They only have 87 members I think lol, they peaked at 50 something but yeah... not a great turnout.

I'd like to say that I love The Titans as a clan and as a community, with good friends there... but their forums are horrible lmao. ipbfree is so laggy, and full of security holes (as shown by a ton of their members and even admins getting their accounts hacked). It's one of the few web pages that seems to cause my firefox problems when clicking links, making the window freeze for a few seconds while it loads it. Another huge part of how good a clan site is to use is the bandwith and speed of the server it's hosted on, not just the forum type. We temporarily used this cheapass server while our main one was getting DDOSed, and it couldn't handle the hundreds of users we sometimes get at any one time and would crumble under the pressure and need to be fixed by our admins lol. I'm glad we have a good one now - we got a good deal on it cos it's owned by a colleague of a member, so it has a really good and stable host for forums + teamspeak for a lot less than commercial price.

:P We use IPB, originally paid for by a member to get it started and then we took donations from a ton of members including myself of small quantities, to reimburse that member. So it's basically paid for by the entire clan rather than an individual. We also have google ads which bring in about $25 AUD a month which covers the domain and hosting of our main webpage. Personally I think it's the best package - good security if you have a good webadmin, good customisation and really user friendly. Plus I'm just used to it lol.

Corruption approached EH for a fight on Sunday. We agreed to a 90minute cap Safe CWA fight, to start at 5:30pm EST. Fight day came and both clans massed, our turnout was looking weary to start with, but reached ~80 in Teamspeak just before the fight began, starting with 70 of them and jumping up to 75 within minutes. Corruption peaked at 78 in the arena (not including our returners, of course). We got off to an awesome start, Chris1791 tanked EH's first pile and got us a 3-0 lead. Corruption then maintained that lead and never got beaten by EH in kills at any one point. Our tanking was great, binding was superb and organisation was outstanding. We approached RDC on Sunday for a fight today, they gladly accepted and we agreed to RDC's timezone at 2:30pm EST | 7:30pm GMT start. Fight day came and we massed up, both clans started with around 60 people each. First 30minutes of the fight we're close, both clans we're doing great and getting KO's all over the shot, after that Corruption took the lead and managed to "win" the rest of the fight. Wouldn't go as far as dominated, because RDC still had high numbers and kept pretty close with us. After 1hour 30minutes both clans stopped and went to Members Gate for ending, Corruption had 25-30 more options than RDC, and both clans had around even people spread/returning. Corruption Starting: 180 Red Devil Clan Starting: 180 Corruption Ending: 192 (210, with people spread) Red Devil Clan Ending: 170 (190 with people spread) Good fight RDC, appreciated and fun as always. :twss: Special thankyou to THE clan for anticrashing and keeping ni at bay most of the fight! lol godbows seems pretty sick, but ranged already has the crystal bow maybe there could be like a super godweapon of guthix that owns in all three corners of the combat triangle? that would be cool Dragon claws can hit 115 damage in 1 hit, blitz+ags spec can hit over 99 damage, dark bows can hit 90+... what we desperately don't need is more powerful weaponry that you can use in pvp situations. Even f2p can hit 40s now with a dragon battleaxe. We need better armour or higher healing food, but not better weapons. This. What about a food that heals 20 for f2p, but could only be used in multicombat zones? ;) pizza > pizza > swordie is 32 hp in 1 round of combat, if you add new food to f2p you'd start needing over 100 people to ko a decent tank and it would make fights on f2p absolutely unbearable. The powerful weapons are on p2p (there are dragon weapons on f2p but they're still very rare) and that's where jagex need to focus on bringing offensive:defensive items back into balance. I don't understand. You are saying better food won't be good, but we should have better armour? Only on p2p, leave f2p exactly as it is. You were suggesting a new food for f2p.

yeah a 30+ person sniper unit is becoming a common thing for the top clans, it does make fights less fun but it's a very devastating tactic when used well. Was only a matter of time till the importance of snipe unites filtered down to the smaller clans.

I actually only got to be at the first 15 minutes of the fight because my laptop battery decided to die, so I went to an internet cafe but it closed at 9:45pm :P Surprised di fought for 10 hours, probably because they had an early advantage due to outnumbering us, though from what I hear they spent the majority of the fight just regrouping from new gate to spiders and back again. Di aren't happy with how the fight went so hopefully they'll accept another fight soon - one I can be at! :wall:

You can't advertise your clan website on the rsof so why would your clan use their official forums unless you're still based there? I hate rsof cause of the censor+strict moderating, always have and always will. I browse the recent updates forum for tips that might improve my playing, but that's it.

max opts requires 133 people... we have 135 members :lol: soon though, soon ;)

I think the teleblock on f2p is going to have a big impact on the number of people pking on f2p now. Whenever corr have fought anywhere below 20 wilderness, we've hardly got a single kill because of people teleporting. Now we can pk wherever we feel like and actually get kills, so we won't be confined to just deep wilderness any more. Should be fun :thumbsup:

Our warring prowess is obviously what makes us stand out from the outside, but from an internal perspective our community is really outstanding.

We have subforums already set up in case we decide to venture over there :P they're just hidden from members atm. Can't say any more until it comes out though lol.
