Yeah I think I might just go for the shield because I dont really under stand why its slower ( :oops: ) and like you said I like to multi-task ( If I dont slayer tasks become unbearably long).

Ok to make this easier Im going to separate this into groups. 1.) Body Armour: Should I get Verac's, Guthan's, Bando's or all three? I currently only train with slayer so guthans could be useful as well as some other things that aren't slayer. But i have also heard good things about Bando's and Verac's. Im planning on getting bunyips but to get there, I will be using slayer. Note: I do have Bones To Peaches. 2.) Other Armour: Plain and simple should I get a DFS? I've had my eyes on it for a while but as of late I heard that it is easily out done by a rune defender. Also should I get rid of my Black D Hide and go with Karils for things such as mage protection and range training where I need defense instead of using Void Range. 3.) Weapons Seeing as I'm training for GWD, I'm raising all my stats. The one I leaset like to train is strength because I have to use a rinky dink D scim and compared to the whip its nothing that good. So I was wondering if I should buy a Sara Sword even though it uses up a useful shield spot. Also, when I have the money which most likely be for a while should I get an SGS or if not an SGS, which gs?

I think what they said was that there was going to be the quest and an actual event. Although I may be wrong.

For a task of 152 aberrants i got like 7 blue charms. Also I hear dark beasts drop lots of blues but I doubt you have 90 slayer.

Wear D'hide and pro melee. You'll still be hit pretty hard but its manageable. Also D'hide is rather light so you can wear it for basically the whole clue.

Would it be a good idea to go with torags, slayer helm, some food and bring along bones to peaches? Or do they hit too hard for that to be effective?

If i was you i would take a red companion on an easy route so that i could skip all tasks except for lumberjack and nail beasts. You should kill the nail beasts because they drop the greatest second in the whole skill of summoning. They drop talon beat charms which equals about 1k summoning xp PER crimson. And the charm is a 100% drop but isn't stackable so it might mean more banking but I think its well worth it.

Weapons include more then just god swords. I mean they did limit all the alchables that happen to be weapons or armor like air battlestaves, yew longbows, addy plates. But IMO thats a good thing cause mass alching for a level isn't an achievement.

Underwater That way when randoms pop up they look ridiculous!

You could try ranging wasilisk's although I'm not sure of their drops or charm rates.

Im a little unsure of what tasks I should black list, so what do you guys have black listed? I mean lately Ive been using as my only combat training source. When I have a task that I don't feel like doing but don't necessarily want to black list i usually cancel and end up with a much better task.

Would it be a good idea to bring an alternative weapon such as a whip or gs and switch to guthans spear for healing? Also same thing with swapping guthans helm with slayer helm just for healing.

I farm rannars and hen buy the snape grass just cause I usually need ppots in a hurry and cant be bothered by collecting the grass. Also you might want to try a lower leveled slayer mast and use Duradel for the 10th and 50th tasks. Just IMO

I would like to point out the the guy with the big sword is my avatar Also Im happy but also dreading this quest. Im happy because its been "promised" for a while and I also love new quests. But Im dreading it because its just going to be a awesome new quest with a cliff hanger that is going to take a year to get a sequel, not even a conclusion.

Whatever. The community is fine in my opinion. It matches the real life one. You have the immature ones, the stuck up ones, the nice ones and the fun ones. If you want a better community for yourself, surround yourself with the kinds of people that you want to be around and if a person you don't like happens upon you, treat them kindly. Grind up bones and get some ecto-slime for the basement of the ectofungus. Then talk to one of the ghosts there and they will give you some ecto-tokens.

I remember before summoning came out i asked some people that were training in my area if they were excited for the new skill update, summoning. But because they hadn't read the first development guide, which title was "?????- Part". So some of them called me a liar or that i was trying to get peoples hopes up. People should really read the front page......
