Smelting Gold with gauntlets is a little less xp then addy and only (edit) 325 loss and if you use varrock armor goes pretty quickly.

Grey chins at 78 range is fine, with cheap gear (D hide) instead of void I needed 2k-2.5k chins from 78-80 which when you hate range like I do is not such a big deal. Also 77-80 was my first time chinning so I probably wasn't allways hitting as many as I should have.

Do you or don't you tell people openly about playing Rs? If they ask about it sure. When talking to another RS player in real life, do you keep quiet? No. Would you even admit to one that you are playing Runescape? Yes. Would you play in public places? Used to play at school and the library so yes. Don't really care about getting logged not like anything happens if I do.
