  1. Slayer. For that kind of level, it'll barely take any time at all, and you can be constructive with your combat.
  2. Ah yes. Sometimes I forget how hard it is to live without a Quest Cape. >_>
  3. Goo. ...I'm not sure how one could come to the conclusion you're supposed to pronounce either one with a short U. :P
  4. If you don't have a charged Teleport Crystal, you can walk there by leaving Ardougne by the north, and heading west for a very very long time until you see a big gate. Go through it, and follow the path, and you'll get to the woods you know and love.
  5. You're just having bad luck. The charm rate on those has always been around 1 out of 3.
  6. How many hours? 8? I don't know. I got full infinity minus the wand and mage book in 5 days or so.
  7. I agree, but they don't respect the person, they respect the Cape. A la the title of the thread. It takes a lot more than a pretty summoning cape to get my Human Respect.
  8. Tell me about it. Saturday night and every single black demon world is packed... Dags last night, greaters before that, bloodveld before that... they're all full of people now.
  9. D'aww, shoot. I put a lot of work into that. :P Mmm, yeah, you did make them a lot better. But you still need to put a little bit more thought into each monster's miniguide thing. :) Here are a few teeny tweaks I'd do: Call this setup something like "average ranged setup", and then on each monster say if they're better to use Void on, or if you need the ranged bonus, instead of having all equipment setups as similar as they are. For Aviansies: Zammy/Sara dhide top and bottom with a granite shield, Verac helm, and Arma pendant works best for most people. The zammy book adds too little offense, when that spot can be replaced with a Dfire or granite shield. Chaps in place of the Verac Skirt add a lot of offense, which is nice. Mention different ranged weapons. Bronze knives with a Zammy book are awesome cheap training on low-ish defense monsters. The Rune Cbow is amazing on high defense monsters, hitting even Barrows Brothers with their super high defense very often. Mith bolts are the commonly used ammo, but addy aren't that much more expensive, and hit very high, so you could consider using those on monsters that give you a little more income. Check out the Mutated Bloodveld, for their seciton. They have higher hp than the slayer tower ones, are even easier to safespot, and have better drops, while their ranged defense stays quite low. You might want to put in a few favorite safespots, instead of directing them to the other guide. Black Demons spot here, by the way. And you'll want to use a Rune Cbow against them. Bone is way too slow, and you can't take full advantage of the very common high hits. They have low defense, but they ARE level 172s, so not weak enough for knives/bone bolts. This is getting so good. AoW for sure if it gets finished. :D
  10. Dwarves drop them. It's not like it's a special drop from ice warriors. :P I've gotten one in my entire RS career, and almost ALL monsters drop them. I'm fairly sure it's something like 1/10,000. And no, you don't need to do Legends to receive it as a drop.
  11. Everything Bruno said is very true. You can't claim it's bad when people on NON slayer monsters would be using a Neit, which has the same defense bonuses. Agreed Yeah. I want this badly. Who every decided that slayer was only for meleers?
  12. Aviansies? Granite shield torag helm Blessed dhide top and bottom Rune cbow with mith or addy bolts If you're getting hit too much, switch to Torag's legs. Oh, and unlock b2p instead of using tabs. Bringing 1k nats, a fire staff, and a mud staff is nice.
  13. Haha, thanks, but I'm indisposed momentarily. Maybe some other time. Drop me a line. ;)
  14. As with most skills in RS, training methods are only good when you're a good amount above the required level. Stick with the lower ones for now.
  15. Not by much. There's just more cushion for using worse items. I haven't bought a DFS yet, so I use granite for group trips. It's a lot harder to solo without top notch items, though...
  16. Oh I'd say... 1.8x as many brews as restores. And a couple range pots, maybe. It's frustrating when they get drained by brews, though... Also, bring two 4 dose prayer pots for KC.
  17. For BH, str. For normal RS, att. But you will have better success if you round them both.
  18. Nope, no Sara or Bandos followers. Use a Barrows helm, not a Neit. You need the defense. Torag/Verac.
  19. Actually, Magic logs cut the same speed from 75-99. Slow. Yews are always going to be better cash per hour.
  20. This is a good Arma setup, but you may want a V Skirt instead of K.
  21. Actually, there's recent demand on gathering skills now. So fishing is quite a good money maker again. Lobsters, swordies, sharks, they're all rising and are quite high. Yews aren't bad for cash, but they *are* quite slow...
  22. First sentence in my post. "It's true.". :P Yeah, Slayer Points are annoying, but they're better than nothing. It's something special to come from finishing a task instead of no reward at all. Hard, yes, but it makes you want to train more slayer. A good idea by Jagex in my opinion. Aha, thank'ye. I forgot about those...
  23. I'm going to guess your aware of the errors in image cropping on a lot of hideaways, and text size on several headers. Can't list them all, but Which Obelisk to Use is one of them. :P
  24. Huzzah! My favorite guide is back. To reinstate my old post here, 10/10 for being so perfectly detailed, researched, thought out, and just plain useful! In no other guide have I seen such appreciation for the .3 second differences that make all the difference in skilling.
  25. Full void on dusties = nono. :P You need that facemask. Even using a safespot, they usually hit you once. And that lowers your stats by quite a bit. Equipment needs tweaking on most of these, but I'm so very glad to see this guide back! =D>
