Yeah, to turn this into a RS vs MS thing would be stupider than it already is. GMS came out in 05 so you mighta been playing a different one. B) If you've even played maple for longer than a week, you'd realize it's "KILL, PICK UP, LEVEL UP, JOB ADVANCE, KILL." Side things include party quests which is more killing. c) How to profit on MS: Buy a shop for $1.80, run around the free market for a hour or so while scamming people, set up shop, repeat. d) Nexon gives hackers a second chance, that should be enough. e) It's mostly edrama that's bad though. People will go around accusing each other as hackers, and if you don't follow the "top 50 people's" rules at bosses, you'd get literally exiled, KS'ed and harassed. I don't know why I'm bashing it that much. EDIT: time to let it die. I liked MS, don't really play a lot of MMORPGs or games in general, so it was good. Ignore all my rantings for people who enjoy the game.

RS players hate MS. MS players hate RS. I went to play MS after I quit RS some time ago. Played for bout 1-2 years. The problems with the game is that a) it's too NX/real life money obsessed. If you wanna have fun and have a character you don't wanna barf at, you gotta spend money. B) nothing to do but grindgrindgrind. c) the only way to make money is through merchanting. Oh and by spending lots of real money. d) Nexon is a terrible company. e) edrama. The community isn't the best and hacking used to be/is a problem. K, I ranted too much on it. I like the graphics, creative places to go, quests sucked though, scrolling is very enjoyable, party quests are too, skills are fun but get boring quickly. the private servers are fun though I have a 107 chief bandit, a page, and lots of other low level things. Quitted when Ariant came out or something. Might go back to try pirates again someday.

And Krazi, you don't need a tiara for the abyss. 1) The monsters are a joke. Just wear spottier cape, boots of lightness, mithril pickaxe/hatchet (lightest of metals), glory, and dueling ring and you're good. There's some super awesome setup that maxes defense at like 0-1kg but you seriously shouldn't need it. 2) Lurker and 3 pouches for now till 75, then use all 4. A more experienced rcer can feel free to correct. 3) Nope, at most my energy goes down to 80% but with crafting and banking times, I don't even need to rest. 4) It's like 25k exp and 370k/hour. That's from like 2 tests so don't quote me on that.

The bug contest got boring though :\ I only remember going there to get a Scyther, Pinsir, 2 sun stones and I wouldn't really go back there again lol. This probably means they'll get rid of the current pokeballs, I really liked dusk and quick balls though :(

Didn't know these were in GWD -- might have to try them there. I do these just because the assignments always are relatively small. But they are a pain. It rocks when you can get about three guys in there and kill them off as fast as they spawn. But by yourself, they're tough. Just stick with them in the fairy ring place. You can bank in like 30 seconds and with a bunyip and ~5 monks, you'll only need to bank for your gems.

Irons and steels-waste of time. Kalphites-too annoying to find a spot without people interrupting. Killing small ones are boring. That's it. Everything else I can deal with.

I've seen people do it in other weird places too like in the Myreque tunnels. It bugs me because they're cheating. That's all. And that when I try to do stuff like fletching, heblore, crafting etc there, it gets annoying to hear the stupid splash spell and I know I can turn sound off but...

I say wear Proselyte instead so you can pray melee and piety. I found that mage armor didn't really do much. Use whip and defender.

terrorbird praise again Warped terrorbirds are a good task. You get good slayer exp (~18kish), along with nice combat exp and 200-400k per task. Don't need to pray or cannon them either although you need prayer to lure the birds to melee range. Chime usage isn't annoying since I only need to use it once and they have pathetic defense too. They hit a bit hard but bank is rather close so it's ok. Check out the guide in the AoW about them.

Finally got my lumberjack clothing with 8 boots and one of the rest. Legs was the last piece for me. It was surprisingly very fun and took ~3 hours only cause I did events like vyrewatch so I don't think I coulda gotten 300k exp in that time lol but guess it's just luck.

Highly recommend you sell bandos boots and buy dragon boots and just quest to get barrow gloves, they're worth your time. I'm just gonna answer the ones I kinda know 2) Don't get torso if you don't enjoy the minigame.With your current money, I wouldn't buy either but go ahead if you feel like it, it'll only raise your hit by 1-2. 3) Block the tasks you hate. Metal dragons are worth it. Greaters if you're not 127. Hellhounds since they're crowded with no drops. Kalphites but you can do the smaller ones if you want since they're crowded. Black demons are easy with prayer so don't. 4) Use Duradel. For the 10th task, why wouldn't you use Duradel? He gives 75 points compared to 50 and 60 from the other two. He gives rather simple tasks. Black dragons can be dealt with in chaos tunnels, killing the babies. Steels should be blocked. Black demons are pray and go kill. Waterfiends are one of the best tasks in the game. Well, slayer itself isn't the best exp in the world and they're not that hard to kill.

I don't see why people are giving him low rates for being a "no-lifer" since he's asking you to rate it based on the level and the fact that he did it in 8 days. ZMI is ZMI, that's saying like "Whips are for losers, real players use dlongs lolol. Now hold on, while I get 99 cooking with shrimps." Anyways, 10/10. I can't do such a crazy thing in a small amount of time so good job.

It's not what you asked and I might get flamed for it but evil tree clan chats are really not worth it. Unlike stars, you can just instant tele to it so there's bound to be a lot of people there anyway unless it's a regular, oak, or willow tree. The CCs will only bring huge mobs of people and the tree'll die fast and you'll be lucky to get 100% reward and some exp.

Mith bolts (unf) seems like .0692 gold/exp and mith bolts are more expensive but you get fletching exp and they're easier to sell(cba to calculate). I say it's too much of a hassle to cut emeralds/buy emerald tips just for measly fletching exp and magic exp. You're better off fletching and training magic some other ways. I would expect mith bolts to sell well, unfinished mith bolts-ok, emerald tipped-maybe since I've never tried, and emerald bolts (enchanted)-well. For your original question, I would sell it and buy mithril ores and more coal. Steel would take too long really, and you don't really wanna be there for any longer. You could always buy rings of forging, smelt iron bars, and use SC hammers to make iron knives. I would just make mithril bolts overall, a small loss that's rather worth it. Leave em unfinished if you want, I don't really know. And my calculations might be off. Been a while since I've done BF since it was so annoying, with the gate, pets and familiars, no one doing any work, and the slow pace really but have fun. o_o semi-long post.

There goes 6 mil but I can do greater demon tasks again. Only had ~8 bones so didn't bother with familiar or using my own house.

Are you playing in w64? Just play in a different world really, I never really saw how playing with a large group of people helped me anyway since what you mention happens a lot. It's not a glitch you know, it's just that the doors change everytime someone starts a new game.

For the tanking section, you can add that if you've done the Seer's achievement diary, bring an Enhanced Excalibur if you're not using the flail special. Free 20 hp and a dose of super def every 5 minutes. Other than that, looks really nice. Would you recommend using the flail's special and guthix balance potions? I've done 100 so far so I'll probably start keeping track of drops for the next 400. EDIT: You should also mention that you can use slayer rings instead of walking from Canifis to cremate them. EDIT 2: I answered my own questions. I went to make more flails and it was so terrible. Had to go reobtain the mould, then enchant, and ug, it was too annoying. Then the potions, no make all so that was also painful. But it's really fun to use it lol, the kills do come by faster but gotta take in account how much time was spent.
