Dunno, I was just really unimpressed the time I used a ford ranger for a few weeks. Terrible engine power.

In my experience (limited, I admit), small trucks are now more powerful than suv's or minivans. It makes a lot more sense to get one of those since they're able to carry more people and you're not really losing out on engine power. If hauling light stuff is all you're going to be doing, I suppose a small truck makes sense...I've just rarely seen that occasion :P

*vomits* Worst excuse for a pickup truck ever made. Toyota tacoma(hilux) Ford ranger Nissan pickup(frontier isn't as rugged) top 3 small pickups in the world. anything else is crap The words "small" and "pickup" should not be together :P
  7. Ahh yes, which you know from your extensive experience working at Jagex, correct? You honestly believe then that a person in community management's opinion holds the same value as someone who is actually working on these things? We don't even know what the question asked was about (all questions in the clan leader forums are hidden on the thread brainy posted on.) Like brainy said, swiftkit was not allowed because it was "3rd party software" - it's the automatic response to something that jagex aren't going to investigate any further. Of course not. What I do believe is that it would extremely unprofessional for the people who know what they're doing to deliberately mislead their co-workers, which is what you're suggesting. @Bows: Tripsis will do it, as soon as she gets here, as I said. Unfortunately I'm not able to access her private messages or I'd do it right now. EDIT: This will be my last post until we have more info for you guys, see Danq's post on page 24

  9. "hey lads, a player posted on the community forums about something called "autohotkey", asking if it was allowed or not" "eh, just say it's 3rd party" "alright see you at the pub?" or as you imagine it "Hey lads, a player posted: Recites the question exactly as it was written down" "Oh yes we are actually researching that right now and have deemed it a 3rd party program which we will not allow our players to use, as we find it breaks this rule and that rule." Get real. Lol. Your assumption carries no more weight then mine. edit: @michael then i'm sure you could be messaged as well
  10. This has already been sent to theancient and as stated before it will be sent to grimy and rocked as well as soon as tripsis gets here.
  11. Yet you state he got the response directly from the cheating team....
  12. So now there are only certain J-Mods you'll accept an answer from?
  13. There are still several scripts that are illegal, including a post from grimy quoting the offending script saying "that's illegal"; but it hasn't been removed.
  14. I also don't see anything in your moderator records indicating your forums have been spammed. Yes, I registered.
  15. You need an account to post, and having an account gives you access to all the forums. I don't see how keeping them private helps prevent spam?
  16. They're already gone. I can't make the forums public, but our admins have good (spammer-related) reasons for keeping them private. You're welcome to make an account and join in the discussion if you'd like to see the board. Spammer related reasons? What are those exactly?
  17. Canada has 21. Given they have one tenth of the population of the states that puts them on pace for 210 if they had the same population and GDP.
  18. No, because those aren't condoned and they are immediately removed. TEF admins have had a week to remove the offending scripts and they still haven't done so. If they have, they should make the forums public so I can check right now.
  19. I'd appreciate it if you didn't post provocations. It's a simple matter of copying and pasting Jagex's response to Darkdude's inquiry. Or perhaps I genuinely believe that? I'd also appreciate if we weren't accused of bias towards you guys, since, you know, we've been removing links to botting stuff for several years, but tough luck it seems. EDIT: And thanks, always nice to hear I've got a vote already :)
  20. I've no idea and am not privy to that information. Frankly, given the way things are going I doubt you'd be convinced by anything short of a live in-game announcement.
  21. Don't remember anyone saying that there was an email. We could also verify the content much faster if you'd make your forums public.
  22. Which scripts are you even talking about? They've been pmed to theAncient and will be to grimy/rocked shortly. Surely you understand we can't post them here.
  23. It's irrellevant anyway seeing as Jagex directly stated (given the scripts that caused this in the first place) that they were illegal.
  24. Of particular note is the fact that he specifically says touchscreens and similar are allowed. Thus, a program emulating a touchscreen in jumping straight to a point would ALSO be allowed, as the input would be indistinguishable from touchscreen input. So long as you aren't jumping and clicking in a single keystroke, a script would follow these guidelines perfectly. The onus is definitely on the TIF admins if they want to claim that a script that finds a point on the screen and jumps there is illegal, as this post very clearly puts it in the clear. Funny that the quote also says "it is fine because it doesn't allow the cursor to jump to a pre-defined spot".
  25. You've yet to prove it, yet you're taking action without regards to that. and there you go again deleting links in signatures without providing proof. TheAncient was sent a detailed pm about exactly what was wrong with the scripts posted. We've reiterated time and time again that if the offending scripts are removed, links will once again be allowed. Ancient's also been inactive because of final exams. Why would you send such critical information to only a single admin in the first place? Probably because he was the first one who came to mind. If that's the case I'm sure it can be sent to you as well.
