  1. Probably somewhere in a Postbag, seeing as it said it was via the WoM.
  2. Construction is anywhere from 60-100m (or even more) in price, but it's very fast. Crafting is very slow, but there are ways to do it cheaply. 20m could probably get you enough ruby bracelets, if the prices are the same as I remember. It'll be slow, though.
  3. When I made some beaver pouches and scrolls I used them up at Magics, thinking they could speed it up. I spent hours with them, and they didn't forage a single item, and the scrolls never worked. But normally, foragers DO make items out of nothing. You get a message in your chatbox saying "Your familiar has produced an item!", and you withdraw it from their inventory. But keep in mind you can't put them BACK in their inventory, so it's wise to withdraw when you're at the bank.
  4. I don't think Magic should be combat. :P Lunar ftw.
  5. Good luck selling for that. :P I've had a few k bracelets up for a while
  6. I'm glad you think so, as that's probably going to be my next 99.
  7. I'm sure it does fluctuate, so it'd be worth looking into. But remember that people pay for speed, so the lower the hide, the lower the loss. It's unlikely, is all.
  8. You'd have to watch prices to find out, but it would be logical for greens to be the cheapest.
  9. As was said, it would be cheaper to sell the deaths and buy chaos, as chaos is .5x the tokkul of deaths, but around .4x the cost.
  10. It depends on how cheap you want it. Buy them tanned if you don't feel like tanning 30k of them yourself. Buy them normal if you want to save some cash. Buy the highest if you value speed over cash saved. Buy greens if you want to save more money. CKellingc does have a point, though. You can lose very little just making jewelry. It's excruciatingly slow, but it IS quite cheap. I'm not sure what the exp rates per hour are on those, so I can't calculate how much money you'd need to make per hour to be able to do hides.
  11. Wrong. There's no more advantage there than there would be for, say, getting a better night's sleep than everyone else. Where's the Handicapper General when you need her? We need to smash some computers that are better than ours.
  12. The easiest way is crafting dhide bodies. You lose a lot of cash, but it's good speed, and very straightforward. With herblore, it's hell. I've been calculating ways to get 82, and there's nothing easy. Potion prices fluctuate so much, there's a huge risk. I personally just spent 15m on harralander tar ingredients, made them all, and in that time they dropped from 260 each to 210 each. And I have 80k of them. And that was only from 67-73 herb.
  13. Alch while walking to craft air runes? And mine gold at the crafting guild? *has spent too much time in f2p. :o *
  14. It's normal enough. It's around 1/400 or so. But bad luck happens to everyone. It's not 1 drop every 400 kills, it's a 1/400 chance every kill.
  15. Bahaha. What a question. It would mean unfair upper hands that some could have, and others couldn't, no matter what happens. Having high system reqs isn't unfair. We all play Optional High Detail... it's not stopping players with 64 megs of ram on a 300 GHz computer from being able to play at all. It's optional, meaning, an option for people with better computers. There's no advantage there. Think of it this way: There's a low detailed mode to go with for people with lesser computers.
  16. I was really expecting to click on a "news link" here and hear "we're no strangers to looooveee... you know the rules and so d-". But yeah, even though this sounds like a magical solution to all our problems, it really isn't. If hydrogen engines are developed soon enough, we'll be in the clear. We don't need new ways to find oil. We need to get off our huge dependency on it. God... if this works, we'll be lose 20 years on alternative fuel development, and we'll have about a teaspoon of the ozone layer left. Sigh.
  17. are u sure? Yep. Btw, the sky is falling. Tell your friends. You don't find it a bit ridiculous that Jagex would discontinue an item and make it tradable? After what happened LAST time they did that?
  18. Hm. I used to do that with Guthan's too, but I heard that Jagex stopped it from working. Although I haven't tried it myself in a while...
  19. That's rather shortsighted. A 99 is a 99. Maybe not respected, but there's still a lot good about it. When I go for 2,000 total I'm planning on getting a few nooby stats up that I dislike training. I'll get firemaking to 99, fishing to 90, 95 or so feltching... all stats that most people have, but they're still stats. edit: oh god feltching. best typo evar.
  20. Though the crystal is faster. Attack bonus isn't ALL that matters. I'd rather KO someone with Dragon Darts than a rune xbow.
  21. DFS > Rune Defender > Obby/whatever. But ranging them is still nice.
  22. As someone with 25 Rune Defenders, I can tell you that they higher leveled ones seem to drop more often than the lessers. If your stats are good enough (80s), attack the higher ones, but if they're lower (70s) attack the lesser ones, as you'll last longer without food, and kill them at a faster rate. When you're higher, their own stat differences barely matter.
  23. Impressive things will. People will want screenshots and such. Think of all the people buying back their Bandos sets because they want to see how it looks with the new graphics. Hmm. Maybe I should buy my Arma Helm/Robin back before then, just in case.
  24. Supposedly it's an equation derived between Magic level and Defense level. But normal defense level doesn't make as much of a difference as Magic does.
  25. Mith tasks are easy with a decent ranged level. You can finish them in one trip easily with a Bunyip.
