No it's not. It might say that, but it's not. If the delay was completely removed, there would probably be problems with the game not saving before you logged into the other world. I think that you're right, Jordanweb. I think that the game needs some time to save. But I'm not a Java expert, so I might be wrong. At the beginning, with a small number of servers the time to transfer profile would have been extremely low. With the increase in the number of servers, the window to save the profile needs to be bigger. I'm sure, though, that the 30 seconds choice is mainly to limit profits that can be made as mentioned by others above. I'd suggest that it could be quite safely halved without affecting the saving of profiles. I don't think it would be able to be removed completely without them rearchitecting how profile updates happen. Actually I have tested it, after you logout the highscores update immediately after you logout. And logically jagex would auto-update the highscores at the end of the log off task, not in the middle of it. So I really think they could change it to around 3-5 seconds (incase of glitches or connection problems). But there is no programmable need for 35 seconds. Its just a white lie jagex tells so they don't have to say "Sorry miners, but we have to limit the amount of cash you can make". And for the person who said it would be 25m per hour, your forgetting the fact that every 1 else will be able to log in/out that fast, so there would be rarely a world where its not mined.

Instead of them being lower level differences, I think they should just have 1 portal, and limit all who you can attack. For instance, every 1 is in 1 big room, however, you can only attack people lvl 20 below or above you. (I am lvl 103 so I could attack lvl 83-123). My friend who is a lvl 99 pure (1 def with 99 range, 99 str, 95 magic) can pretty much own at the medium BH portal because no 1 is higher lvl then him (hes lvl 99). However, since I am lvl 103 I am stuck with all these 120+ clans and pretty much the lowest person on the food chain.

You have a major flaw in your theory. Your only taking into account that gold enters the economy from the Buy-X. It also leaves the economy that way too. I have yet to sell 1 thing to the NPC stores, however I have bought loads of arrows. While money is entering the economy through the general stores, money is also leaving the economy the same way.

I think they mean if your name is offensive. Instead of them banning you like they usually do, they could just make you choose a new name.

guthan spears are going up too. I currently have the max put up to buy a guthans spear, been a day and still no offer.

Actually, jagex is smarter then that. If there is barely any supply (IE: every 1 is trying to buy it and people rarely sell it) then the price will go up. and the opposite for selling. When ever prices get to what the need to be, then there will be the same amount of buyers as sellers for every item, and prices will be what they need to be based on supply and demand, however with everyone selling all their junk in their bank, prices are lowering (It will raise back up after it settles in a few months)

Your acting like every one made a profit... Just as much people lost money there then other people has gained. Your just viewing it on 1 type of item, rares and other things are going up. I had the max money for guthan's spear put in the GE for a week, and still have not been able to buy it yet, and the price keeps on going up. The reason most things go down is because theres big supply, and small demand. Easter egg is going to come back up, discontinued items will ALWAYS continue to raise, yes it might have a bad month, but it will always continue to raise as long as no more eggs are entering the game, and people are still wanting to buy them. (Most useless rare ever) I am 100% happy that potions are going down, I can buy prayer pots for training cheaper. Yes lets buy prayer pots just to resell, I am pretty sure jagex wanted this in the game[/sarcasm] That is because more is coming into the economy and less is leaving, unlike bronze arrows which is going to always be low (even without the buy-x/stores) People actually pick up d bolts, because they cost 7k ea, rarely do d bolts leave the economy while d bolts enter the economy all the time from hunters. Things that cost more will always continue to lower as long as there is more entering the economy then leaving.

Wow, common sense please? Every 1 is trying to buy discontinued items, that is why prices go up, small supply, big demand. Therefor, you can easily sell a rare if you want to.

What jagex is doing, is limiting how you can do it. They know for a fact that they can't stop it from changing things. However now there is only 2-3 ways to transfer cash for RWT. Now they can do alot more to stop it. For instance, since the Grand Exchange update, I have yet to trade 1 time, so from the decrease in legit trades, they can now be able to track unlegit trades better. Also from the decrease in trades, they can now create a log of all the uneven trades. (Because there is less trades and because of the item prices from GE). I approve of their updates 100%.

The more money in the economy, the less its worth. If it takes a hour to make 200k now (Example). and you are trying to buy something worth 1mil, it would take 5 days.' Well if its harder to make cash (IE: 100k per hour) then what ever used to cost 1mil would cost 500k now.

This is more like "Give a mile, and they take an inch more". Theya lready have it all programmed in, just add it 6 new boxes and walaa!

Its really nice. Beware though, some people will take it, slap their name on it, and call it their own.

I love the first hunter outfit, looks really great and is unique.

What weapons were you guys using, what level was the other guy, etc. Give more information to help jagex figure out whats causing it.

What does World of Warcraft call their maps? I bet if you Google what they call theirs, you will get even bigger of a result.

Its probably cause there is more people, so it seems like theres more.
