  1. Monks are odd, as there's no set level for no burn. The percentage burnt gets way way smaller. They're good to start cooking at 90, I did them from 92-94 and burnt... <5 or something I think. :P
  2. Well, there's the experience, but there's also the time. I'm pretty sure it takes longer to finish every quest than it does to get most 99s. I personally like that the new quest needed 69 smithing. We need quests with higher reqs. Already there's so little value on quest capes, it's sad. With both achievement diaries done as well as all quests, I would like our kin to be more recognised. :P At least until I get my Herb/Agil cape.
  3. Just do birds until you can do swamp lizards. Then use those until desert salamanders, and then those until red Salamanders, and then those until around 75 if you want to be efficient. Most people go to red chins WAY too early for them to be good.
  4. Okay then, here's my solution. Get 90 Defense and THEN use a rune defender. :P Really, that offense is totally awesome. And as long as you use Guthans/B2P to heal instead of an inventory of food, it's not that bad. I tried out a d sq for a while, but I really did miss the extra attack. Get a Rune defender or twelve.
  5. I had 140k I foolhardily bought when I was training firemaking (moved onto maples when I realised how stupid I was). They sold gradually. Just keep taking them off and putting them back on the GE. Sometimes it acts weird and only buys from new offers.

    Bandos

Or, you know, Oo'Glog. Real men do it with hot springs.
  7. Actually, yeah, this is technically a discussion. :? I really just mean the question's been answered several times accurately, and every post in this thread in the future will be answering the same question the same way. ;)
  8. Actually, I'm not new. I just forgot my old password so made this account a few months ago. :P I was a Tiffer when I first started RS almost 4 years ago. Although on this account I was more active. Quite a large post per day ratio. :P Oh, haha, sorry for posting on an intentional lock.
  9. Okay, this really has no discussion value whatsoever now. :P
  10. The Guthix book attack bonus is... nothing, really. Same with the defense. You'd never notice it. If you want the +4 magic def, get a sara book instead. Or a Mind Shield. But I suggest getting a Rune Defender for multipurpose, a D Square for harder monsters, and save up for a Dragonfire shield.
  11. No gold gaunts, eh? Hm... For speed, doing addy plates is it. But keep in mind that Smithing is an expensive skill ALREADY. Cheap would be making cannonballs. You make a lot of cash doing that, so you may want to consider doing a few k so that that profit can pay for other techniques. I would go with Mithril Bolts. You lose a very small amount, if you feather them. And it's fairly fast exp.
  12. Ah yes. D Squares are ftw. But I personally use a rune defender on slayer. With a whip, it's quite amazing offense, and it's also +20 in most defense anyway, so it's not like your completely forgoing shield defense.
  13. Ahhh, consider yourself lucky. Dusties are one of the best, if not the best, slayer assignments to get. Especially if you have the Slayer Helm. Wear strong melee armor, bring an inventory of fair food (lobsters are great), and buy some Bones to Peaches tablets if you haven't unlocked it yet, as these will allow you to stay as long as you need to. Also bring some alching runes, because they drop a lot of Red Dhide Vams and such.
  14. The thing is, I doubt he'd remember his postcount from 3 months ago. So I think his count was lowered by a mod to make up for spammy posts.
  15. Eh, just get an obby shield. Little strength bonus, and the same great ranged def as granite. Orrrr get a Rune Defender. Orrrr get a Crystal Shield.
  16. Get 60-70 mage, then we'll talk. :P
  17. There are a few guides in PMG, none are AoW, though. And yeah, you eat a lot while doing it. That's normal. I still eat at least 2 monks per run with a regen bracelet and rapid restore on usually, and I'm 99.
  18. Was it 210 before the 3 month rollback? I had 1.4k posts when the rollback happened. Or, have you been spamming forums here shamelessly trying to raise your postcount? Because if you do that, your postcount WILL be lowered.
  19. The myth I was aware of was Saradomin Swords, but even that's ridiculous. Some noobs just decided to tell people they got them from revs so that a million people would try to find them.
  20. Oh god, the idea is bloody ridiculous. You can't be serious. -.- Even though they're made to seem like pkers, they're still monsters. Jagex gets them to drop dragon daggers, glories, and small amounts of gp. You're not supposed to hunt them. Why in the world would they drop an SGS? That's a GWD item. I just... can't say how much is wrong with the idea.
  21. Greataxe, woo. Only 350k for it now, but woo. Every single Barrows item received at least once. That was my 3,924th run. 8-)
  22. Runecrafting. Because it's less boring, makes you a buttload of money. :)
  23. I'd just use non-degrading armor and try to find some teams. Though, it could also be good to use the time it takes to get the torso to make enough money for a Bandos Plate...
  24. I'll just stick with Duradel, since he's gotten even better with the tasks he assigns. Mazchna if you really only want points most, though.
  25. I've done over 30 in a row now, without one going over 50k worth. AND they take 2 clue trips longer than the old ones did. I would never hunt for level 3s again, but I'd do them if I got them from Slayer or whatever.
