  1. I made no resolutions, so obviously I've been 100% successful.
  2. It's not so much a straight up ranking as different levels. Peyton, Brees, Brady, Rogers are top shelf guys. Flacco is a shelf below.
  3. Joe Flacco is not an elite QB :P
  4. Unreal expectations garnered from society in general? And probably porn. I don't think that has much to do with it...breasts on a woman are a sexual characteristic that implies fertility, and has (probably) been attractive to men for the last hundred thousand years.
  5. Watched Robin Hood: Prince of Theives. Unwatchable movie without Alan Rickman, who was amazing as always. Morgan freeman wasn't even good. 5/10
  6. It's always difficult to convey sarcasm or irony without talking to someone in person, particularly if it's a first conversation. But the last one made me laugh in particular
  7. Gotta go with the niners.
  8. Why do boobs matter? The same reason that any sexual characteristic appears attractive...
  9. I play hockey, people have died playing hockey, I wouldn't consider it a tragedy if it happened to me.

I know many people who've had minor injuries from playing dodgeball...not that it's a good reason to ban it, but it's not completely illogical.

I think you mean you have over 300 confirmed kills and are trained in gorilla warfare. dat gorilla warfare
  12. I don't know that it's accepted, but it is a (somewhat) realistic risk. A tragedy is a young mother and her child getting hit by a bus, not a 25 year old man dying doing something he loved and fully knew the dangers of. Is it unfortunate? Absolutely? Preventable? Not really, unless we want to stop spectating these sports period.
  13. Unfortunate, I wouldn't call it a tragedy though.
  14. @muggi that's only if they fully realize the kind of person she is. It may not be all that obvious in which case they may well emulate her behaviour and see nothing wrong with it. And even if they do realize it's highly unlikely they'll manage to shake off all negative influence. This is why divorce is so terribly tragic; and I really don't use that word lightly.

    Everyone's an internet doctor
  16. You mean, there's hope for my kids. Their mother may be a horrible, soul-sucking harpy, but she is very attractive. It's not just looks that transfer to children, it's personalities and mannerisms as well. So you're saying that Kaida's kids will become horrible, soul-sucking, very attractive harpies :P ? More or less, yes. Parents are children's greatest influences, for both good and bad. Presumably Kaida's kids will spend half of their lives with this "horrible" person - I highly doubt they'll manage to repel every negative influence this person fosters.

It's not just looks that transfer to children, it's personalities and mannerisms as well. Also, what donnie mentioned combined with what Muggi says is why screening for future physical attractiveness at all is a waste of time. If you want to have a successful marriage, you need to accept that your spouse is not always going to be physically attractive.
  18. Good idea, I joined too. Won't add anyone for now, but it'll be nice to keep track of all the stuff I've watched. EDIT: Watched Father of the Bride. I didn't find it funny (except for Martin short), but I thought it was a genuinely enjoyable movie. I particularly liked the relationship between Steve Martin and Diane Keaton - it struck me as a very realistic relationship while still being very strong (something you don't see much of in Hollywood). 7/10
  19. Like RPG implied, it's not just physical appearance. Looking at people's parents is an excellent way to see how they are and will be in their older age.
  20. News flash, basically without exception, people become unattractive when they get old. With that attitude noxx any marriage you enter is doomed to failure.
  21. it's the low side of good, yeah.
  22. Watched I am Legend (again). Was good as before. 6.5/10
