Not to sure on the smithing sorry , i just know thats the technique =P For the mage you should wear a part of sc armour ,negative mage equipment and then cast stun or anything really. Its 6 times because the bonus from sc armour stacks with the gloves.

If you want to use sc armour you can stun in it for 6 times exp , the melee armour also works for this . When i had mage brawlers i humidifyed in the wildy. For the smithing bralwers you could use sc hammer and tele with ancients to the ruins west of the bandit camp. Run to the anvil there and then use a glory to tele back to edge. Hope i helped

Exactly... So its needs a use , increasing the potential for good drops would cause people to use it as it may give profit.

Not enough people use it though , as it is near impossible to sell on ge and is seen as pure junk.

The more rare the drops, the less of that item are in the game, the less of that item in the game (and the demand still high), the price will continue to go up, not lower :wall: Edit: Spirit shields are ~45k, is this too much for you? Currently they're not pvp drops ... so how could it make less of them in the game? if a small amount is dropped in PvP And i was reffering to shields such as divine and elysian which when reading my post is pretty obvious. :wall:

PvP armour and to some extent all of the PvP weapons is now considered by many as pure junk and does not even sell for min price on the ge. This is to do with that fact that the normal armour only lasts for an hour and the corrupt versions only last for 15 mins! Even though these items have amazing stats , what incentive is there to use this armour ? when an item like torags is a cheap alternative that does not disintergrate after 1 hour and costs 3k an hour to use unlike some of the armour which can costs 3m+ an item. I propose that Jagex give these armour's a use. So that pk'ers can actually sell their pvp armour drops and people actually begin to use them. I believe that a system should be implemented that while wearing pvp armour or weapons the chance of recieving high levelled loot is increased. This could be adapted so that the more armour you wear the bigger the potential loot could be. New items should also be introduced with this change. Items that are unbuyable on the ge atm such as d claws or spirit shields could become extremely rare drops , this may cause some to enter the game and maybe lower the prices of such usefull yet unavailable items. This change would cause the people who pk for drops to actually use this armour as it could actually give them a profit with kills , unlike atm where its so expensive that you have to have very high pk points to profit with the drops while wearing it. Any thoughts ?

Forgetting i was in a pvp world , withdrawing all cash 124 m and walking to the ge shortcut from edge. I realised i was in pvp world after a blitz splashed (thank god) so i used shortcut and managed to log safely =D

Sorry, my earlier post I had just rushed through the thread. And, after re-reading it I saw your post. What you say about the clan merchanting is incorrect, it depends on what TYPE of clan you're in. The basic Flipping group or the clans with 100's of members that BUY OUT an item so that it DOES rise 5% per day. Me and a few others built up a channel (#Ge.M) For that exact reason, and became the BIGGEST buying out channel. Whatever item was set was bought out within seconds, and, of course came the 5% rise. We couild hold for well over a week if we wanted to, or even push it to two weeks depending on the item. The profits coming in were just pure amazing. And, Harrinator. That's precisely what the two of the types are. The third, being the clan flipping groups. Yeh sorry i know there are very organized clans out there who do always make an item rise a lot ( i.e. crystal seeds atm) and stick to the the sale price given. I was refering to the clans like acidy , cmrobins etc. which most people have mentioned in this post.

Because i can afford it. I will use armadyl over d hide because: It looks good It provides a small difference in accuracy which does add up. Also whats more usefull a load of cash ? or an item that does increase your stats by a little bit.

Tbh those who clan merchant are even getting the short straw. With solo merchanting you can make a nice 4 m + a day with a decent amount to start with. Clan merchants rely on leaving all your money in one item that MAY rise for numerous days and then selling. In that time you can make a lot more with solo merching.

Ive only had 1 out of my last 6 arma trips been dry. With 2 of the trips containing 2 items. Its all down to luck. For me i put drops like this All armour 1 :50 hilt 1 :100

Gratz 6/10 because 4 man is way to easy :P and its only a drop. Go solo one :thumbup: But you get one extra for staying there with 14 m in invent \ so 7/10.
