistake... I've been successful on that 3/3, but then again I've never tried to apologize (which can be spelled both ways). My friends have been successful with "made a mistake", too, though, so I would recommend that... Apologizing... I don't know.. just doesn't seem that great, can't see it being very effective...
  12. Click on the Appeal a ban link on the left of the main page and then sign it. You probably have 0 blackmarks if you have never been banned/especially if you have no messages
  13. I would definitely try to show them that you understand completely what Rule 11 is (so that they know you know what the rules are and in-depth). Don't be direct about it, but make it apparent (that you understand the rule completely): I admit that I did provide the URL to an outside website. However, I did not call attention to, promote or emphasize the website. (the 2nd sentence comes straight from the definition of advertise). Obviously write something longer than that. Try to use all of the characters available, but don't sacrifice important detail to fit something less important. Spell check your work and make sure there are ZERO grammatical errors. If you need someone to proof-ready your statement, I advise you do so. I can help if you want, both of my appeals were successful.
  14. Arrows and sell would probably be best...
  15. Well every time I hear like Yew or something, I think of RS
  16. I was running around the dwarve mine for idk what reason and a scorpion killed me. I thought closing the window would log me out real fast, apparently it doesn't :P Lost like 40k, was uber pissed - but now that I think about it, it's really good that I died because right after that I started doing some research and stuff and learned about ways to make TONS more money. Had I not died, I'd still be mining coal for cash lol
  17. About 4 months ago, I opened Runescape and tried to log in, but it told me that I was banned. This was obviously a shock to me, so I went to the message center to see what this was about. I had well over 10 blackmarks and it said that my account was permanently banned and muted, for real world trading and for account sharing or trading. The evidence provided for the latter was confusing. In the evidence, it was clear that the OTHER person I was talking was admitting to account sharing and trading. There was no mention of me account sharing or whatever, however, I did say a bit of lewd language (we had figured out the new account of someone whom had scammed my friend earlier (his membership was still on his old one, so he posted on the forums with it, saying to message his new account), so I was a bit angry). Jagex doesn't/didn't provide any evidence for RWT... I typed up two really well-written appeals for the bans and submitted them both. Within literally two minutes, I was unbanned and had 0/10 blackmarks once again - nothing was affected. Anyone know why Jagex would do this? Were they testing to see if I was human or something? I was confused and still am, lol.
  18. If you tell him how much the money means to you and he still won't respect that, maybe you shouldn't stay friends with him. But if you openly become "not friends" with him, there is very little chance you will get your items back. Also, talking to his parents is really awkward, it would seem.
  19. Would it be possible to get Varrock Armour 1 or 2, then, without getting any defence, strength, or attack armor? If you do get the armour, are there any requirements to wear the armor? EDIT: I looked closer in the Achievement Diary guide and it seems like these are the only skills one needs to complete the Easy tasks: Other Requirements 1000 coins 15 Mining A pickaxe 100 Coins Logs or an axe 13 Agility An axe 50 Coins Bones (Any kind) 8 Crafting, Soft clay 10 Construction 5K coins minimum Earth Talisman or Tiara Cup of tea 10 Mining A pickaxe 20 Fishing Feathers Fly fishing rod Knife The skills needed to complete all of the Medium tasks are a lot harder, and include some combat-related skills/tasks. So that is out of the question. All I need to know now, is if there are any requirements to simply WEAR Varrock Amour 1. Anyone know? Thanks :)
  20. If you look a little north east of East Ardougne (and a little south of the Hero's Guild), there is a small mining spot. In this mining spot, on the west of the path, there are 3 iron rocks that allow you to mine without having to move. Mine those 3 iron rocks and then use a ring of dueling to teleport to Castle Wars. Bank the iron in the Castle Wars bank and then teleport to East Ardougne and run up and continue mining. Or, mine in the mine that is a little north of Yanille. Then bank at the bank that is south in Yanille (east Yanille), and walk back and repeat. Once you can, mine granite and drop it. Bring desert robes, some cash, and waterskins. Use the cash to buy more waterskins from the nearby Bandit Camp and you will never need to leave.
  21. Are there any defence level requirements to wear Varrock Armor one? What about Varrock Armor two? Varrock Armor three? Are there any strength or attack requirements? Thank you :)
  22. I am actually making a STR pure and would like a lot of HP (most people don't like HP, but I love it - it's like having defence extra doesn't add (many) combat levels!) I'm raising Mage and Range to the highest they can be without affecting my combat level :)
  23. forgot to say that, i left all the f2p quests out of it, since they are easy and no one should have any problems doing those :) I love all the positive comments! :D this is actually my first 'quide' , which i needed for my membership. Like MrBrowser said, i will try to make a quest item quide when i get the time for it :) Here's a list of all of the items needed for all of the quests (# next to the name is also how many of that item you will need, assuming the item is lost/dropped after/during every quest): [hide]agility potion (4) 1 air rune 59 anti poisons 10 Anti-Dragon Shield 1 Ardougne teleport 3 Asgarnian ale 1 Ashes 2 Astral rune 1 bait 20 ball of wool 13 banana 1 bar of soap 1 barley malt 2 Bat bone 1 Bear Fur 17 Black full helm 2 Black mushroom ink 1 black platebody 2 black platelegs 2 Blood rune 6 blue dye 2 Blurberry Special 2 bones 35 bottle of Vodka 1 bow 3 bow string 1 bowl 2 bowl of hot water 1 bowl of water 1 Bread 11 bronze axes 10 bronze bar 7 bronze medium helm 2 bronze nail 1 bronze wire 3 Bucket 21 bucket of milk 3 Bucket of Sand 1 Bucket of Sap 1 bucket of water 9 Bullseye Lantern 3 buttons 1 cabbage 1 cabbage seed 3 Cadava berries 1 Cake 4 cake tin 1 Camelot teleport 3 Candle 1 catspeak amulet 2 chaos runes 65 Charcoal 2 Cheese 5 chisel 8 chocolate cake 1 chocolate dust 1 climbing boots 5 cloak 1 clockwork 1 coal 23 coal-tar 1 Comm Orb 1 compost 5 cooked bass 1 cooked salmon 1 cooked shrimp 1 cooked swordfish 1 cooked trout 10 cooked tuna 1 Cosmic rune 4 Crossbow (any metal) 1 crystal saw or small crystal seed 1 cup of tea 1 cut sapphire 6 Death Rune 6 Death Talisman 1 desert robes 6 Diamond 1 Diving apparatus 1 Doogle leaves 1 Dragon Bone 1 Dramen staff 3 druid pouch 1 Dwellberries 1 Earth Rune 57 Ectophial 1 ecto-tokens 22 Emerald 1 Essence 11 Face mask 2 Falador teleport 2 Feather 156 Fire Runes 50 Fire staff 1 fishbowl helmet 1 Fishing rod 4 flour 1 Flowers 1 Games Necklace 2 Garden trowel 2 Garlic 3 Ghostspeak amulet 6 Glarial's amulet 1 Glarial's pebble 1 Goblin Mail 4 gold bar 9 Goutweed 1 gp 45436 Grains of wheat 10 Granite 1 Green dye 1 grounded unicorn horn 1 Guam leaf 4 H.A.M. clothing 2 hammer 21 hard leather 1 Harpoon 1 harralander 2 hatchet 6 holy symbol 2 hood 1 Ice gloves 1 insect repellent 1 iron arrow 2 Iron Axe 5 iron bar 12 iron chain mail 2 iron pickaxe 2 iron spear 1 Jade 1 Jangerberries 1 Jogre bones 1 Jug of water 1 karamja rum 1 kebab 1 Knife 13 kwuarm 1 lantern 7 Large Pouch 1 lava runes 1 Law Runes 6 leather boots 1 leather gloves 7 limpwurt roots 20 lit candle 1 lobster 2 Lobster pot 2 Lockpick 5 log 3 Machete 2 Magic log 13 magic or dark bow 1 mahogany plank 1 Maple Log 2 marigold seed 1 marrentil 3 milk 1 Mind Rune 1 mind talisman 1 mist runes 10 Mithril 2-Handed Sword 1 mithril bar 1 mithril grapple 1 mithril ore 6 mithril woodcutting axe 1 molten glass 9 monkey bones 1 mourner letter 1 Mourners Outfit 2 Mud Rune 1 Necklace mould 1 needle 5 noose wand 1 Oak Log 2 oak longbow 1 oak planks 10 Ogre bellows 1 onion seed 3 onions 4 Opal 1 Orange dye 1 Papyrus 7 Pestle & mortar 14 Pharaoh's sceptre 1 pickaxe 16 Pineapple 1 pink skirt 1 plank 41 plant cure 2 plant pot 2 pot 24 potato seeds 4 prayer potions 9 priest robe 2 Purple dye 1 Radimus notes 1 rake 6 Ranarr Weed 1 Raw chicken 7 raw cod 1 Raw sardine 1 Raw shark 1 raw trout 5 Raw tuna 1 red bead 1 Red dye 2 red spider eggs 1 Red Topaz 1 redberries 5 Redberry Pie 2 Ring mould 1 Ring of Charos 2 ring of life 1 rope 33 rotten apple 1 Rubies 3 rune essence 71 Rune hatchet 1 sack of potatoes (10) 1 sacks 8 Sapphire Amulet 1 sapphire Ring 1 Saw 2 Seal of passage 1 seaweed 1 secateurs 3 seed dibber 6 Shantay pass 22 shears 2 Silk 14 silver bar 4 Silver sickle 1 silver sickle (blessed) 2 Silverlight 1 slayer gem 1 slayer gloves 1 Slimey eel 1 Small fishing net 1 snape grass 1 soft clay 11 soft leather 3 Soul Rune 1 spade 18 Spices 1 [bleep]ed boots 1 spiny helm 3 stake 1 Stat restore 5 steel bars 12 steel dagger 1 steel long sword 2 steel mace 1 steel nails 58 steel nails 405 steel short swords 2 steel war hammer 1 Supercomposts 7 Swamp paste 2 swamp tar 4 Tarromin 2 tarromin/water mixes 3 tea cup 1 thread 9 tiara 3 Tinderbox 26 Toad crunchies 1 toxic powder 1 Unfinished toadflax potion 1 Unfired bowl 1 unlit candle 1 Unpowered Orb 1 varrock teleport 8 vial 11 Vial of water 8 Watchtower teleport 2 water rune 2 Watering can 3 waterskins 41 weed 1 white apron 1 white bead 1 White Berries 1 willow branches 12 Willow log 2 Wizard's mind bomb 1 woad leaves 2 yellow dye 5 yew log 2[/hide] I just happened to have that list and then read your post :P Add it to the OP if you wish
  24. Someone buys 1mil from a RWTer They message each other off of runescape RWT takes out 1million from bank They meet up in wild, empty world Person kills RWT Person gets 1mil No trading, staking, or dropping involved. I also doubt they will remove trading completly, but perhaps put another cap on it, so that you can still trade a few things to friends and to help people, quests, etc.
  25. I have a question about the runecrafting part... You mention things like this: "By using world 16 airs, if you put in an extra 81 hours, you end up 43 million ahead. That's 530k an hour. Don't make fires UNLESS your average income is above 530k an hour." Ok, sure that is true IF you assume that you stop runecrafting after you get the level 91 you desired... If you do air runes world 16, it takes an extra 81 hours and you end up 43 million ahead. I agree with that, BUT: In those extra 81 hours, you can be making about 1million/hour from your new double nature runes!!! So wouldn't you end up (81-43) 38million GP ahead using the fire rune method (since by the time someone would be done with air runes, someone who used the fire rune method could have been RCing double natures for 81 extra hours, thus 81mil extra profit)???? So, by that logic, fire runes seems like the OBVIOUS winner out of all of the methods, assuming you don't have 60mil that you can live without. Any care to show me where I'm wrong/help my thinking? EDIT: Oh, and BUMP for an AMAZING guide :D   :!:
