Triquos is onto something with the abyssal clothing letting you dodge high hits. New armor will probably have a gimmick like that. Negative defense bonuses, but the enemy can't hit higher than 20, or something like that. You know how Verac's effect is sort of like uber high attack? Maybe some new armor will be like uber high defense. :?

The day I clicked "create account".

I never respect people based on their combat level, anyway. But if you must, just subtract 8 or so, and you'll have even overcompensated for the levels they cheated on by using summoning.
-
Haha, livening up Slayer Tower with your hides. I love you Soma. I still pray on them just because I'm always surprised at how much they hit. 90 magic and defense, with Karils, and I still can't kill enough in a trip to fill my inventory with good herbs. :| Maybe it's just me, though.

Haha, yeah, that's a good idea. RC with a money method, and pay for a buyable stat. 99 construction only costs 70m or so if you plankify your own logs with the butler...

Set goals. Smallish goals, but goals. Try to craft 10k laws. Get 83 hunter. Get a certain total level. There's lots you can do.

With the new update, it's possible to get the same task twice in a row? Huh. I'm fairly sure that the types of tasks you recieve are based on your combat level, and the master you're using. But different masters generally give monsters that are similar. For instance- Chaeldar gives fast exp ones. Large amounts of fire giants, dagganoths, bloodveld, etc. Duradel gives "fun" ones that usually have good drops. Gargoyles, Abberants, Black Demons, Abyssal Demons, etc. Mazchna is like Chaeldar Jr., but giving weaker ones in smaller numbers. And Vannaka is like Duradel Jr. Weaker, smaller numbers, but better drops than Mazchna. Also, your name makes me miss Ozzy and Millie. :P

Well, it's only faster for late 80s+ agility. I'm 82, and I'm going to use Ape Atoll for a while more. Brimhaven until Wildy, Wildy until 70 (or 75 would be even better.), Ape Atoll until... 88 or so. Heh.

You could already do that with a SGS, bunyip, and armadyl. ...Yyyeesss, but this would make it even better. :P At least when you're on task. Let's say most people wear a noseclip, salve, and Armadyl. They'll hit fairly hard because of the salve, but they'll also GET hit fairly hard, and with slayer helm instead of the noseclip, THAT can be your stat booster instead of the Salve, with a fury giving you 15 more magic defense, which would help a lot. Just clarifying my point. It's not like no prayer abberants were impossible or anywhere near it, but this makes them a cakewalk.

Wait, was that referring to me? Because I agree with that, and have said it on several occasions. Because people who only want to QC won't get yelled at by others, and a lot of the people who are scared of free chatters.

Think about this, Jagex band and/or permanently mutes a ton of players, lots of high leveled people. But lets think about what reasons. Improper language. Honestly, who in todays' world doesn't swear occasionally? Jagex rule breaking (account sharing etc.). These have no effect on real people. They didn't do something horrible. Sure, they should be banned for it, but they're still normal people. They're still normal people. I know a ton of respectable people that have been punished by Jagex, but you can't judge their entire character on that. Look at Muggi; he was a bug abuse ban. That's not so terrible that he should never ever have any rights whatsoever (ever :anxious: ). I don't know why some of you are so vehement about Jagex's rules like that. Obviously I would never break any of their rules, here I am with almost 4 years of playing, and I've never had a black mark. But the people have broken the rules aren't worthless.

Holy crap, yes.

Hey, this emoticon has a use. :ugeek: But yeah, it's similar.

I'd really like to do this sometime. I'm sick of maging. for this guide coming back.
-
Hah! Awesome. Yes, if you have the gloves already, go ahead. If you don't, but you like FoG, go ahead and get them. But I personally don't find FoG worth it otherwise.

Thus why I stand by Hobgoblins. Your def will be too low to use the safespots on the island, as they attack you quite a bit while getting set up there, but sacrificing a law for a limp is a nice profit, banking every full load. Although I'm not sure if you'd make up for the arrow price... hm.
-
Mmm, if you were to pray, Piety would work quite well, I'm sure. 25% more defense would work very well against range/melee, and the quicker kills would be awesome. Though with no extra prayer pots, the 10% defense prayer would probably be best, as it'd last through the whole thing.

Does PhpBB3 allow Mercury? I liked that one. I dislike so much blue.

I'll probably get rid of the worst Duradel task for me, Terrorbirds, and then get the mask. Then learn to make the rings. Then, if I decide not to blacklist turoths or kurasks, I'll learn to fletch the bolts and arrows.
-
It doesn't stack with a black mask, right? So I'd use a black mask, and wear Barrows gloves.
-
You need Phyto's Guide to Ranged! Sadly, it's not recovered yet. You're f2p, correct? I suggest Hill Giants for a while, but you can also move onto Mossies in Varrock Sewers. I know how full the Hillies are, so maybe buy a ton of bronze arrows and shoot at the Hobgoblins near the crafting guild, telegrabbing limps and laws.
-
I believe the best spot is now Lumbridge Castle, banking on the top floor.
-
Hm. Nor have I. I'm fairly sure they're not too strong, so unless you're too worried, don't pray on them. Wear Guthans plate and legs, and bring a spear and helm to sue when you need to heal. Just the same as going against any other semi-hard melee task.
-
Heh. I was about to say that. I think it's a good idea. If the Mutes are on these worlds, no one gets frustrated with them for using QC, and it's more commonplace. And I, being someone who likes his privacy, have liked the worlds occasionally. For a long time I'd had my private chat off almost indefinitely, and on these worlds, I can pretend not to know how to work it or something, and people leave me alone. :)
