  1. Nice pictures, a few of my friends went but unfortunately I couldn't go.
  2. Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea. Never saw this one coming, delighted
  3. I've been told that as part of my uni course, I will be reading 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy. I know very little about the book having never read it before, though it seems a very interesting read. Has anyone read this, and what did you think of it?
  4. Yeah I woke up to find this  http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/board-agree-proposed-sale
  5. Well Liverpool lost to Northampton, and now Blackpool, not exactly going well...
  6. I've just started reading 'Atlas Shrugged' by Ayn Rand. I've seen very mixed responses to it (including on this forum) and it should certainly be interesting to read it and see what I think
  7. I was at the Liverpool game today. Poor performance all round, but at least we won  Also, I'm hoping new signing Raul Meireles can have a good impact.
  8. Finally had this come through today from UCAS: 'Congratulations! Your place at University of Wolverhampton (W75) to study English (Q300) has been confirmed during Clearing.' I've been waiting since last Thursday
  9. Talking of 6-0 wins... Newcastle 6-0 Aston Villa
  10. I'm going there for the open day tomorrow aswell
  11. Wow that's both disgusting and amazing  But yes 'The Sun' is the most horrifically awful trash that gets called news over here, though I'm biased as a Liverpool fan.
  12. I got my A level grades this morning, they were ACDC  (with the A being in English), so I wasn't sure if that would be good enough, but I used clearing on UCAS (I'd canceled my previous offers a while ago so I was already in clearing) and straight away was offered a place at Wolverhampton University. I didn't expect clearing to work that quickly, I was thinking I'd be phoning unis all day

  14. People who feel the need to ask 'Wuu2?' every 5 minutes. When people open a door to come into a room then don't close it when they leave. Only small things, but they annoy me a lot as they happen often :-P
  15. equalizer  Very entertaining match Spurs v Young Boys was. When they were 3-0 down I was thinking that was one year of hard work down the drain. With 2 away goals I expect Spurs to go through to the groups. Oops haha, I'll change that  And yes it was a great game, I think Spurs will got through now, though Young Boys could've had a few more goals and played very well at times.
  16. Interesting opening games for the new season. In particular: Wigan 0-4 Blackpool, amazing first game for Blackpool, didn't see this result coming, Wigan were very poor. Chelsea 6-0 West Bromwich Albion, was always looking like a Chelsea win but they got their 6 goal margin without even being at their best. Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal, Debut red cards for both Joe Cole and Laurent Koscielny, great finish by N'gog and an uncharacteristic error by Reina gave Arsenal the equalizer after a good defensive display by Liverpool, though I felt we weren't good enough in the first half, particularly offensively.
  17. I hope a takeover happens soon, but theres been lots of rumours. In semi-related news, we have just signed Joe Cole
  18. I have had exams my good sir, I shall return soon.

  19. Nice sir  That Sailing level is embarrassing though.
  20. AGAIN I SAY HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
  21. Our (Liverpool's) future is very uncertain, in terms of owners, manager and players, I just hope we can sort it all out. Also, I've just heard that Carragher may be set for an international comeback for the World Cup, which surprised me
