  1. True, but then we would be fuelling those big corporations for making cancer in a can Nic ;) I think he might have meant it the other way around, makes more sense that way :P
  2. I'm confused as to what happened, can someone clarify? Also I need you to follow proper format before I award points.
  3. Welcome guys, hope to see you on the TWR soon :)
  4. It could be the advertisements, I know a couple people have had problems like that.
  5. No pictures of private forums please, especially not ones giving out ip addresses.
  6. Will more Alliances form as a result of clanworld wide slumping? It's certainly possible. The logic makes sense, and with the top 10(ish) becoming more and more powerful smaller and midsized clans will have to ally to stand a chance. Are alliances effective? They can be, though the majority of the time they tend not to work. What is your opinion on allianceS? I'm in two minds about them. They can certainly be fun and beneficial, but the few I've witnessed firsthand haven't turned out too well. I think I prefer a "close friendship" rather than an official alliance. For example, SE and DF were always very close, and tended to team in tourneys/clusters but certainly fought each other on several occasions and were never officially "allied".
  7. You're really asking two questions here, I'll attempt to answer both. The first question is: Why are big clans dying? The simple answer is they aren't. Three top clans have died this year (four if you include RR, formerly top) but that isn't the problem. People had real life obligations, it happens all the time. It just happened to be top clans this year that suffered from it. I think the real issue is that the places of the top clans that have died aren't being filled, and that leads us to your second question. Why is there no new blood (or very little) coming into the clan world? The clan world just isn't appealing. Small clans, maybe...but once you get to the world of top clans you're basically expected to lose millions of gp a week and return for 16 hours straight pointlessly dying all for some "victory post". For experiences clanners, perhaps they enjoy it, or at least can stand it. However, to the outsider, there's nothing appealing about it.
  8. They tend to be pretty much sugar and caffeine. Don't waste your money. Yup. This kind of stuff is almost always a scam.
  9. Congrats SED, nice to see you guys posting here again :)
  10. Definitely better than the old one, a few things I'm not a fan of but nothing's perfect :P Good job Kyle, now to actually keep it updated aha ;)
  11. I think the main reason clans prefer pvp is to loot - as much as most clans "don't allow it" its undeniable that it happens, and happens frequently. I personally like CWA almost as much as pvp, but as for dangerous CWA, I was never a fan, for a few reasons. I think that since clan members (particularly in top clans) gain and lose so much armour and wealth in short spaces of time it's hard to find fans of wasting it completely. Some clever clanners manage to make profit of pkri's (I was never one of them :() and even so you don't feel so bad dying when what you're losing isn't necessarily being wasted. I think the dangerous, suspenseful, anything can happen theme of PVP is attractive to many top clanners, it certainly was to me.
  12. Welcome, hope to see you on the TWR soon :)
  13. I'd hardly call 750+ posts in CD inactivity ;)
  14. I doubt it will have much effect, RSC is little more than a mini game now compared to the game as a whole.
  15. Why so angry? Crosby does tend to be annoying but he's certainly a talented player.
