  1. No monsters have a Strength stat, so I assume their damage comes from whatever "weapon" they have.
  2. http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Rules_of_RuneScape Your mute was warranted, and your reaction childish and rude.
  3. I take it you didn't see what he was typing in the chat. There's a difference between criticism and being outright rude and disrespectful.
  4. Sorry, but I fail to see how this is Jagex's fault...
  5. Apparantly the actual damage boost on the new Balmung is 45% vs. Dagannoths. http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Koschei%27s_Story
  6. yey! EDIT: This is about Dagannoth Kings btw
  7. The other side of the coin is that the Dragon Riders described Zaros as a "shadowy figure" when he observed them before bringing them to Gelinor, although I'd be surprised if Zaros himself were back in the world without us hearing about it...
  8. I've also heard speculation that it might be Sliske: If you look carefully there are similarities in their clothing, perhaps a graphical rework? We already know Sliske is pretty interested in us, after all... Of course, Sliske has a white face, so it could also just be coincidence! Can't wait for this quest.:)
  9. Lobbied for spins at Nex, rolled this bad mother [bleep]er I am 200%
  10. There is a correlation. 06-07 was the peak of RS. Why did it magically drop after 08? It's to the result of Jagex's actions that failed miserably. Jagex wants to see if they could get back some of their members with 2007 servers. Edit: AND if a lot of players do come back, then Jagex will probably dismantle this new RS for the old one. Money talks folks. They have to see what works for them, and right now the noise is for the 474 client. wat even Your graph has absolutely no data between late 2007 and late 2012. At most what you can deduce is that RuneScape, like every other game on that graph is experiencing a gradual decline in player base. However, trying to attribute this decline to a particular update is absolutely awful use of awful statistics. You're basing your analysis on what you want to be true, with no supporting evidence. In a weeks time feel free to analyse the results from the upcoming survey, becase that will at least provide a measure of interest in these servers. However, to be frank at the moment you're talking out of your arse. There is no reason to believe these servers will ever become more popular than live, and I would be astounded if it had a bigger playerbase than the modern game on the day of release, let alone in the long term. If you have any meaningful, valid evidence to show that "right now the noise is for the 474 client", or that the 2007 servers will attract the majority of the playerbase from that era back to the game then by all means present it, but otherwise stop trying because you're only making a fool of yourself.
  11. This graph and related discussion is pointless because it's simply not relevant. The release of 2007 servers does not mean that every player who played then will return, I'd be surprised if a twentieth did. The point of this poll is to provide less biased statistical evidence to indicate the interest in releasing servers from 2007, nothing else. Argue about number all you want once we have the relevant data, but membership numbers are really not a useful measure of interest here, in the same way that the interest you perceptive is not relevant. I really hope people use this poll as it should be used - if YOU are interested, register your interest. If you're not, sit out and don't let people pressure you into voicing support for something you don't want, as it won't provide Jagex with the information they need to let them offer this service in a way that is best for the majority players, and them as a business.
  12. I really don't care what happens with this. If this was free I might log onto it once or twice, but there is no way I'd pay any extra money for it, and realistically it's not going to be anything like 2007. The content I enjoy today in this game didn't exist then. If it gets to 749,999 votes I might consider voting, otherwise I'm not touching this. I'd rather Jagex's focus was completely on the current game.
  13. I don't understand why they didn't use shard worlds for it.
