What a great game. I managed to watch most of it, but stopped after the third period (had to be at work early this morning). Glad to see Vancouver move on, curious to see how they fare against Nashville.

Well, actually, all tools have a legitimate purpose other than killing. Guns are not a tool in that manner, they were created solely for killing and injuring living things. As such, they are a weapon that is dangerous and I support their control. For every statistic you can produce that shows that gun control does nothing, I can produce another that shows it's effective. It's a moot point. I agree that if the public was all mature and educated enough to use guns properly, there would be no issue with no gun control. However, if the public was all mature and educated enough to use guns properly, there would be no need for guns at all.

No, because of two reasons: Firstly - knives are an important tool for non violent means. I already advocate the control of knives used specifically in human/human combat such as switchblades. Secondly - the chance of someone being able to kill 20+ people with a knife is minuscule compared to using a firearm.

Wowwww that sucks for the canucks. Played a great game, dominated the OT, and then that... That was the first game in the series where both teams actually played well. Van played great in the first three, and Chi played badly, vice versa for 4 and 5. Going to be an epic game seven, and with Schneider out they've got to play lou... Also happy Nashville made it, if only to see how long Shea Weber's beard gets after two playoff series'...

No they reseed them. So the second round works the same as the first, but reseeding the winners. I'm still not convinced Tampa will win, but I think PIT has real problems in the second round even if they do beat Tampa. Looks like my Boston prediction may come through, and already perfectly predicted NYR/WSH (made up for my awful PHX/DET prediction)

Well, that's the thing. Without a board, people will post little questions, on occasion. With a board, it would get out of hand pretty quickly or not be used at all.

Yeah, seriously. Epic choke jobs, Canada. I think the Bruins take the mtl series now. I don't see the canucks playing that badly in BOTH of their last two though, so I think they'll still take that. Definitely showing problems down the road though, particularly if they have to face the wings.

Oh, I'm already aware that alcohol is dangerous - I haven't seen real evidence to suggest it is so much more dangerous than marijuana that their legal positions should be reversed.
