Interesting... I wonder if the indictment itself was unusual then.

The black community certainly got the raw end of the deal because there is basically no other explanation for there not being an indictment besides systemic racism. That's not to say Wilson is guilty of any crimes, but given the evidence available it is absolutely ludicrous not to indict him.Is it? Autopsy results were consistent with his story, coupled with an alarming amount of witness contradiction. All of this is according to random articles I've been reading, but one from a public defender said that all you need to do to get an indictment is demonstrate probable cause i.e. reasonable grounds for an investigation into a potential crime. Many people who are upset about this result believe that differing eyewitness testimonies would have been enough for an indictment in any case where a non police officer had done the killing.I was under the impression that indictment didn't usually happen without reasonable grounds for conviction....

Damning for the officer? You're not taught to take a shot and stop, you're taught to shoot until they're no longer a threat. Contrary to popular belief, one bullet will rarely bring a charging man to an instant halt....

At this point the most reasonsable and realistic thing to do is for all police to wear body cameras at all times.

Don't lie, you'd prefer to come to New Zanada! http://www.buzzfeed.com/simoncrerar/new-zanada-is-the-nicest-country-in-the-world I'm already in "upper new zanada" :p

I'm all for being patriotic, but mindlessly bashing a steroetype of another country's citizens when you probably haven't spent more than a week there is pretty idiotic. I've spent probably six months in the states, and I like it a lot. I'd never move there (I love Canada too much), but if I moved anywhere, it would probably be there.

If you have a sedentary lifestyle you're probably not going to be that healthy no matter what you're eating

Diet pop is arguably worse for you than regular pop

You can also try to make one small change at a time. Stop drinking pop, for example, and drink water instead.

That's actually fairly clever. I'm throwing on a Ray Rice jersey and dragging around a blow up doll by her hair. Trivializing domestic violence is super cool
  17. Leafs are mediocre. Buffalo sucks though...worst NHL team I've ever seen
  18. Isn't the whole point of that construction to be everybody's type?
  19. You can be attracted to pretty much anyone as long as they're healthy

Yeah...as long as you only stay in for a short time and warm up/dry off immediately afterwards you're fine.

  22. Yep. You can't expect other people to like you if you don't like yourself.
