What you have to recognize about feminists is that the majority don't really want equality for men and women. They want all the benefits to being a man with none of the negative repercussions. Equality I can live with, this ridiculous push to give women all sorts of preferential treatment I can't. The issue here is simple: Women don't, simply don't understand what being a man is like And they never will. I don't agree that since a woman dresses in "provocative clothing" she is "asking for it" but women don't understand the effect flirting and dressing provocatively has on men. Example - this happened to me over the summer (well not to me but you'll get what I mean). I was on a camping trip - and this guy raped a girl (the girl was lesbian and not interested). However, both were very drunk. She spent the entire evening rubbing his head and flirting with him, and making sexual related jokes. And to cap it off, he didn't have a sleeping bag so suggested he share the sleeping bag with her. He tried to have sex with her, she resisted, etc etc. As much as it is up to men to control their urges, sexual urges in men are something not easily controlled. It's a driving force that is always constant in every man in a way it isn't in any woman. It takes an insane amount of self control to be able to deny yourself in a situation like that and to be honest, in todays society, with advertising telling you to "just do it", to take what you want just because you want it, it isn't surprising that many men end up with serious shortcomings in the self control section.

God helps those who help themselves. I do understand the belief that God will provide, but this is just plain stupid.

But why is it a good thing to do something unquestionably? Why is it a good thing to fight for something you don't believe in? I personally think that if you do something wrong simply because you were ordered to, it does not justify that action. (Though when it comes down to it, most of us will do what we are told) I agree that the moral standards of the war(s) may be off - but the point is they put their lives, something very dear to them and their loved ones, on the line for the good of society. I think that deserves recognition regardless of the politics involved.

I realized how bad I am after a few weeks not playing, played as a soldier for half an hour and managed a grand total of 4 demoman kills :(

Soldiers are always heroes - simply because doing their job is so dangerous. It doesn't matter the validity of the war, or what - the fact that they are ordered to go into battle with a high chance of death to fight for something they may not even believe in, and they do it - that's enough for me. I consider soldiers of any army heroes - communist soldiers currently - german soldiers in WW2, etc.

Going to have to go with SE vs WL Jagex cup round 3 - starting 77 to 100 coming out 49 -0. It's special to me because I'd always valued organization in a clan - and I was still very new in SE, it showed me I chose the right clan. It certainly solidified SE in the minds of people as one of the most organized clans around. Also, PKM vs...Aether I think, was one of my first wars as High Council there and we pulled a record high 19 people.

Unfortunately I'm sure VR will end up the victim of spying and ddossing, I don't think that ingame RoT is as big of a threat as DF or EoS. It's the impact they will have outside that will prove fatal for VR. Interested to see how it plays out.
