I'm used to the Toronto rental prices. For $1000, you get a hobo's second-hand box. Been looking for a place to rent, and I couldn't find anything near your rent range, without a roommate. Also looked at a few apartments. Even found one that has a $1400 maintenance fee ON TOP of the mortgage. Yeah, prices are pretty borked everywhere. There's no living downtown lol. Even a 600 sqft condo will cost you 300 grand.

2013 New Year Resolutions
Not sure what things are like over in the UK but here asian supermarkets often have insane deals on meat. They kind of have a stigma of being low quality but really it's the same shit they sell you elsewhere at twice the price.

2013 New Year Resolutions
At present I eat fruit for breakfast and have a late, large lunch at a restaurant for just over £10. I then don't eat again until breakfast the next day (the exception is Sundays, where I don't have lunch because I'm cycling and instead have dinner at a restaurant). Would cooking lunch and dinner really be cheaper than this (good UK supermarkets are v. expensive)? You don't need to go to a "good supermarket" for anything other than meat lol, that's the case here anyway. I can eat for $2 a meal if I choose - not to mention that skipping dinner every day is probably not very good for you.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Agreed with muggi. Do 5x5 squats starting at 100lbs three times a week and I can practically guarantee you'll gain 10 lbs in a month.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
What I don't understand is why people who don't like talking to others are considered "disordered" in the first place.

Web Scraping/Grabbing Data
If you want to run php locally you can use xampp: http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp.html It basically installs a development web server locally on your machine.

I don't know enough about the html agility pack to answer you questions specifically. I can't speak to why that walmart page is rejecting your request...it may expect certain request headers that aren't being sent. Will it work with php curl?

What movie(s) did you last see?
I agree. I liked the reliance on makeup and prosthetics in LOTR, it gave things a more gritty and realistic look. Gollum was great but the orcs and dwarves looked bad. Bruce Willis. I don't think I've liked anything he's been in since Pulp Fiction (haven't seen the sixth sense). I thought the acting was mediocre across the board outside of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and emily blunt. The plot was predictable (up until the very ending) and the pacing was strange.

Sitting in bed with your laptop doing "trauma release exercises"...what kind of "release" is this really? :P

Moar spam - saw Friends with Benefits. Pretty generic RomCom - I do like JT as an actor though. 5/10

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
^ Basically what I'm getting at. Society tends to see death as a terrible thing for obvious reasons, but I don't think that's something we have to accept as inevitable (death as tragedy).

I think that you can choose to see happiness or sadness in that scene and your choice says a lot about you as a person.

She still lived a long, mostly happy life with her husband. That's better than what a lot people get. Exactly. I never said it wasn't sad, in a way...but depressing? Give me a break.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I fail to understand how that's depressing. Moving, certainly...but it's just depicting a life - indeed one that's mostly happy.

Web Scraping/Grabbing Data
If they "all have the same format and everything will be the same" then he might as well use a simple xdocument. Regex is almost never an optimal solution for parsing html.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
I've seen every class played effectively, but some classes are a lot harder to play effectively in mvm.

Web Scraping/Grabbing Data
If you're comfortable with Linq I'd recommend the html agility pack: http://htmlagilitypack.codeplex.com/ Whatever you do, don't use Regex.

what was your first job ! ?
95 sounds ridiculously brutal. My brother does 40 hours working and 30 school a week and that's insane as it is.
