I think their main reasoning for changing the name from MechScape was to avoid the tarring of the game as "another runescape". While RS has done great things for Jagex it sometimes carries a negative reputation in the serious gaming community that could end up holding SD back, especially as its aimed at a more mature audience than RS was.

Clans in top 7 don't get much of fights lol im sure TT , RSD are effected by it and People saying Di merging to VR? umm Di closed and some members decided to join only reason clans are crying about it because they didn't get a single intro from Ex Di members Di had around 140+ total ? fa and ml? if 35 of them join its a merg? ;) yea okay lol Where did I say DI merged to VR. I know that didn't happen. But what did happen, is the majority of DI members joined VR. It happened when SE closed as well, with the majority of members going to TT.

This forum is still relatively new, and there have been bugs like that. I suggest pming and administrator, as they are best able to help you. Also, try disabling rich text editor (if you were using it)

I don't think the crashing war affected much, DI members joined VR and VR is trumping it up as them winning the crashing war.

I've downloaded it (have connections so got it for free ). I've yet to install it though, I don't think I want to switch to it on my laptop and lack another computer.

I can't say I agree with DK closing - they've faked it so much that I think their incapable of the actual thing. As for RoT, certainly they took a huge blow when DI closed. They do have other p2p clans to fight, but no one anywhere near the caliber of DI. RoT will have to adapt to f2p to survive. They have done some f2p in the past, and as Mrmyk said they were fighting corr. I could see them surviving this but it won't be easy. As for GK and KO, I haven't been following them much.

I think it's been longer than that...maybe 4-5 years. At any rate as Racheya said, they had to develop everything for RS. They have the framework done already so adding more things won't take nearly as long and thus they can develop a new game faster. Not to mention that Jagex/RS didn't always have the staff they do now.
