LOL so your blaming merch clans for your failure to predict graphs ? Didn't you realise that a lot of people thought OMG BH so bought sharks well in advance expecting them to go up , and then after reaching a peak sold.... THIS WAS NOT THE WORK OF MERCH GROUPS , this was purely anticipation for an update or date. The same happens every haloween / christmas , People expect them to go up so buy 2 weeks before because they believe it will be up by that date ... AS loads of people do this the price skyrockects but then they realise ooo i can sell now and make a profit , inturn the market gets flooded and the price goes down before the actual event.

Umm.. Actually no. Even with most buyouts the items come through at max after 20 - 30 mins as there is a lot of supply on the market therefore you saying whenever you need to buy armour (who buys that every day anyway) is actually not valid. Did it not ever occur to you that your unable to buy strawberries duely to the fact of suplly and demand ? How many do you know who collect strawberries in large quantites.... However how many farmers do you know who need their straberries to pay the farmers to look after their crop? Thats right a lot more of the second. This means there is more demand than supply so NO WONDER you cant buy it instantly. In this GE era anyone who can't buy an item max price within 1 minute believes it has been bought out by these 'merch clans'. Before the GE to get those items you would never be able to get them instantly and would most likely have to go to w2 and spend a long time looking for a seller... Would you have called that a buyout ? Also with most merch clans they are to small time to hold an item more than 2 -3 days so just have some patience! Or just leave your offer in at max or this is a new one... COMPROMISE , Runescape offers a variety in nearly all the equipment . Say you cant get your D med in 20 minutes max , why not settle for another helmet ? Hardly anything will be changed. I am not condoning merchanting clans , all am i saying is that people need to stop thinking everytime they cant buy an item max , it is bought out and then start cursing at merch clans for it.

Craven although how i can see your theory working there is one part i doubt from personal experience, that is that you gain the points and then just lose them so you are in theory back to the same level of LSP prior to the drop. This is because when i managed to get an armadyl hilt from lootshare , i went and missed a 4 man hilt and then a duo skirt. This is in theory should have given me roughly 20 m lsp ? IF lsp didn't go negative. However it was proved to me that i didn't infact have that amount of lsp because when i went and killed guards with lootshare in fally , i received not ONE drop , the players was level 50 and it was his first time ever using LS. It took roughly 2 months of godwars coinshare / daily other things to get back to what id call stable LSP and started receiving drops again.

No i bought min and sold max a few hours later. Its a lot safer than waiting for the update

You need to know when the item will rise , i didnt just get *lucky* with those merches , i watched the market and saw the melee peices going up in value, so i bought the plates and then next *valuable* 3a with the ammys. Plus solo merchers do nothing bad for the economy they just go along with the normal price wave. Try solo merching and tell me it doesn't take skill ;)

Dude, you just made my total net worth in less than a day. The catch 22 of runescape these days is that in order to make money, you need to have excessive amounts of money already (or epic amounts of luck, but i'm sticking wiht the first for this argument). For exalmple, but im not isngling you out, you spent ~107m on 2 amulets, and then resold them for ~118m, a 11m profit. Your briefly satisfied, but chances are, before long you'll do it all over again and make even more money. THAT is why markets crash and THAT is why people hate merchenters. The underlying fact of Runescape is that everything these days requires some greedy merchent to keep it running. That is the main reason we are in a global economic crisis, so will people please learn that in Runescpae it can't do much good. I'm not saying that the RS economy will collapse, because it's only a game after all. BUT pretty soon JaGex will get wise, put in some impliments like they did with RWT, and then you'll be on the floor crying. Actually markets crash when noone buys anything. People hate merchers because they have more money than them , people hate manipulators because they missuse the ge for their own personal gain. And what do you think ive done wrong ? You sound to me like your saying using the ge to buy low sell high is wrong ?
