I have to agree with you, the fact that it takes 99 smithing to create an armour that anyone with 40 defense can wear is in my opinion stupid. I think they should have made full rune smithable at level 60 giving space for up to 4 armour types, ( if each armour set took 10 levels to master.) However I think it would be difficult for them to change it now as they would have to shift around minning, because the sudden influx of people that could now smith rune would screw minning over. Whatever jagex does I hope it's good.

I have to agree, seriously this huge lack of decent updates and now they tell us thier working on heaps, but it wont come out for the next year or so? I have to hope that theres a flood of new updates and that things start to get back on track soon. I think if you get a 99 you deserve an advantage, I mean come on a +4 bonus or whatevers hardly going to decide the result of the fight, and its 13million xp. That deserves some kind of bonus.

I went to the ge for about a minute and my chat box was filled up with buying dragon Pick!!!!!!!!@@@@@@@@ in about 10 seconds and its world 12.

I haven't done most of the requirments but if im lucky ill be able to complete it in a day or 2. :thumbsup: Dragon pickaxe here I come.

Farming: 20% chance you can get your seeds back when you harvest herb, tree, alloment, bush, ect. Herblore: Able to make a new untradable potion the acts like a super defense, super attack and supper strength all in one. Fishing: New tradable fish. Cooking: Cook the new tradable fish and make it untradable thr fish heals 26hp and cures poison. Woodcutting: New tree. Fleching: Able to cut the new logs into speacil arrow shafts maybe 50 per log, these new arrow shafts act like normal ones but the final product has a 20% damage increase. I.e if the arrow you made gave a 100 ranged bonus it would now give 120 ranged bonus.

I agree I've really missed the constant updates and it's not helpfull to know it was summer.

um the way you are saying it, RC will become more profitable IF you mine your own ess .. True but the runes will also increase in price.

I thought it was more of a way to clean the GE out, but your idea makes sense. I wonder how this will effect runecrafting.

Sounds good I wonder how smithing will turn out if they update it.

Very good post though the only variables that cannot be define are future updates that will improve xp rates and I'm pretty sure we will see some in the near future. We recently have gotten the run update that boosted agility and mostly RC, but farming has been made faster which means an hardcore farmer now has more time to train other skills or go vinesweeper. Also the more skills that come out the harder it would become.

Hypocrite. Since when are cats such a big deal in the game? Well, they play an integral part in the Sophomin and Menaphos desert quests, there's a Tale of Two Cats, and Rat Catchers. That's quite a bit of clout. Though cat's aren't really childish... just look at Puss in Boots. Thats because sphinxes and cats are a large part of egyptian culture. D'oh. AND NO PENGUIN HATING HERE OR ELSE I GET THE TIF PENGUIN I was going to say that, but i gusse you beat me to it. Cats are almost sacred in egyptian culture and i think runescape resembles that. Also this interview was a fantastic read in my opinion. It was nice and simple.

Indeed im becoming quite the capable farmer \ Thanks I'm enjoying farming now, its been quite enjoyable.

Although I only have 1 99 I think its prepared me for my second. I feel i now know what to expect and how to cope with the sheer boredom.

If it's on fixed (the old SD layout) then you shouldn't really have a problem running SD if you didn't have a problem before RuneTek5. Just a note, I am SO happy they fixed the glitchy GE bars As am I, great update. :thumbup:
