The Obligatory Ice Hockey Thread
Seriously, Canada? Seriously? They should all play for the leafs.

Please Lock.
If so (and i'm not saying you are wrong), howcome countries that still follow through with some sort of death penalty often have the lowest crime rates? And i mean crimes from petty theft to large scale fraud/murder? Also, i for one can say that South Africa had a much lower crime rate when we still had the Death Penalty. Where exactly are these much lower crime rates? Why is violent crime (rape and murder) significantly higher in states that have the dp than those without?

Please Lock.
The death penalty has been proven to be completely ineffective as a deterrent time after time after time. Abolishing it is an important step in reforming our archaic justice system into something that actually functions.

What would the world be like without the United States?
No. See, this is the crap they teach in American schools. (I'm guessing you second-heard this from someone, or Canadian schools follow with American propoganda XD) If any revolution changed the way Europeans thought it was the French. The American was just too far away for anyone but the English (just the politicans mind you) to give a damn. And yet... Would the French have had the same revolution if they had not seen the American Revolution first? No doubt, Louis and Marie would have met the same unpleasantries, but would it just be another Monarch who took their place or a true transformation in the way that the nation is governed? More biased American history. Yes they would. A revolt against an colonial governor six thousand miles from the throne is child's play compared to a revolt against the king on his throne. It was a powder keg ready to explode eventually. If not in 1789, then 1794 or 1799. It would of happened shortly later. Exactly this - from my understanding of the French revolution the majority of the the participants from the lower classes knew next to nothing about the american revolution.

Judgement would be a good one probably. I can't remember what other abilities you have at that level...crusader strike maybe. TV once you get it as well. No it doesn't. A shaman can sit there chain purging my dots and quite honestly will barely drop in mana. You're a lock eh? Working on a lock right now (affliction/destro), hope to get into pvp more... What about dotting up the healer/fear?

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I'm not saying you should never kick out a mentally handicapped person, but you should have the decency to at least make a reasonable attempt to get them to be quiet and/or ignore little outbursts. If it's extreme, yeah, sure, kick them out...but if they're talking loudly once an hour or something like that I think kicking them out is a bit extreme.

US government repeals DADT
Not that uncommon, sure...hardly the norm though. While i'm sure many take it as a compliment, many find it uncomfortable - and their wishes need to be respected as much as anyone elses. Personally, I'd find it just as uncomfortable showering with women as I would with gay men...

US government repeals DADT
Lol reading comprehension etc etc Also a funny video http://gawker.com/5716043/barney-frank-makes-a-fool-out-of-conservative-reporter-over-dont-ask-dont-tell I admit, the nonchalance surrounding that particular issue somewhat confuses me. If people are really so in control of their urges that it's a non issue, why don't we have men and women showering together? Barney Frank's reasoning isn't that clever, the reporter just couldn't think of anything to say. Doesn't make the former right. The thing is you know when you're showering with someone of the opposite sex, whereas you don't know when you're showering with a gay person of the same sex. Yet if you think about it, would not those signs be there? I mean, I wouldn't want to shower with women (well i'd rather not shower with anyone tbh) because I'd think it would be pretty obvious there's an attraction there... Right. All women are attracted to you, just like all gay guys are attracted to you. It's a scary world out there. Didn't even see this post till now :o All straight women are attracted to men - not to me specifically. The same goes for gay guys. If we don't shower with women, why should we shower with gay men? Personally, I like my privacy, and would rather not shower with anyone (male or female, straight or gay).

Avatar URL too long?
Not usually, no, although it can happen. I've never had a problem with imageshack but I know that Photobucket for instance may remove images if you have too many.

Re-upload the image to photobucket, imageshack, or something like that.

Today...
yeah but I'd be using it online, and if someone yanked my digits online wit a debit card, I could go broke, and that would suck alot. Just look for the https at the top. Emphasis on the S. What Racheya says is oh so damn true. Do not get one because you need money. Get one to build you credit. I pay off my mastercard completely after every month, but during the month I use it nonstop. However, when you're about to do an important credit decision pay off your card prematurely down to about 20% of your total credit. Because credit checks check the money vs credit on your cards at that point. Who hear has/knows their credit score? Mines is like 780 now. Woot. (I just started building credit this February with my first car loan.) Did you have to pay to get yours? I always see those credit report sites but it always costs so much money.. I think mine would be pretty good, three years paying off phone bills in full on time, plus two years of the same for two different credit cards.

If I had a million dollars....
I know it depends on the area, but :o is that USD? Nope, AUS dollars... then again USD is pretty much equal to AUS dollars these days heh Where I live you could definitely get a 4 bedroom with a pool for 500 or less, and I live in a decent area.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Do you suggest banning them from the library? Maybe, if the issue becomes bigger. A library is supposed to be a quiet place to revise, study or learn, not a place to shout and scream. If you people with mental illness to be removed from places like a library simply because of their illness, then it quickly can degenerate into disallowing them from anywhere on the basis of public nuisance. I've spent hundreds of hours at libraries by the way, and let me say those with full mental capacity have regularly been far more disruptive than those without.
