For the third time in three years, Canadian prime Minister Stephen Harper requests to prorogue parliament. http://www.cbc.ca/politics/story/2009/12/30/parliament-prorogation-harper.html Short form for non-canadians: Canadian prime minister is trying to cancel parliament for 2 months. This would be the third time he's done it in less than 3 years. Its somewhat unusual and not warranted. Basically it would have the effect of cancelling a hearing into allegations that the government knew afghan detainees were being tortured. Obviously it doesn't reflect very nicely on his party to have to deal with the flak from that so he's trying to avoid it. I think its really low, that would mean parliament would barely run for 8 months of the year, what with summer break. I wanted opinions on this. I'm more conservative than anything, but I find this disgusting. He's basically attempting to avoid the controversy without any good reason, and it's almost enough to make me vote for the liberals.

Its nice to see them back, they definitely were a huge force on the TWR and caused a lot of positive competition. I do wonder, however, whether they'll be able to operate at the same level of power and be as successful as they were back in September. I have high hopes, seeing as both the original leaders are once again involved.

None have to be crafted. You just have to get a certain amount of Demo and Solly achievements to unlock them. Whats the "certain amount of achievements"?

I'm confused - in order to get the new items, which ones have to be crafted? And what achievements do you have to have to get them? I've probably played 15+ hours since the new items came out, only got gunboats and equalizer to show for it.

Exactly. While it may be a "low" tactic this is a game, it is up to each to enjoy it as they do. I would just go to extra pains to make sure you're speaking with the real deal.

The only time I avoid talking to someone is if I feel intimidated or just lazy. Most of the time I have no problem talking to people regardless of how they look.

Does Teamcapes wager alot on the outcome of a fight? It can. Overall it helps organization, the obvious benefit is that you can see who is on your side and who isn't, and of course the non one-click to attack. I can see why people complain, but I think that often it's used as a ploy to discredit the other clan when they aren't happy with there loss. In top clans at least, cape-switching is a daily occurence - and when you learn to just suck it up it makes practically no difference. If it does, why is that? See above.

You can't go wrong with Logitech, I've used their products for years and don't recall being disappointed once. I currently have a Logitech wireless mouse - its very comfortable and has several cool features but I've had it for about a year now and the right click is very stiff. The same thing happened with an old Logitech mouse I had as well.

Thats an issue with your computer - you need a new video card and/or some more RAM.

Hey everyone. It seems there's been some confusion as to why I'm no longer a clan moderator, so I'm making this post to clear things up. Over the past year, I've seen my real life obligations increase dramatically. I have a demanding college program, 20 hour + a week at work, a girlfriend, and numerous other obligations. To put it bluntly, I don't have time for tip.it anymore. I loved being staff here, I loved posting here, and I love the people we have here. Yes, even you generaldesor. I may be back at some point, if I ever find some time, and have my rl obligations taken care of. You can send me a pm if you need something, I'll try to check it at least once a week, and I'll try to be in #clans from time to time. Until then, I'll be playing this game:
